These girls are being super finicky this time around all root zone issues starting to think it's genetic never dealt with soany root zone issues before

Hello guys, we are in the tenth week of veg, I have had some delay so I have to postpone flowering for a week. On day 64 I defoliated the girls and took about 60 clones .. Another 40 clones have already taken root so in a few days I will plant them in the pots

Day 1 -another key week of LST training to Maz each node that grow Day 6- Gc1 appears to be overwatered. Now going to begin using organic molasses aswell

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]

First day of week 6, I will be adding content as the week progresses, have a look at week 5 as that is now complete. Status: Candy Kush #1 d36 - Looking awesome, some pistils showing. Was too bushy so did some LST and slight defoliation today with supercrop on 1 branch. Candy Kush #2 d36 - Looks like nitrogen deficiency is sorted, now I have excess? :D see the clawing tips? Gonna stick with the current feed, hopefully she'll overcome otherwise I'll flush her once if things get worse. Bubble Kush d32 - Amazing, nothing to report, some tucking done Fastberry d32 - Looking as weird as ever, some tucking done Sugar Mama d36 - growing and getting really bushy, shame about the mess I did with the roots/stem but she is doing ok now. ---- Fed 2nd day of weeks 6 (day 37), 3ml biogrow 2ml calmag. pH was at 6.5 Ec was at 1.5. New leaves are really yellow in candy Kush 2, iron deficiency? Not sure what is happening, will be monitoring. ---- Day 38, Removed the yellow leaves and a little defoliation on all the plants ---- Day 39, Raised the shorter plants so they get some more lights. All of them have finished 35 days (5 weeks from seedling today) and are looking great. Feed the same, although they still look very bright, brighter than I am used to. ---- Day 41, Feeding time, started giving them bloom at 5ml/l and the other normal dosages as in diary. ---- Day 42, End of week 6 The girls are all looking great, there is is so much hair on the buds, haven't seen so much with outdoor grows. Exciting :D Sugar mama is way too bushy and not getting taller. The new blades are too thin, maybe I'm overfeeding her (only biogrow+calmag)? defoliated her, lots of fan leaves removes, she is asking for some training, I've ordered plant tie and will do some LST when delivered. Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

The Blue Dream did very good , gave me thick dense buds full of crystals and smelling sweet and fruity

The white coverage is diatomaceous earth against gnats. Flipped them couple days ago , still nothing ,waiting

Let's see how it goes. I raised up the water so it is now 150ml 2x per plant so 300 per plant per day. The same with fertilization and the same days remain. I keep 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light schedule for Purple Punch obviously I take out from the tent and put separately. I can't wait to harvest the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe so I can use the tent for the Purple Punch. I give 18 hours light on so 12 hours on 4 hours off and 6 hours on 2 hours off. Basically, it was the only solution because I put the Purple Punch in at 23:00 o clock and take out at 9 am. So the light on from 23:00 to 11 am and then 15:00-21:00 and off from 21:00 to 23:00. It was the only good way based on my timeline working hours and school. I also see the first signs of flowering after 7 days of light schedule change of the Purple Punch. Hope it goes well. They have a totally different smell, both strong, but the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is like sweet and aromatic, and also like a muck heap 🤐😅👻The Purple Punch has strong smell but not sweet more like citrus. Saturday: I always had some yellow fan leaves but now it is getting more on the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe. Hopefully, it causes the flowering stage because the plant wants to use the energy for buds making and takes out of the leaves, so it is a natural process. I read that it means the plant is on the halfway of the flower. Hope the best. Tuesday: Purple Punch does well flowering, and the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe I think one more week so I will start flushing from tomorrow. I have checked the trichomes, they are cloudy, milky and the pistils started getting brown also so soon it will be done. The fan leaves also getting yellow as it can be seen so I think the next is the final week, if not then no more than 2 weeks and it is done. I can't really wait... End of this week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70cm and the Purple Punch is 40 cm.

