Wow these girls look beautiful! So there was a malfunction a few weeks back with the biscotti gelato and I had to harvest it early, it bent over and well couldn't be saved which I know I would have come out amazing just as these did! I will be harvesting any day now!

Figuring out how to use this new microscope. Thinking harvest is this weekend. Day 130: just pictures. Maybe some amber? Definitely harvesting this weekend. Still concerned it’s sister in soil is a week behind. Day 131: I spy some amber. Is it time to harvest? Day 132: just pictures. Still figuring out the microscope. Sometimes hard to decide if the trichome is cloudy or just out of focus.

starting to see some crowning. nice stretching going on. very happy with how it's all going (except for the wyze camera timelapse, which still stops working halfway through the week) I do have some weird stuff going on with one plant, I'll post some pictures, if anyone has any advice. the only thing I can really find online that looks like this is tobacco mosaic disease, but I don't think it's that. maybe this one plant had a little extra stress or something. I have some of that mosaic looking pattern. it's showing up mostly on one plant, and like two leaves on one other plant. maybe calmag defiency? i guess it can kind of look like that, and my RO system was down for a week or two so I had to use tap water, and to keep EC consistent that meant less nutes for a week or two (that was taken up by the tap water EC of like 150). anyway, super excited. wish i had more to do, but it's pretty much just riding it out at this point. was crazy busy with work this week, i wanted to have got in a good defoliation already but I will get to that this weekend. going to remove everything below a certain point, all the lower leaves and the lower nodes that aren't going to make it to the top. probably going to put a trellis net up as i don't think they are going to be able to support their own weight once they start to really stack. i may do one or two final foliar sprays, all organic stuff, but one last IPM and maybe one amino acid / coconut water / aloe / bloom boost after the defoliation, just to help them bounce back quickly as i'm going to be removing a lot of biomass. all that is organic and there are barely flowers on so i'm not worried about it. getting such a strong lemon scent off these already, skunk is starting to come in. can't wait to get some real flowers on them and for the terps to develop. i'm not going to judge yet, but i think if i was to run these again i wouldn't do quadline. quadline was super interesting to me when I first started growing, but after having a bunch of grows under my belt, really i think my preference is to mostly let them grow natural, maybe supercropping the main cola, but my favorite grows have been the ones i did the least amount of hard training on. not sure why i decided to quadline this run, but i'm happy with the even canopy so it's all good

Day 43. Girls will get heavy training later today. They grow ... and because of that i had to move 3 Kushes to other tent and i will make separate diary for theirs flowering time. 3 Auto Blue Tooth by Real Gorilla Seeds took theirs place. After todays training i will give them 4-5 days to recover and will send them to flower hopefully on sunday after 24 hours of darkness. Skunks grow bigger plants, than Cheeses, despite theirs quickest germination and obvious lead in first 3 weeks or so ... Day 46. 3 days left to flower, finally made heavy training, way too busy for LST grows... but result is good, girls hopefully will show off in bloom ! Day 47. Girls loved training, 2 more days, 24 hours darkness and tuesday latest flowering starts. Got full feed of Biobizz, feed charts updated. Next feed = water + silica. Happy Growing !!!

Día 15. Las plantas ya alcanzaron un altura muy buena. Ya empiezan a aparecer los primeros pelos blancos. Por el momento me ha sorprendido la reacción de las plantas al bud blood. Si puedo voy a comprar bud candy para ayudar un poco a la mezcla. Por el momento decidí mantener el bud blood a media dosis durante una semana más con el big bud. Veremos que tal resulta. Día 17. El estirón siguió y las plantas alcanzaron 51 cm. Las pequeñas directamente quedaron tapadas. En este experimento se puede ver la diferencia entre tierra e hidroponia. La verdad que estoy sorprendido. Creo que los productos usados son los que han marcado la diferencia. Las plantas quintuplicaron la altura total que tenían al momento de pasarlas a floración. Y sospecho que van a seguir estirándose una semana más. Espero no tener problemas de altura porque no lo planeaba. Creo que voy a cortar algunas ramas bajas más, dado que se están generando muchas sombras nuevas. Seguiré actualizando. Día 19. El estiramiento continua, pero levemente. Ya alcanzaron 55cm. Estuve cortando algunas ramas y hasta supongo que podría cortar más. Pero a esta altura ya todo lo que hay recibe buena luz. La diferencia entre la madre que está en tierra y los esquejes en hidroponia, es cada vez más notoria. Si bien ya la he visto, tener una planta al lado de la otra bajo la misma luz, hace la parte alevosa de todo esto. De todos modos, he comprobado que el sabor obtenido en tierra, es más fiel al de la hidroponia. En hidroponia en principio, las plantas son mas fuertes en todo, pero el sabor de alguna forma, es demasiado afectado por los nutrientes. Incluso habiendo lavado dos o tres semanas, la planta sostiene un sabor constante en todas las variedades, que parece estar atado a la nutrición. Siendo que en tierra, cada variedad tiene su sabor distintivo, siendo una distinta de otra. La próxima actualización será en la nueva semana, ya que al quedar poca solución, la voy a cambiar antes y voy a poner 12 litros en lugar de los 10 que vengo usando. Las plantas vienen comiendo mucho.

Day 100 Day 57 Flower 06/07/24 Saturday Flushed with de-chlorinated tap water today pH 6.0. Flushing using 10L of water with Flawless finish- I'll be using this every other flush. , getting 50% run off, I can't measure ppm, I have ordered the tool to start learning this way also. I haven't measured run off ppms before so will be interesting to see. Smelling pungent, deep greens of colour coming through, hoping over the next 2 weeks she swells as she is not as dense as I was hoping 😅 Day 10day 58 Flower 07/07/24 Sunday No feed /water today letting her dry off a little more. Lots of bud sites are visible and already developing. I've also spot some first sugar. However, I've also managed to snap the main stem on the Gelato plant, not completely. February 20, 2019 update: Pretty much just waiting to be ready for harvest. Everything is moving along nicely at this point. Planning on feeding until the end of February, then starting a 2 week flush with most of the plants going in the flower room now, but I may let the Cookies & Cream go a little longer. Fed MegaCrop, Cal+Mag Pro and Mammoth P this week. I've used up the last of my Mammoth P at this point. It will be MegaCrop & Cal+Mag Pro only until flush. All pics were taken with the lights on. I tried color correcting the best I could, but the pics really don't represent the actual colors very well. Usually I try to get some pics with the lights off also, but I was not able to do that last week. I'll make sure to get some better pics next time. 👍

The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots.
