Chopped on Day 70 (September 6th, 2020) 9/6/20: Hung her to dry after taking off most of her fan leaves. I decided to hang the whole plant this time around to see if it helps my dry quality. Will update with pictures soon. 9/12/20: Trimmed her up today after feeling that the nugs were crispy and dry. First couple days of dry we were experiencing a bit of a heat wave and high humidity levels (fluctuating from 60-75%). During the final days of drying we had rain and then it cooled off and dried out lowering my rh in the tent to around 50%. That crisped the nugs right up in 2 days and I decided it was time to pull her out and trim her up. The nugs were so incredibly sticky and smelled of chem. They are really dense despite their look especially the main cola nugs. Still smelling a bit like hay but I'm confident that the curing process will take care of that. I am curing with Boveda 58% rh packs in each jar and a hydrometer as well. Not going to test a nug until at least a week or two of curing or until I run out of Sour Crack lol. Will update with a smoke report. 9/28/20: So it's been just over 2 weeks of curing so far. When I first put the nugs in the jar, I was worried they were a bit too dry/crispy for what I was hoping for, but after 2 weeks of curing the nugs aren't as crackly sounding in my hands. I cured with Boveda 58% rh packs and mason jars as seen in the pictures. **SMOKE REPORT** 9/28/20 - 2 weeks of curing: The smell of this strain is a really unique one, or maybe the pheno that I got is. It smells fruity for sure but it has this gas smell to it that almost smells chemical but in a good way. I marked down tropical above because the combo of pungent fruit almost brings out a sweet cocktail aroma. After really thinking about it, I've never smelled weed with a scent quite like this one! The smoke was smooth in my freshly cleaned bong and I'm decently high. I feel pretty tired but I'm ready to do something like game or make music. I don't feel hungry (yet) but my throat is begging for a drink. I'm happy that I have now smoked my own home grown weed twice!

Day 36 (Second Grow): Hey everyone! We’re starting a new week and have officially entered the flowering phase! 🌸 We switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle, and the plants are responding beautifully, growing 5-10 cm every day. Our SCROG net is doing a great job keeping the canopy even, ensuring all parts of the plants get enough light. The Timor shield mantis is happily patrolling the garden, providing natural pest control. We've placed a hygrometer within the canopy to monitor humidity, which sometimes exceeds 70%. We're considering adding a dehumidifier to keep levels in check and prevent mold or mildew. Any tips on managing rapid growth during flowering or keeping humidity levels in check? 12-13 Friday the 13th before Christmas. Kinda neat. Well lets see how I set up this ride. Watered around 2.5 l. Weird, to full saturate my pot, without run off AND to feel the bottom of the pot wet-ish. Anyways. 5ml cal/mag, 1 ml drops of balance, 3/8 tsp-ish recharge and 1 ounce EM1. Hopefully coasting and watching them swell. Scc still getting taller. Sheesh 12-15 Big plain water, I strike again 😂 Saw some yellow tips, at first I figured hungry, makes sense, top dress due. Let check the run off and see where we stand. NOPE, slight burn. GD!! Ppm 1580 ph 6.6. so now they both around 900 ppm. Bulk time. Coulda waited a week and then top dress. Maybe next time I can think and check my run off before I top dress. Even if youre not supposed to in organic. Ok rambling. 😁😂🤘 .

So where off ! Well these seedlings have got off too a great start , I did not pop the seeds into water for the first 24 hours this time , I just placed into a peat pod and within 3 days they broke the soil , so about the same time too germinate than both methods , I started them off at 200 watts of my 600watt dual spectrum bulb

