Day 54 from spout: Did a 4gal compost tea on 4/13 of worm castings, molasses, craft blend (bigger handful), build a flower (smaller amount), and frass for both plants. light/medium amount of defoliation every so often. I am trying not to take too much off at once to limit stress. After seeing how the plant did with topping, i think just bending (LST) branches will have similar results so i dont think i will top again. Scrog net will be on once it gets a little taller so i can really spread her out. Super bushy. Both plants. I feel bad for the one left in a small pot in the corner. I really like how it performed during veg so i might take clones of it a bit more than the main girl. A lot of bending an tucking almost daily. I think i will step up defoliation once the scrog goes on in a week or 2. I am trying to fight impatience but i cannot wait to see what the girls look like in flower. temps stable at high 70s tp 81 or 82F. Humidity i am keeping at mid/high 60s. 30Gal pot doesnt need much watering after the first correction or the last feeding i just did. the smaller potted plant i water once dry (every other day or 2).

Second flush, baut maybe the real first one😎, i gave 10 lt of ph controled water (6.5) and was checking ppm from water coming out. i gave water unitl it reach 400 ppm, my water is 200 ppm, i hope i'll bring it to 50 ppm for next flush in 3 days. This lady is so fat, and tasty already i can smell chocolate and pinus, i'm sure they're going to fatten up 😋😉 Day 77🌱🌱🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱 Keep washing it with ph controlled water, water now looks cleanest and buds are really blooming now, leaves are loosing color in favour to buds, i think i've got ther 6.7 days left to this lady cut. You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way because with these few steps, you could have a 99% of success if seeds are fresh (we store our seeds in a dark and sealed container in the fridge and they last years!). This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY technique BUT you have to respect some little and easy steps: 1️⃣take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; 2️⃣dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, 3️⃣take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face the wet side down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; 4️⃣spray the dry side 3 times. 5️⃣put your "sandwich/es" in a sealed dark container of a sufficient size to store them, I use a plastic container (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30cm .It contains about 8 "sandwitches". 6️⃣store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C (23/24 °C are optimal)and more. REMEMBER: More light they see and colder is the place, slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death and may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. I tried all methods (except rockwool cube) and in the last two years (and I germinated a lot of seeds) I can tell this is the fastest and reliable way. I loved to use paper towel but with this method is very easy to put too much water... I really hope that this "rule" will help all growers to improve their skills.

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! Thanks!!🙏✌️🌱

Panted the seeds straight in their main pots and put a plastic bag over them to increase the humidity. Removed the plastic bags after the plants were 2 days out of the soil. Temp is around 20c and humidity around 50%. No added nutrients yet. Only using some ph minus to bring the pH levels down to arounbd 6,5. After each watering I am slowly increasing the light intensity. Started on 25% then to 50% of the capacity of the lamp. Noticed in the second week that I had set my timer wrong and the plants were on a 14-8 cycle instead of a intended 18-6.

Beginning of second week flowering and plants are shooting up. Added a second ScrOG net and directed all the branches to get more of an even canopy and so the branches aren’t growing on top of each other. I did one last defoliation to remove any shoots/stems/leaves that are struggling for light.

Day 36F She was a late bloomer 😉 happy to finally see some growth and bud development on her. She's taking a sweet smell still, like a fruit not quite watermelon sweet yet. Day39F - flourishing, buds swelling up and getting denser by the day now. Colours coming on now, still a very light green in Comparison to the others in the tent.

The plants are growing steadily. I’ve already had to adjust the lamp height several times because the largest plants are starting to get dry leaf tips. I need to try to lower the humidity, as it gets very high when the tent is closed, and even though many of the side openings are open, the humidity is still extremely high.

So this week i Can only enjoy how much she's growing. I had to do some more defoliation on day 23. I surely should defoliate way more but wanted to try like this. On day 25 , I just enjoy the view of that Wonderful plant😊

Week 20: Coming along nicely with the growth, snapped off some yield due to poor LST/HST (grower error). Strange leaf symptoms, deficiencies/toxicities starting to kick in around Day 143 in soil.