6/12 Thunderstorms turned to sun Plants are growing substantially. The ones that were damaged from the sun have pulled out of it. I checked the fim I did on a gmo that later burned and it has five tops! I took a couple videos bur I'll have to wait until tomorrow to upload them. Despite the weather severity and inconsistencies I'm in a really good spot. I'll upload the two videos tomorrow when I'm in a better area. Wifi is far to slow. 6/13 Rained yesterday before turning to hot sun. Supposed to be in the 90s today. Due to the rain and storms we've been having I hacebt had to water. Soil is still moist. Plants seem to be growing at a great pace. With all this rain they've gotten a hearty dose of the nutes in my soul mix and then when the sun comes out and they bask for a few hours they look considerable bigger. Another storm coming up but other than that weather is good. Plants are happy and doing well. 6/14 Plants are loving this hot weather. Rainy then it will clear up and be sunny. All plants have recovered from the shock of the weather and are growing like crazy. Ice started some lsting. I haven't even had to water. 6/15 Medium is still damp. I don't think we'll get much rain the next few days but we've gotten a lot lately. I'll continue playing it by ear. The water lasts much longer with the smaller plants in lather containers. Later in the summer I could be watering daily. If there is no rain I'll allow the bags to dry out and I'll water them. I may start them on a small nutrient schedule like the fox farm organic one you use for the entirety. I've hesitated though because my soil is chock full of nutrients and they show no sighs of deficiencies. I'll keep an eye on it. They look great though. 9/16 Watered after church. 3 1/2 gallons so approximately a half gallon each. Iys been really hot and i dont see rain in the forecast. Also broke the gmo that I fimmed right at a topping point. It wasnt wilted, and I ran and grabbed duct tape and fixed it. I've had good luck in the past this way. Hopfully I will this time as well. Still sucks though 9/17 The plant that split at the V that I taped up seems to be doing just fine. Looks just like the other top next to it. Thank God. Things seem to be going well. I'm wondering if I should start giving nutrients but I don't see any deficiencies and I know this soil mix lasts pretty much through veg without showing signs of deficiencies. I think it might be a case of "if it's not broke don't fix it." I'll look back on diaries and I'll do some research. 9/18 It's overcast but it's been in the upper 80's. I checked the plants around 11 and they looked good. They'll need water but I'm holding off until the morning. The plant I broke at the crook shows no signs of wilting or any negative effects. I assume it will come back stronger. I was thinking about watering tonight but at 12 there was still a little moisture. They will be fine until morning. Plants seem bigger every day.

5/26 this plant is super fucking frosty and is starting to chunk up a bit.

This week went well..no complaints on my end..as you can see the ladies are starting to produce bud..the stretch is pretty much over..for some reason Gorilla glue # 2 didn't stretch as much. These past few days involved hours and hours inside the tent defoliating the girls..I didn't know how much more defoliating would be involved when Scrogging..but I know it'll be worth it at the end..just trying to have control over all the variables I can control for a successful harvest. Did a slight increase with liquid kool bloom from 10 ml to 15 ml per 5 gallons. Will keep an eye on how they respond..will keep yall updated in my next upload. Happy Growing 😎

Day 35: This week i was busy again with work + Christmass days with family + friends. So you can gues, i asked my friend again to take care of them. Well he did kind off, but he forgot to adjust the lights and dance the plants arround(shuffle them, sorting by height). What happend? They stretched out because of the heat and he gave them to much water everyday, he tried to do his best this time but he did the imposible, he overwaterd cocos soil. As you can see the leafs dropped downward indicating overwatering or pests. In my case, luckly, the first one. Luckly easy to fix. Also spotted some stress in stems due stretching, something i cannot fix. Because of this stretching it looks really crowded now instead of a beautifull equal cantopy. Thats it for this week, see y'all in the next.

Tequila Sunrise - Week 7: Slug Attack! But This Señorita's a Fighter ¡Ay caramba! This week with Tequila Sunrise has been a real telenovela, growmies! Just when I thought things were heating up with the flowering fiesta, WHAM! Enter the evil-doers, the nefarious villains... the SLUGS! Seriously, folks, when I saw my little señorita on Friday, I swear I could've cried. Those slimy devils had gone to town, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Leaves munched, flower parts devoured - it was a scene straight out of a horror movie! To add insult to injury, I unearthed a whole gang of the culprits - nine fat, brown slugs of all sizes chilling in the soil. The audacity! But here's the thing: Tequila Sunrise ain't going down without a fight! In a stroke of genius (or maybe just desperation), I decided to elevate her to a plastic chair throne. Apparently, slugs are like nightclub bouncers - they don't like high places (gettit?! ;). And guess what? It worked! The next two nights, not a single slimy visitor dared to approach. Victory, at least for now! Despite the slug buffet, Tequila Sunrise even managed to pull off a respectable 10cm growth spurt this week. This girl's a fighter, that's for sure. Weeds are called weeds for a reason, right? They're tough as nails, and Tequila Sunrise is no exception. So, here's the plan, amigos: let's send some good vibes this señorita's way. With a little luck and some continued anti-slug warfare, she might just bounce back from this brutal attack and still deliver a decent harvest. We believe in you, Tequila Sunrise! Show those slimy suckers what a true party queen is made of! Day29F - still showing vast growth on buds, swelling and trichomes blossoming out. The colours starting to form nicely on the buds. Smells like a pungent caramel now. Day32F - This plant is so thick and strong, and can resist a dry and hot climate. For me this plant has been so easy, and she sucks up nutrients and loves it, 💪 Buds are getting dense and so sweet to smell. So fat and so many, I'm surprised on this auto 👏 well done again RQS. Day 68- Day 33F - the buds continue to swell and devolope. Trichomes flooding through now. Starting to see cloudy so will push for another week of nutes if she'll allow it after Friday, we'll see 😏✌️💚

Everything is going well. Just giving a little more water when the soil is dry.