Week 5 – Beast Mode & The Big Flip! This week I set up a timelapse to capture just how vigorous these ladies really are — and it didn’t disappoint! 🌱 The tallest Lemon Cherry Runtz even surpassed the Papaytons, though to be fair she’s sitting right in the sweet spot in the center of the tent. I also bumped up the light a bit, and the response was instant. Big thanks to SANlight, AC Infinity, and Autopots for keeping this jungle happy. Some of the girls figured out that there’s basically an endless water source waiting under their pots, and in search of it they threw down insane root systems. You can tell they went into full-on beast mode. This time I’ve been home for almost a month straight, so I could keep a daily eye on the propagation tent. It paid off: the first clones of all four strains rooted within 6–10 days! They’ll be kept safe until we find out which phenos are the real winners. Before flipping them to 12/12 on 19.08, I pulled each cultivar out, gave them a clean topping, and prepped them for flower. Since they were so big already, I skipped cloning the tops and went for side branches instead — they root faster, which is crucial in summer when cloning isn’t the easiest game in my setup.-äpl-.lp0üß0 Meanwhile, the moms I sent to the flower tent are already flashing their first pistils — can’t wait to show you how those develop. The rest will have to stay in the 4x3 for now until the flower run is done in 3–4 weeks, so I went hard on them: lollipopped, defoliated, topped — the works. For now, the goal is to keep them compact and healthy until it’s their time to shine. The real fun is just beginning… stay tuned for flower! 🔥💚

Day 17 of flowering I applied the last dose of Delta 9. They reacted beautifully. Hope to see big colas and healthy buds.

What a great week! We only gave them their nutrients once this week, and it seemed to be just enough for the girls. They're all fighters and are showing it every day. The greenhouse is starting to work in our favor during the day because when it was humid enough, the temperature was perfect. One of the girls, Osaka, started to grow rapidly, and we noticed that it may have been due to the fact that she was collecting the rainwater that had seeped inside the greenhouse. The rainwater had just the right pH to allow her to grow not only rapidly but beautifully. It was very unexpected at first, and now she's starting to look like our shining star. One of them, Ben, also looks like she's flowering a little, but we're not sure what to do since it's still a little early... Hoping for the best and, as always, hoping for rain!

So I’ve got a fungus gnats problem. Humidity is under control finally. One of the girls is being flushed currently I ran 15g through her 5g pot . Two other girls are close to where I want them to before I flush I’m waiting for the buds to become dense still. 3 of the girls are finally fattening up the additional liquid amendments I’ve started feeding have certainly helped . I’m still racing against time in one way or the other but I have gained a wealth of experience & have formulated new methods to try in order to get the best results from my style of growing . The liquid amendments I’m feeding are indeed organic still so no worries 😉 there . I’m waiting for my yellow sticky traps & rounding out this grow in these next few weeks . Depending on how long this first girl takes to flush I’ll begin by harvesting 2 plant in a week or 2. I’m kind of tapped out on this whole posting thing I really was tempted to wait until harvest to do an update . But this is a good journal for me just the same as it is for anywho who stops by so for that reason I’m going to try to stay with it until the end . Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Settimana fantastica, i fiori si stanno gonfiando ad una velocità incredibile, ci sono tricomi ovunque e i pistilli posso dire che mi sembrano decisamente più lunghi delle altre volte, credo dipenda dall'idroponica. Sto notando che va tutto molto più in fretta, avrei potuto tranquillamente tagliare una settimana di vegetativa e avrei avuto gli stessi apicali ma semplicemente più bassi, la prossima volta le giro in fioritura prima da tenerle più basse, ho rischiato la bruciatura da led sugli apicali più alti. Però sono veramente soddisfatto, gli advanced nutrients mi stanno regalando grandi soddisfazioni, le premesse sono di un raccolto assai abbondante, non vedo l'ora! Manca un mese scarso!

Hello, this week and the next ones will be peaceful. It's +-34 days of the girls' life. About 30 more days and we'll switch to flowering. The smell is delicious. I hope that the girls will also give me lush buds. Due to the use of new plant cultivation techniques, I have small concerns about growth, but I hope that my technique will work and I will base on it. (34 days of feminized seeds and the stem at the base has a circumference of 4.5 cm 😁. I should also start fertilization now, but it's already over.
