Hi everyone! THIs is my first grow and any tips and constructive criticism are encouraged. Right now they’re in a five gallon bucket with a 60watt cfl light in the top wth the lid closed. BLacked out walls from outside stops the light from being exposed and keps it inside. I plan on ordering a grow tent very vey soon(2x2x3) with a 1000w led grow light.

Great strain for beginners, easy to grow don't require too much attention or special techniques . She will grow fast, gorgeous and smell very very strong, I didn't think I was going to be able to harvest more than an ounce (because this is my first time) but hey, I'm very happy with my 41G! The buds were skinny but dense in flavour, I wonder why the buds didn't get fat, its because of my LED panels, or genetics? Overall I recommend this strain for first time growers!

She’s growing well and finally starting to grow out of her lil leaf mutation at the beginning.

This week went by well, I will start checking the trichomes on the Runtz at the end of this week. It should be ready for harvest in the next 2 to 3 weeks The G13 is still smelling like magic, looking majestic. The GDP buds are starting to put on weight

09 May 2021 Today starts the 15th week of my grow, and the 6th week of flower. Just over a month till the scheduled harvest, and today the nutrient amounts change according to my feeding chart. So today feeding went like this: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, FloraBloom 15ml. Today we aren’t using any of the FloraGro, and won’t be for the rest of the grow. I chilled the water again, but not as long this time and the temperature of the solution was 56.3 degrees F. I thought it odd that the website doesn’t allow for entries lower than 50 degrees in that block, but oh well. The initial pH was 5.89, and I added pH UP 2.5ml which adjusted the pH to 6.53. The runoff pH was 5.63. Lower than I want, but still within range for a healthy plant. Temperature in the tent was 81 degrees F, and humidity was at 53%. The plant looks great, and is maturing quite nicely. 11 May 2021 Today was a busy day! My DarkStar Kush is doing very well! The smell is starting to get stronger and the buds are fattening up as well. I’ve noticed some mild nutrient burn on some of my leaf tips, but nothing terrible. I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure that they don’t get worse. I haven’t really made any adjustments to the nutrients lately with the exception of increasing the FloraBloom by 2.5ml’s, and stopped using the FloraGro in accordance with my feed chart. Feeding today went as follows: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom at 15ml. The initial pH was 5.85, so I added 3ml of pH UP to increase the pH to 6.52. The runoff pH was 5.65. I finally received my TDS meter today, so the TDS reading was 1070 ppm. My feed chart says that the ppm range in looking for is 1050-1400 ppm, so 1070 puts me in that range. I chilled the water again today, and it was 46 degrees F. The temperature in the grow tent was 81 degrees F, and humidity was 40%. So far so good, and I’m starting two new diaries today for some clones I was gifted by Buddabud, so check them out. 13 May 2021 Just when I thought I was on cruise control with my baby here, she throws me a slow curve. The question is; will I hit it, or miss it? The light nutrient burn that I noticed in my last entry on the 11th has gotten just a small tad worse, but nothing terrible. I believe it’s not from the feeding, but the build up of nutrients in the soil. I finally got my TDS monitor as I noted the other day, so I tested the ppm in the runoff and it was over 4000. Then, as I was shaking the excess water off the end, the end cap for the battery came off and the whole monitor plunged back into the water completely submerging for a moment before I could get a hand free to grab it. It’s been sitting in a bowl of rice since yesterday. I just hope it dries out and keeps working. I need to see what the TDS of the soil at this stage is supposed to be and then either keep going and damn the burn, or maybe feed with pH’ed plain water for a feeding or two and then see how it reacts. I’m still deciding, but will research first before making my decision. For today I kept to the feed chart. I gave the following: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom 15ml. The initial pH was 5.92, so I added 2.5ml of pH UP which raised the pH to 6.47. That is what I fed the plant. The TDS reading of the feed solution was 1036 ppm. Runoff pH was 5.63. Tent temperature was 79 degrees F, and humidity was 40%. I have just about 4 weeks left in this grow till the scheduled harvest. 15 May 2021 Today is the last day of the 6th week of flower, and I’m going to try and arrest my mild nutrient burn on my baby. I’ve decided to just give water and CALiMAGic today properly pH’ed to see if it does anything to improve the situation. I wanted to have a significant amount of runoff today so I fed 1.5 gallons of water with 7.5ml of CALiMAGic. The initial pH was 7.60, but adding the pH DOWN is much different than adding pH UP! I initially added just 0.5ml to the gallon of water which lowered the pH from 7.60 to 4.9. I was like, “DAMN!” 😳 so I had to pour it all out and start over again. I learned through research never to mix pH UP and DOWN in the same solution. If it’s wrong, you need to start over;!so I did. After 3 tries and lots of wasted CALiMAGic, I finally got it right by only adding 5 drops (gtts) of pH DOWN to get it to 6.64. The TDS meter dried out and still works, so the TDS going in was only 403ppm. Like I said, I wanted a lot of runoff to try and clear out some of the nutrient buildup in the soil. The runoff pH was 5.58, and runoff TDS was 3803 ppm. Daytime temp was high today at 86 degrees F, and humidity was 31%. She looks good. She smells good. I hope she stays good! A few weeks left till harvest!

