Day 14, some supercropping Day 15 .. it’s under control 😂🤣 Day 19 lights almost maxed to tent height unless I zip tie led to the top ceiling frame, last bit of monster cropping. Lost 2 top nugs to physical led burn but it’s ok. Everything is fine. Still going very hard on soluble N, and Pk along with b+, fishsh!t, microbial mass, humic acid. Carbs every day with organic booster

They’re growing healthy, just a little slower than usual. This may be due to the light being a bit far away and AVT hogging the majority of it in the center. The good thing is that she’ll be done in about a week and a half or so I hope. Otherwise they look happy, Pink kush seems to be the one growing the most, we’ll see if the other ladies catch up.

Starting of week 3 of flower. The plants look really healthy, no problems yet. FD17: the plants still show no damage from the hard lolipopping. FD18: gave them water today (30litre 7plansts) with biobizz, looking good so far. FD19: First trichomes, start to smell FD20: Smell gets stronger, buds starting to get bigger

One gal hermed :( Guessing as a result of the crushed tubing a few weeks back + defoliation. However, there has been some other wonkiness this grow such as no auxiliary buds on one, and 15-point leaves on another! So perhaps this is just a weaker strain not suited for training?🤷‍♂️ Checked all the other plants and no pollen sacks just yet - fingers crossed! (I sprayed down the whole tent with water as a just-in-case measure) Last big defoliation this grow! ~~~~~~~~~~ Aside from that, everything's looking good. Smaller gals are stretching considerably, two big gals have slowed down to a crawl. The tall gals are about 12'' from lamp, the others 15" - if things don't slow down I may have to consider some HST (nooooot my preference, all things considered - I'll end up with seeds, guaranteed). Or, if I don't see any significant burn, maybe I let them go and just harvest the top portions early? We'll see! More and more hairs every day, buds are getting bigger! ~~~~~~~~~~ OK! - Its the strain! Has to be. Woke up this morning and one of the big gals had fully open pollen-sacks :(((( Picked off every one I could find with tweezers This gal did not have crushed tubing issues, and everything tracked fine. This leads me to believe that these plants just aren't meant for stress training. This day and age - the breeder will usually give you info on the subject - I can't find this online ANYwhere. I know who the breeder is - (big big name-sticker was on the bag) so this comes as quite a surprise to me...but at the same time - you can't find them on the website. Feels like it was given up on, and I snagged some of them on sale, from a distributor who had some left? Best guess. (gal starting putting out foxtails a cpl weeks later - 10'' from lamp) ~~~~~~~~~~ Thought maybe the three smaller gals could use a trellis - unfortunately I did not train them well enough - they are a little too cramped/bushy. I will have to use the Bamboo support system from here on and the trellis would clip bud-sights. So worse case, I'll use zip ties / rope to keep them supported. If its anything like my first grow - the mainline/manafold will do most the work anyhow.

Today I gave the little lady nutrients for the first time according to the fertilizer scheme of "Biobizz" Juju Royal Grow Soldier 0.4ml/L and Juju Royal Green Mystic 0.1ml/L. She has a nice bright green color, the first 3 finger leaves are forming, she gets several leaf sprays a day, at this moment I dim my lamp down from 65% to 20% to avoid some damage. My little tower fan provides the lady with the little breeze she needs to strengthen her stem. I'm glad you stopped by and will update you next week as usual. Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

Week Nutrients The plant did not need any nutrition and water in those days. Last watering done on the 16th and next on the 23rd. The broken branch recovers well and with a light resin forming on the buds. PPFD avg 680 Avg temp 24ºC Avg RH - 55%

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Week 13 in the garden, and it's been a week of contemplation and admiration. Despite my initial plan to flip the plants, I decided to give them another week in vegetation. It's like I'm sculpting a masterpiece, carefully grooming the plants into a perfect botanical sculpture. Working with my plants feels like art – it requires skill, love, dedication, and a sense of playing God. As I look at the tent, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and joy. These green beauties are turning out amazing, and I'm filled with overwhelming happiness whenever I get the chance to speak to people about them and show them off. But the time has come to take the next step in their journey. They're being flipped this week for sure, ready to embark on the next chapter of their growth. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Lost a ton of overall weight from massive overfeeds. She still smells incredible and already smokes real nice. I'll post a legitimate report on everything once she cures up.

Plants are getting close to harvest time White Widow will be first with the Blueberry ready for harvest a week after. Thc production on the white widow plant is insane the bud clusters are covered in trichromes.

The Breakup Cake is into stack mode. The flowers are forming rapidly with real nice spacing. Going to be some big buds forming on this lady. The ladies got their first feed of Massive Bloom Formulation with their floranova bloom and some Floranova grow. Mixture was 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Massive Bloom Formulation 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Floranova bloom and 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Floranova grow . Total of 1200 ppm of feed. Thanks to all my friends that stop by with kind words and thanks to Kannabia for some great seeds. They need a cooler logo. Their packaging of their seeds rock though and so do their people. Week 9 Flush week for PE1 & PL1. Most pistils are brown or are browning and a large portion of trichomes are turning milky with some turning brown so, another week and they should be ready to harvest. PE2 still has little more time and should follow a week after. PE1 is looking and smelling mighty tasty. She's filled out nicely with clearly defined chunky buds. I just can't wait to trim those down. Despite being outside I can smell the pineapples on the groundfloor at the other end of the garden 😂 PE2 is also looking beautiful but still, has a few weeks left in her. The lemonade could be chopped now in my opinion however, I wanted this one to be my nightime smoke so i'm going to let her mature another week and chop along with PE1. She's so compact I can't really tell where each bud site is, guess i'll find out soon. I've also been preparing my shed for drying. Last season I used the office and stunk the entire house out, it was so strong at one point it made me feel a little sick. My wife, well, she was NOT happy; I'am amazed how she puts up with all my shit, she's an awesome girl. So rather than put us all through that again Inchose the shed. The challenge with the shed was to get rid of the smell. The people who lived here previously stored pool chemicals in there so it took me a few months to get any residual smell of chlorine etc out. It now just smells like somewhere dark so, should be good. The only concern is airflow. I have a fan in there but there's no ventilation. I could keep the door open but I don't want to encourage anyone to go looking for its source 😁

More or less the same I feed plain water and they in a soil mix I put together from organic matter this type of growing is really easy, more boring at times no issues at all through out the whole grow

D35 - The first day in the first week of flower. She was getting thirsty, so I gave her 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.2 and, as always, she drooped after. My old humidifier died on me, so today, I got a new one. It's a smaller version of the one in my other tent, and it is the cutest little thing, but hey, it doesn't need to be mighty for that tiny tent. I also got a new Inkbird to keep the RH constant. I already use one of those in my other tent, but I opted for the WiFi version this time. I shouldn't have bothered, though, as all it does is display the RH but doesn't allow the app to control the Inkbird. Pointless as I already have remote temp/RH monitoring. D40 - Today, I did some more LST and light defoliation to ensure proper airflow. The canopy shadowed the leaves I removed, so they weren't contributing much anyway. I've increased how much light she is getting since she is in flower, but I have to be careful due to the younger Chocodope girl in the same tent. Currently, I'm reading around 650 PPFD at canopy level but will increase that over time until I hit about 900 PPFD. Finally, I gave her about 0.6-liters of water @ pH 6.5. D41 - The end of the first week of flower, and all is well.
