Welp I overdid some things the past couple weeks. Bumping up the light schedule to 20 hours so soon after adding the second lamp definitely caused some lightburn. At the same time I over watered before going out of town and came back to fungus gnats yuck. Only really signs of root rot on ok be plant. Changed lights back to 18-6. Went a whole week before feeding any again, until bottoms felt dry. Last nutes for white (hard flush w/ peroxide next feeding), normal nutes for blue and yellow (last with grow big). Topped and mended in an inch of perlite and sprayed Neem oil around fabric pots, top of soil, and plant base as well as hanging fly traps. Seems to be coming under control. Harvested 4 small spears off of red and began drying testing potential setup. Will do another partial harvest on red and potentially a spear or two off of white as well this week.

We are in the middle of week 7 and flowering has started about 4 days ago. Big gal started budding 2 weeks ago.

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Week 2 and nice and green, we just gave some more organic nutrients like palm tree ash and some guanokalong powder, for the moment its seems to be all good, in 2 weeks I'll be adding some sugars and some more PK

buds are very visible and getting some mass (still really small though) and really satisfied with the number of bud sites. REALLY REALLY can't wait to harvest these ladies. P.S. the plant at the end of the last video is an autoflower we planted a few weeks ago.

Getting close to that time! Prob just a week or so out letting the trichromes darken up a bit more and going to chop em down! They look amd smell beautiful and I can’t wait to try them!

Esta semana se nota el estallido de la floración. Los pistilos van cogiendo vigor y tamaño. Las flores continúan oscureciendo e incluso las hojas y sus tallos van adquiriendo ese color rojizo/púrpura. 🌿 El tallo tiene un tamaño y consistencia considerable, lo que le está permitiendo resistir algunas rachas de viento sin excesivo problemas y sin necesidad de soportes o guías (por el momento). Se perciben un poco mejor los aromas de las floración, aunque siguen siendo débil. Una ya ha alcanzado los 36cm y la otra 40cm. Seguimos aumentamos la cantidad de agua, progresivamente, según van pidiendo/necesitando las plantas. Sigo intentando no utilizar ningún tipo de "ayuda extra", salvo la tierra enriquecida de @BioBizz All-Mix donde están plantadas. Así que por ahora; agua mineral, luz solar, mucha paciencia y mucho amor!🤞😍

Day 31 - Watered 1.5L each at 6.5pH Day 32 - 4AM1 has the most developed buds so far but Sour Stomper 1 is already putting on some light frost! Day 35 - Fed

Amazing plants. Getting fat. Turtle Taffy Auto is blowing me away. Didn't have much hope for it in the beginning. But WOW! continue to feed and defoliate as necessary. Sticky Mango Auto seems to be fighting me a little on nutrient issues but everyone else is playing nice. I can't wait to see what comes out. Some colas already needing support and lights are as high as they are going to go. I think I'm good.

-6/11/23 Start of Week --Week 12/Flower 6 -6/17/23 (Day 91/Flower 43) --Observations: starting to get the classic cannabis scent, there is a lot going on under what is seeable from the top, leaf tips nutrient burnt --Changes: increased amount of water per day, stopped giving nutrients during the week, removed more of the lemon basil, upped the intensity of the light (62%) --Comments: started giving more water at the beginning of this week (about 22 oz daily) but had to stop adding nutrients every time because leaf tips started getting burnt. removed more of the lemon basil because it had started growing over the purple lemonade, the basil is growing like crazy. finally got a closer look at the inner growth of the purple lemonade and there is far more going on than I originally thought, looking like this might be the best grow I have done so far. purple lemonade scent is starting to intensify and gain the classic cannabis smell but still has the lemon citrus scent. decided to increase light intensity instead of lowering height from plant, light is now at about 62%. -6/17/23 End of Week -Post-Week note: decided to put the actual height of the top of the colas instead of the distance from the base to the top of the main stem, past weeks have also been updated.

I would be lying if I knew how far her flower phase come, this couple weeks been absence only gave me results, and left me with a catalogue nightmare, but thank goodness my previous posts are dated, so it gives a rough idea, but genes differ within strains, some strain grow vigorously at certain stages, and I think this baby hit her phase. She will be my best tree when it comes bud quantity, when it comes to potency, I will have settle with what I encounter and except the outcome.
