In my first few grows, I was hitting around 30 grams of dry weight, my buds weren't "fattening up", and I was underwhelmed by my results. So, I started again, and I've completely rebuilt my grow area. Lessons learnt: 1. Light REALLY REALLY REALLY matters! I started out by using a 35w led panel. I then "upgraded" to a cheap 100w grow light. I thought these would be good enough, and to some extent they were. However, since the rebuild, I invested in a Mars Hydro TS1000, which was significantly more expensive than the other two. I'm absolutely astounded by the results. If you're starting your grow journey, buy the best you can afford. The light is the most important part of the build, and if you get that right, the rest is a doddle. 2. Tents are worth the money. I originally had my stealth grow up in the loft, but have instead bought a small budbox tent, and that, combined with the light, has made a huge difference to the maintenance of a stable growing environment. For the first time, I am seeing fat buds, and it's a thrill. I at last know what people mean now when they say their buds are fattening up, because mine are visibly 2 or 3 times bulkier than those of my first 4 or 5 grows. And there's a lot of them. Previously I'd get the main bud on the main stem, and some smaller buds around that. My smaller buds are now almost equal in size to my main before, and my main makes me drool. I cannot wait to harvest. 3. Control pH. Stay on top of this, and keep it in the optimal range to the best of your ability. Buy a chap pH meter, and do your measures regularly. Make adjustments to the best of your ability. This means doing maths, and I've yet to get a formula that works well enough to be precise in terms of weights and measures of up/down agents, but small changes rather than wild swings are the way forward. 4. Try not to stress your girls out. I've had two grows go hermie on me. Too much LST, too much chopping and too much variation in conditions - water, nutrients and environment. 5. Don't give up. I'm not much of a smoker, but I so very much enjoy being a gardener. There's something deeply satisfying in knowing that you are getting it right. Sort of plays to my competitive nature. I'll take some pictures later, and show you what I mean.

The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Today 2 Purple Kush Germinate and rise above the vermiculite 3 days after sowing. Purple Kush is going ok, it could be growing faster, unfortunately i can't upload new photos because there is a problem in the GD system, they are doing there best to fix this problem as soon as possible. And i planted the 11 remaining popped SLH seeds in the brown round pot, this is just to see how many will rise above the vermiculite from the 13 SLH fems seeds soaked on 27/10. I will give these away to a friend. Both pots have been placed on a propagating heating mat for consistent and ideal germination temperature until all seeds have risen above the vermiculite. Once my 1 fem seed has germinated! i will cover the pot with a transparen plastic bag and place the pot 20cm below a 100W LED light. Aqui esta mi primer time lapse. No tenia ni idea de como se hacía, así que para lo poco que se, he quedado satisfecho. La cámara no es de calidad, y al ser una cámara deportiva no tiene un buen enfoque tan de cerca. Ahora que la planta se ha espigado he rellenado lo que quedaba de la copa para que gane estabilidad. Intentaré seguir con el time lapse si la vuelta al trabajo me lo permite.

3/11 Week 11 a day early due to schedule - Day 26 of Flower Buds building very well no signs of any deficiencies and the tips are ok so leaving all nuets as is. Halfway to projected harvest date according to Fast Buds, I believe them from what I am seeing. Having some humidity issues due to our funky weather. Humidity running higher than is safe on lights out , 60-70%, so installed one small dehumidifier but getting a larger one today to add to it. That is the extent of our problems so aint beechin guys One final comment here, these Fast Flowering photo strains seem tailor made for growing indoors. The flowering times, the way they grow and the lack of strong odors even with larger buds just impresses the crap out of me. 👍 Fast Buds 3/12 - 27/Flower Continue to stack up the buds I had to raise the lights one click to keep em at 16" on both lights. The increased feed PPM is showing in rapidly growing buds. No changes in feeding at this time. My wife has sweetly pointed out I messed up reading the calendar. This is day 27 of flower 😜 Yeah it was real good for 23 days too LOL So FB pegged 45 days of flower on the FF7 , with 18 days remaining. Flush could begin in 11 days at the soonest. Which consequently is when I drop the seeds for the last grow before my vacation. 😉 3/13 Day 28 Flower Raised the lights up a bit, want better dispersal from the two light sources and since there is now almost too much light this seems wise as the buds continue to stack up. The two light together are 1100 and 700 umols at a minimum so with 1800 Umols (the same as a 1000 watt HID) I can afford a dispersed pattern of light sans hot spots and dark corners. Multiple light sources is the way to go no doubt now. maybe pics later if I've time. Pics 3/14 Day 29 Flower Ye though there be no toilet paper in the land we do have buds... This virus thing is just insane aint it. Why toilet paper I wonder... Anyway increased PK to max 5ml/gal as I see no toxicity and they are building like crazy so feed em. Quebec Blast is growing good, she is starting to develop flowers, and stretching. She is the shorter one in the room. I am figuring a stocky frosty plant at end. 🤞 I get there with no major issues. A solution change of a gallon every 4 to 5 days has been my current schedule. Future grows I wanna try to keep roots higher up through pruning to allow more solution for better stability, and longer between changes. She is in a New Level Hydro bucket, under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light at 80 percent. Starting to Low Stress Training and super cropping some secondaries

Todo bien en general con este seguimiento.

Heute startet die 9. Woche,nicht wie hier vermerkt die 12. Woche. In paar Wochen starte ich dann mit Final Part von Terra Aquatica und Flash Clean um zu flushen. Anscheinend braucht die 11 Wochen Blütezeit laut FastBuds Website. Die Buds werden langsam fetter und die Pflanze ist super gesund. Ec Wert des Wassers steigt von anfänglich 1.5 immer auf 2.5 sobald der Wasserstand runtergeht. Muss nach 2,3 Tagen immer ein wenig Wasser dazugeben. Die Temperaturen sind für Indoor immer noch zu hoch,die Luftfeuchtigkeit ebenfalls. Werde das nächste Mal Indoor erst im Oktober starten, wollte aber mal sehen wie das im Sommer funktioniert.
