Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Started the new nutes a few days ago w/ epsom salt. Before that, for a day & a half, I used plain pH'ed water & trimmed off affected leaves. Such a slow grow 😕

Sapphire scout og bred by Humbold this phenotype surprise me a lot, frosty resins the amazing bud shape and dense. Intense flavor and aroma of pines,flower. Sadly humboldt not available in seedcity now so I purchase ripper seed to grow next season instead. Enjoy growing mate🎉

Clock changed to 12h and scrog installed yesterday. Light adjusted to 45 LUX One plant needs more nutes than the rest but as I have a main rez I need the same formula for all so either I underfeed one or overfeed the rest.

Welcome to the fifth week of flowering ... The smell is strong enough. The tops are getting hard and filled with resin, the pistils are getting dark and some violet shades are noticed. Unfortunately for the hydroponic system my water pump broke when it was still in veg and as soon as I inserted the bloom the air pump broke too. I could not replace either of them and therefore the results in hydro are not abundant but the smell is very good. With the help of ga3 I produced some male flowers only on the Cranberry and therefore some seeds on the smaller flowers ... Happy growing to all

12/01/18 Start of week 6 of flower. Buds are continuing to develop. The structures on the ladies vary widely. 1 has long sativa like colas. Another has 9 dominate colas and many many golf ball size side branches. 1 is a runt. amd the other is just ok. There are several phenos in these beans.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and not sure if she’ll make it to week 12. Still doesn’t have the percent of amber that I’m looking for so she’s still going. Gonna flush her tough tomorrow with some sledgehammer and pH’d water. Day 72 - Still not ready for chop but she’s plumping up quite a bit. Gave her 1.5 gallons of water with foxfarm’s sledgehammer and hopefully can get all the nute pushed out so she can finish strong. Day 73 - Getting closer but she’s still not there yet so hopefully this next week she’ll start bulking up more and trichs amber before chopping. She’ll keep going until the trichs are how I want them. Day 74 - She’s still chugging along and not quite ready yet. Each day she fills up with more trichs and not at the milky too amber ratio I’m looking for. Hopefully by the end of the week. Day 75 - Thinking she’ll be ready for chop this weekend. Nothing else really going on, just waiting to chop. Not sure if I should continue giving her water or just let her dry up until she’s done. Day 76 - Still just waiting on this girl to finish. Whenever I think she’s close, she throws a million more clear trichs at me so really no clue now when she’ll be finished. Might do one more push of foxfarm sledgehammer tomorrow and then just let her be till she’s done. Try and get as much nutes out of her and I can. Day 77 - End of week 11 and flushed her with a gallon of water and 15ML of Foxfarm Sledgehammer, PPM is down to about 223 so hopefully she’ll go into her final push and be ready for chop sometime this weekend. Still not a whole lot of amber trichs so until she’s got the ratio I want, she’ll keep going.

Sweet Sweeds dominant tent was down overall because of a F up on light regime. pins out of place lol. ok so all fixed. taking their topping and training like champs. merry christmas everyone. a lot of foliar spray to help the recovery. silicate a bit, algae mix.

The seed was adde to a half shoot cup of water and 48hrs in water the seed germinated. Soon after the seed was planted and 4 days later the seed sprouted.

🌸 Week 1 – Flowering Phase Begins After a solid preflower prep, I’ve officially flipped the grow to flowering! I’m now running 3 phenotypes in bloom: 🔹 #36 🔹 #38 🔹 #45 Pheno #40 has been isolated due to potential signs of hermaphroditism — nothing confirmed yet, so I’ll keep a close eye on it over the next couple of weeks before making a final decision. Structurally, things are getting interesting: 🔸 Two phenos are showing a tall, US-style stretch, with wider internodal spacing — just like what I’ve seen in modern cultivars I’ve grown in the past. 🔸 The other two are more old-school in structure, shorter and stockier, with tighter node spacing. 🌱 All 4 phenos have been successfully backed up in a DWC cloner for preservation — the hunt continues! Really excited to see how these girls develop over the next few weeks 🙌 Let’s bring out those peachy gassy terps !
