Week 5 – All calm before the swell 🌊🌿 The Lemon OG girls are moving into mid-flower and staying true to their name: calm, consistent, and frosty. The structure is set, stretch is over, and now it’s all about stacking. Buds are forming nicely and trichomes are coming in stronger each day. No major issues, just some fine-tuning and observation. Sep 24: starting new diary to accommodate 30 week limit on Growdiaries. Buds are nearly ready but weather is good so will keep her going a bit longer. Nothing harvested from this plant yet but the clones are mostly harvested and produced great dense buds. Fantastic plant. Sep 28: took 995 g wet in first round which might be half of the plant, but I think I’ll end up over 2 kg wet which means 454 g dry is possible. Come on, I still haven’t had a one pound plant. Either way, this is the best growing strain I’ve ever tried, the buds are great and trimming is a total breeze. 👍👍

22-01 Already in week 5 and the topping is taking off its results. *I ended the grow of nr: 3, just bad genes. but more light for the other 3 plants. 24-01: Applied another round of LST today. This time to create 4 main coala's and a wide and full deck of leafs. When the plants start to get more busy i will add an scrogg technique and do a little defoliation at the bottom of them to take even more profit of the LST. 26-01 I added Mega worm from plagron to the soil to give the plants a big boost so that they are ready for a strong flowering phase.

Hi guys I hope your all good, So its been a mad week! Had to have a switch around. So the mimosa sherberts have been a nightmare but I think I got them back on track, there a good few weeks behind now. Gelato cakes are doing brilliant! Frosting up lovely and smell amazing, I reckon 4 weeks max left on these 2 autos, then its waiting on the sherbert mimosa to show me some nice buds. I have 1 blue cheese fem and 2 x dark phoenix vegging in there now. I will repot them when the autos are all done and finished. Day: 9 I'm considering replacing a cpl of these with different seeds. They are already behind schedule-1 OG Kush and the Gorilla Girl. Any tips varigation on leaves? I just gave them there first feeding of Big Buds and Blooms (N5) after the 24 hour Superthrive wait period. Both Superthrive and NPPK were used at 1/4th the strength called for on the lable. Nighty Night girls. Going to bed wet is not ideal but they needed a full watering bad..hoping I didn't over water (purified water) Some of the soil just does not seem to get wet in these pots. weak leggy blackberry kush has some wind tonite. Hoping to boost stem strength. they are trying to fall over from the weight. Day 10: made little stakes from coated wire. Repositioned the Gorilla Girl for a third time. You can see that part of the stem looks white from being underground. Still gonna give it a little more time. Otherwise, all are seemingly fine after first feeding. Day 11: applied SuperThrive and my Gorilla Girl turned yellow for a few hours. Glad she is resilient!!! Day 12 thru 20. So my PH meter was wrong and I have been watering with 9+ water for the first 2 weeks. i had 2 ph meters in case this happened but one is for soil...new grower mistake. So...I've lost precious time on my aotos and my gorilla girl is ...lord help meh..she don't look too good. All are alive in spite of my noobness. I'll post some pics that should have a disclaimer stating this is not what your plants should look like at 20 days in. Also had to transplant into non-waxlined pots. This is not the best experience to show publicly but new growers can maybe learn from my mistakes.

I really failed at the beginning of this grow with not putting up any kind of netting or trellis. I’ve had to put bamboo in the pots and and wrap string around that way the branches can rest on it. I’ve noticed the buds are getting fatter.

Attempted some LST training to expose nodes to sunlight and to trigger more growth below growth tip. I think she needs a bit more nutrients.

45 grams total dry ;-) She is clipped and is now lying to dry, there was 211 grams of wet plant material so I expect to have about 50 grams dry - i will update this part later! I have cheated a little, and tasted a bit of the scissors hash and I can seriously relate to the taste of watermelon. Looking forward to tasting her dried flowers so far it promises well ;-)

The plant has recovered well from the last capping and defoliation🏻‍♀️ A few leaves have yellowed a little, but that's not so bad🏻‍♂️ It will get a compost tea🍵 in a few days when it is sent into flower and then everything will be fine again😊💪🏻🏻 The compost tea is brewed and was given to the Watermelon Runtz at day 49 of Veg🍉🏃‍♂️

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.