Welcome to week 4! The plants are really growing along now so we will be looking to transplant as soon as possible into their final homes ( 5 gallon ) I will be topping the plants this week to get some of that branching going and we will be looking to start the flowering process sooner then later. Day#23 Pictures N/A Transplanted plants into their 5 gallon homes except for 2 went into 7s and 2 stayed in their same buckets. Watered 1/2L each at 550PPM Day#24 Plants are digging their new homes , we took some video action. Its getting hard to fit all the plants in 1 frame haha. Day#25 Pictures N/A Plants are just growing along , going to top in the near future. Day#26 Watered ladies 1L each from the bottom at 550PPM. Going to be bottom feeding from here to see if it makes a difference. Day#27 Topped the plants let the branching begin! Day#28 Ladies look unhappy but thats them adjusting for their new nodes! Recap: Things are pushing strong this week we topped the plants and they are growing like nothings happened. I dont know that Im a fan of bottom feeding the plants but well see how things develop in the near future, I may have to practice the technique until im comfy with it as I would normally top feed.

This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! Let’s see how she continues to shape up in the coming weeks. Staying hopeful!🌱💚

12/17/23 - Day 41 - It flipped to flower today. I didn't document it via video because it's just like all the other videos. Except this change uses different level of the nutes for Flowering. Alot of the bud sites have tons of pistles on them. The plant itself is so round and bushy. The plants branches are very close together. There is a video up there of me using the software to change from veg. to flower. I'll update you tomorrow once the lights come on. Now I only get 12 hrs of light instead of 18. 12/18/23 - Day 42 - FLOWER POWER! Look at those flowers starting to form! It looks amazing!!!!! I think starting from a good seed is better than a clone. If this ends up better than the last grow..... it's already off to a better start. The leaves looks super healthy. 12/23/23 - Day 47 - What a WEEK! The whole family got sick and I was the lone ranger on the battlefield taking care of all the units! So posting had to take a back seat! I did manage to grab some pictures during those days. I posted them up top. This week is the first week of Flower, and its going great! As you can see in the pictures that the buds are starting to take off from the bushy part of the plant. I installed a second Scrogg net, the buds are already starting to launch upwards and I can tell they are going to need some support as they get bigger. The Leaf box has been taking great care of the nutes, humidity, temp, and lighting. There is only one thing that I have had to do manually. Toward the last day of the week, the day before the water change the PH seems to dip down to 5.5. It's not a bad thing to be there for a couple of hours, but it is the lowest range I would ever let PH go in a hydroponic (DWC) setup. I have been adding 2 cap fulls of PH+ to get the PH in check. To be honest, adding 2 caps full of PH+ once a week is NOTHING. I feel like it's the least I could do. The box is creating the perfect environment. It's the perfect Cannabis Oasis, I treat my girls to the finest of living before the end. :) Happy growing and I'll post again after the water change tomorrow! Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Everything fine! She’s getting bigger, and her roots too, because when I give her water, she doesn’t bend around anymore. Day 15 (April 26, 2019): she was hungry, she got food! Exactly like a Queen. 👱‍♀️🏻👗👑 Day 19 (April 30, 2019): topped over the 3rd node. Day 21 (May 2, 2019): removed the 1st node and started a 4-way LST.

Tuesday, day 50. Half journey is gone and now is just patience and care.. only the right amount of water, not too much and not many times per week - maybe tomorrow, friday and sunday. The Nana is the tallest now, since it wasnt stressed by any kind of activity, she’s presenting a beautiful purple tone on her leafs and flowers begin to grow very well. The other topped girls looks pretty same, 55cm in height, a lot of dense buds cover my stems, yeah! The fimmed girl is the shortest but the biggest in terms of yeld! I wanna see the difference between the three metods and see which one works better with the genetic! Sunday - day 55 - cold is dropping hard during these days, temperature start colling down of 1-2°C and I’m worried about the plants.. how can I avoid to kill them with the cold? What’s the minimum temperature for this genetic? Now I’m hitting 15 during the night phase and 17.5-18 during the daily phase (between 6pm and 6am).
