Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Grandaddy Purple from Blimburn Seeds! She is looking really good this week. She still have a few of the feformed leaves that look wrinkled. From some googling, I would guess either Tobacco Mosaic Virus or just a natural deformity. She a cutting from a previous run and she has it then too. It isn't wide spread and she still put out quality medicine. Even though she wasn't very Grandaddy Purplish, she was still gassy and frosty! Other than the funky leaves, she looks super healthy with her leaves "praying" to the canna-gods! Now, let me nerd out with the deets! LIGHTING: Increased lighting at dimmer last week with good results. Was about 70k LUX on average @ Canopy. Turning it up a bit more this week. 8 Outer Boards @ 665.5w 6 Inner Boards @ 601w LUX APP MAXES OUT READING 78750 LUX @ Canopy. Lets hope its not too much! RHIZOSPHERE: If you didn't tune into the last update, I had just flushed pots due to high PPM runoff. pH of runoff was at 6.3. PPM and pH are tested using 2 separate calibrated BlueLab meters. Day 78, I switched plant #2 to an all PK diet with FloraFlex Full Tilt. She’ll take up the whole 3.5 gals of nutes by Wednesday. I’m then going to begin my 3 day flush Wednesday evening. And I will chop her on Saturday evening. I also took a little sample nug off plant #2 just want to compare non-flushed to flushed weed. Also see how much they shrink in size. Day 79, Plant #2 is on schedule to start flush in 2 days. And I will give her the chop this coming weekend. Going to try a ice flush using frozen water bottles to see if I can help bring out more color. The other plants #1 and #3 are still a two weeks or so away from being chopped. Day 81, started the 3 day flush on Plant #2. And took some more photo shots of her buds and a 360° view video. Day 84, Plant #2 got the chop. Wet weight, before light trim and removing large stems is 760 grams!!! I will update once they finish drying, and then again once I finish the trim and about to jar them for cure. Plants #1 & #3 are still flowering, probably another week or two before they are ready to be chopped.

Not too too much to report... Kind of on Auto Pilot really until the end... The broken top is FINE, and it's looking GREAT man!! I'm sure we're going to get a solid yield... :)

9/2 allowin showing colors finally, getting purple I some fanleaves, she's smelling super sweet like berries 9/4 she's getting so so frosty. Shes growing/budding like a typical sativa. Super Long slender nugs with ridiculous amounts of frost/crystals covering all surrounding sugar leaf. Yet still small and slender actual bud formation. I am very impressed by the resin production so far though. (Sativas always look Impressive(crystals) but lack actual bud structure) Watered and introduced beastie bloomz to the mix instead of open sesame. Hoping to pack on extra weight. On a side note: the clone from this plant is flowering as well. I have limited the addition of most nutrients besides what was already in the soil. Its cool to note that the clone that hasnt been fed flowering nutes like the mother plant has, is lacking in smell, color and resin production, in comparison between feeding with open sesame vs not feeding besides water as needed. Its not surprising but i love seeing the proof

Day 22: Honestly didn't think I would have made it this far. The girls are looking great minus a couple of issues. I have over watered them and over fed too! Not to mention trying to LST too early. I will wait a bit longer before watering this time. Day 23: MORNING - They were super dry. I have been over watering a bit so I watered maybe 1/2 gallon for all 6. I also did some more LST and took 1 large fan leaf off of each plant. I will update again before lights out. Day 23: NIGHT - The girls are responding very well to the LST. I don't think they are liking the 80°. I am starting to have issues with lower humidity again. I need to try and figure some sort of ducting out or possibly even get a small AC unit for the grow room. Day 24: MORNING - I removed a couple more leaves that were covering potential bud sites. I have also done a partial main-line on the smallest girl. It looks to be already showing pistols. I've had to open the tent with a big fan blowing directly in with the humidifier behind it. The girls were getting hot and dry. Day 24: NIGHT - Well 5 are showing to be female. The biggest plant is showing no signs of sex. I am guessing it will be the mystery seed. I will be doing no more LST to these ladies for at least a week or better. I think I have stressed them out enough the past 2 days. Day 25: These girls are very resilient!! I tortured them all weekend and the one I nopped off to do a sort of mainline grew by 20% at least. Day 26: It is the official 3 week mark today and the girls are starting to flower. I tied em down to get light to all bud sights. I will 100% not touch them unless they need it from this point!!!! They are soo small and I need not stunt them any more!! I have removed the Mystery Seed as it looks to be a male and I do not want to take the chance!! Also fed and watered today. Only 200 ppm for the feed. Day 27: Nothing new to report. These girls are gonna be tiny :| I must've stressed em too much too soon :( Looking good though I think! 💪 Day 28: I never do what I say. Dumb! Broke main stem on one of the best plants. Taking it as a lessons learned. It's been two hours and she looks SICK! Oh well.

Accidentally "topped" her by hard LST... Way she goes. I top dressed this week with 50/50 Gaia green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4... 😊😊 Things seem to be looking great! Can't wait for flower to come on hard!

This plant has been full of surprises this week lol. First I found spider mites! Then I found a little powdery mildew 🤬🤬 Well.... now that the bad news is out of the way how about some good news. She is starting to really fatten up. The smell of this girl is fantastic😎 It really smells better by the day!! 🤪 She has been yellowing out a bit quickly as of late so I may need to add a bit more feather meal and kelp meal to her top dressing routine. I may also add some cal-mag to a watering here and there as needed. I have some predatory mites and ladybugs coming soon so the spider mites time is running out🤨. As for the powdery mildew, I will have to spray her every 3-4 days with greencure to keep it from invading my precious flowers. Greencure is an outdoor farmers best bud!! (Pun intended). I’ve been in this battle before. It comes with the territory when growing in a greenhouse outdoors. Sit back and enjoy y’all. I’ll get this lady to the finish line. 😎🍿
