Grand Daddy Purple auto is doing well. She has stretched a little more, and looks like she is debating about going into bulking soon. She does have a little nute burn that has been there since at least last week. Still looking really good. She is starting to develop a smell, but I can't pinpoint it yet to what exactly. It's kinda faint at the moment. Everything is looking good. Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of flowering. Things are going good in here. Plant #1 has it's brown spots back. The plants had both a watering and feeding this week. I think I will grow these plants to 9 weeks of flowering. I need to have these plants finished and harvested by the time the other tent is ready to cut down at week 10. So I like to flush before harvest. This is the last week of food for these beautiful girls. More about flushing next week. Chuck.

Day 47 and I switched ferts completely. I wanted to find something besides 20 additives so I'm trying jack's. Old timers know what they are talking about and swear by this stuff. They are responding great to it already in 2 days!! So easy too. I also changed bulbs from a well known brand to a denkyu bulb. This bulb is awesome and is way brighter. Not sure why neither one of my blackberry have turned any color.

Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer. Updates will be coming throughout the week!

As of day 25 things are going well. As I point out in the video, I had a mishap while tieing down the left stem of the mainline. It snapped most of the way through. I left it alone for a few days and then carefully trained her back down. She seems fine, maybe a little bit stunted but not bad. The wounded area is thickening up nicely. She has a very faint smell, but is is the piney aroma of northern lights. Update: Mid-week I discovered that I was underwatering, causing slow growth, and possibly nutrient deficiencies. This may be the cause of the brown tips and edges on the largest leaves. Hopefully I have it fixed from here on out. At least I know to be aware of it. I'm new to fabric pots and they dry out way faster than plastic or even ceramic.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Week three of flower is off to an amazing start! At day 22, the ladies are looking incredibly healthy. They're praying like crazy, reaching for the light, and stacking nodes like it's their job. The buds are starting to plump up, and the trichome production is getting intense. I'm so excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks!

17.3.25: I've starred a Hulkberry auto. This was the first pack of seeds I bought! I realised it was mostly sativa, but now I'm ready to give it a go! Made my soil mix, which I will update next week. It's been a beautiful plant to grow, I thought she was gonna be a little bigger, however she has produced an amazing quality flowers, very sticky, terpy and stinky, the citric aroma it's absolutely wonderful just because of that I could grow her again and again. You definitely need to try this strain if you lovd weed.💚🌱🤤
