Earlier this week our very own sidelibe reporter Lyetah Nutherwon was able to catch up with the clone 1Leaf aka The 1, and discuss the plants recent success. We will now take you there live, to the transcript of that interview L..N.:"So 1 Leaf, what has been the key to your recent success?" 1: "I think the biggest keys have been taking advantage of light and nutrients while also making sure i stay well hydrated." L.N.: "How has all the success changed your life and is it hard not to let it go to your head?" 1: "Nah it doesnt go to my head cuz Im pretty much topped all the way around. I believe its important to stay in touch with your roots and remember where you came from. What makes you who you are. I had a rough dome life growing up and like to stay in touch with that part of me and use it as motivation. L.N. "motivation for what? What would you like to change?" 1: "I don't want young clones growing up feeling the way I felt. Indica, Sativa, Hybrid....we're all the same genus. Indoor plants...outdoor plants....we all need to come together. We dont have to agree about everything just respect one another regardless of what color our leaves are, the spectrum we prefer, whether or not we are foliated or defoliated, nutrient burned or nutrient deficient." L.N. "That sounds down right reasonable 1 Leaf. You should probably be ruler of the universe. What about all the strainists and haters? If plants want something to blindly hate then why not just hate seedling molesters? Just cuz an indica or a sativa wronged you doesnt mean they all will. There's good and bad phenotypes of all strains....but there aren't any good seedling molesters. So let's all just hate them instead. L.N.: "That might be the most logical thing I've ever heard. * ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Week 12 Flower 8 Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week. Not much to say here, plants are growing nicely and overall look fine to me. i topped the bigger ones at the end of the week above the 4th node and the new branches are starting to develop. They get a little bit thirstier and drink more often and i think in the next week i'm going to put the small ones in bigger pots. So lets get into the next week :)

The Lemonberry Haze is a strong open plant, with big side stalks,big leaves but not that many. She has medium internodes. A little bit of LST did help to get the cannopy more even. EC levels never raised EC 1.4 and i had never a problem with feeding her. She matured very fast and i was amazed by her speed. You could have harvest her at day 63 but i did flush her a bit longer. This plant had a wonderfull smell of turpentine with lime and had very dark looks, very dark green with some purple nicely covered with white crystals very nice. This is the day i chopped its around at Day 105. the middle one and the right one was perfect. The left one was so slow i dont even know what happened with her in flower. I was thinking about giving her more time but at that point i wanted them off. Pistiles were still a lot white and not brown but whatever i took them off this day :) i think we can be happy with the results. I try to actually not give nutrients within the last week. I know flushing is not necessary for organics which i dont, but i dont think they need nutrients for the last week. My opinion!

Eight, nine, it's boring we say, we're sleeping all day. Frequently the tiny leaves we count, while the real show happens underground. DAY 8 (actually day 7 for Mimmy, but you know.. Kids.. :rolleyes: ) She's growing like she should. I love her already. Still watered her 0.5L water with Enhancer today, forgot to add to the soil. :) Pot was quite heavy. Lights are at 55% approx. DAY 12 Needed to water, so she got her first Booster Tab alongside Easy Plus Micronutrients, dissolved in lukewarm water + added compost tea. The tabs dissolved well, now let's see what they can do! 🚬 I also added nematodes for fungus gnats, saw some of them bloody critters flying around. :argh: Watered 4L. Flowering day 57 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The lady is slowly coming to an end 😍. The buds start to swell extremely . The trichomes mature day by day. This week she was given a very light flush with Clean Fruits so that she can use up her remaining nutrients in the coming days 👍. It will be harvested in the next 10-14 days 😍.
