Despite that there was a bit of mold on the top 2 buds, it turned out to be a very nice amount :-). After the lady was in the dark for 48 hours she was trimmed by hand :-). Then the buds were put into the drying tent at 62% humidity, where they now remain for 8-12 days before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. Start of week 9 - Day 56 from start of bloom Giving her just straight pH'd water with a bit of the hydro-sparkle. I will change out the res with Clearex in 3 or 4 days. Most likely harvest 1 week after that. Total ~66-70 days

Sep 1: there might be a bit of lower leaf damage on WP1 after the 2 C night here two nights ago. Otherwise everything seems fine and the buds are progressing. Sep 2: removed some yellowing fan leaves that had been damaged by cold temps. Sep 3: WP1 has finally stopped getting taller and is starting to flower. Good thing too cuz the days get short pretty fast now and it will be iffy as to whether this plant will finish in time. Sep 6: Well, I spoke too soon as WP1 is still getting taller, and it grew 4 inches in 3 days. This far north, it should be flowering not vegging by early September. Oh well. Lots of insect life on WP1 (ladybugs, spider, flys, few ants even) and a few aphids so it seems to be in a balance and the plant is fine. WP2 in the city was force flowered a while ago and is progressing nicely. These are in small 5-gallon pots in an attempt to limit their size and to encourage flowering.

Really starting to fatten up. Was originally going to harvest along with the StrawberryBanana but she's looking like shes going to need a few more weeks. Looking back to 2 weeks ago it's night and day. Going to wait until I see more red hairs develop. Still mostly long and white so I think it needs more time despite the 7 week flowering time they say. last week I decided to hold back flushing for a week now I think I'm going to hold back another week I don't want to cut this plant short.

I have noticed quite a lot going on in this little 4x4 tent. I am a bit upset with the burnt tips on every purple lemonade. I got CAL-MAG to strengthen the cell walls and prevent any future burns, but I was a bit late for that and the damage was done. Although there are burnt tips I'm still happy with how far along they have come and you don't learn if you don't experience it first hand. Happy growings my fellow weedlings 🌱 🌳🌸🤓🖖.

DAY 56 f: well here we are folks. The final week for these girls to impress and sparkle with the build up of their trichromes. The Six Shooter are the closest to the harvest time and i think i will be taking them out 1st. They have some beautiful purples and dark reds on their leaves and buds and the smell is so damn potent too. Very fuel terped so far but really potent to inhale. Both have different sizes but identical buds to represent the strain really well. I think their bag appeal will be top drawer. The Mexican airline are also close now and smell.so fruity fresh that it hits your throat with a sting. Lol not the biggest ladies for production but some beautiful looking buds on them. The Strawberry pies are another level altogether.... #1 is so fresh and vibrant looking with most of her leaf left on stil. I think she may go another week before her sweet spot is here though. She has a lot of good sized mains around the plant and they look and smell line fresh chopped pineapple so far. #2 has had her main leaf taken out for the past 5 days to encourage as much light around the numerous beautiful buds she has produces. I did supercrop her main to keep her from hitting the light and have noticed how floppy she is becoming from the weight building in the bud tips. I love how she looks now with the edible looking buds everywhere. Some of the best buds I have had the pleasure of seeing in these autos. Roll on harvest time. The soil has performed brilliantly throughout the whole grow this run and with a no-till method being used in the trays , I expect it to get better each new run. The organic/vegan soil also means any edibles are as clean as can be from home growing. The lack of harshness from using nutes is very noticable in my grows now and drying really is just about the moisture removal and natural chemicals so curing is a lot shorter. Instill get the gassy , initial conversion when using jars but it is more about the potency of the hit than the harshness of residual chemicals. While there is a slight loss in yield from soil , the smoke quality certainly makes up for it. So there we have it growmies. DAY 63 THE FINALE !!!!! Howdy all. I hope we are all well and in the green. This has been a very interesting and rewarding journey for me in so many ways on this journal. I have had the opportunity to run a seed of my own which has been a brilliant result from what I am looking at as I type this. It stayed really squat and has produced some somid hand grenade sized buds that smell of a diesel and fruit combination. I also picked up the lemon from her pollen chuckers genetics too. Should be an interesting cure I hope. I did find a couple of bud rot spots that had to be pulled out but with her density I am not shocked at all. I will be using the dehumidifier for their dry for sure. The Northern lights autos have also finished nicely too and I do think could go a little longer with a push but time is up and the next run is looming !!!!!!. She has some great sized spiked colas to enjoy my attention everytime I go in the room . Just like the other girl , she did have a couple of mould spots that had to be taken out but not too much of a loss thankfully. Her mutant sister will also be put into her dark 48hrs along with these as she is also done now. She has a lot less to harvest but looks so sweet and potent up close to the buds now. I took the Gorilla cookies out earlier in the week as they had finished perfectly. After 48hrs dark I used the bowl trimmer to help with time and get her off the stalks as I did find some mould on them too. Recent environmental changing has bought RH issues to the front again. They have given up some great smelling and solid nuggets that are now starting their drying out period in the nets. The rest of the ladies will be joining them later in the week until I can do a harvest report and my opinion of this amazing light unit from viparspectra. With new projects afoot and lots of re jigging to accommodate them , I am looking forward to the next few runs too. I hope you will join me for the fun and always welcome comments and ideas too.
