Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

So far so good. Today, on 23/8, I fed her with Biobizz Grow for the first time. I think she's been growing at a decent pace even without any fertilizers, so, in order to not risk nute burn, I used a smaller dose than what BioBizz recommends. 27/8 The newer leaves seem as if they are curling up a little bit. Might be because the light is very low. So, I have raised the light a little bit. Let's see how she responds. put on new lights that are more suitable for the veg phase. ------------------- 28/8 So I posted a question regarding a Spot that appeared on one of the leaves. By mistake I selected an answer that might not be adequate to my situation. GrowDiaries does not let you change the selected answer so I am copy-pasting the correct answer here. Bostongirl17 was right because I did spray some Neem Oil on the plant because there were mosquitoes in my room and i even saw a little spider. So it could be that a bigger droplet fell on the leaf and caused that blemish/spot. Bostongirl17: If it’s growing with the leaf- and not at a faster rate. It’s probably just a blemish. Is it possible you splashed them with your nutrients during feeding? 🌱 ----------------------

21/10 - 30 days, 75 cm, tied

I lollipop them today!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁 It's their 37 day and they just started getting into Flower and getting taller so I Lollipoped them and did a little bit of defoliation so the light will get to the bit lower buds sites since I did some LST in a bit later stage which went incredible. But it meant some buds sites are big but still a bit lower in comparison so I didn't take them out of course. And i did some SCroG but took it out the day before the lollipop and we'll see if the girls are fine I will put it back in 2 days or so depending on the plant growth

This week was fun, had nutrient lockout on the one plant some signs on others. Decided to flush from the top with two plants which is a terrible idea with autopots; the minerals build up in the soil and all I did was wash them down. The plant that was looking the worse had some lower branches die after this so I cut them out. Reached out to autopot and they were a huge help, flushed from the Rez and then brought my nutrients way down. I only just got an ec meter but I was at 3200 ppm when I started the flush and 150 by the time I added nutrients back in. The two plants that I flushed from the top aren’t in great shape but they’re still alive, only 2 more weeks to go so hopefully this didn’t have too much of an impact on quality!

Fast Buds Wedding Glue Auto Day 25 from sprout Light: ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Watering top and bottom every other day to every 2 days Growing in Natures Living Soil Autoflower mix with happy frog. I will honestly say I am very pleased that this wedding glue is starting to take off! It did take it this long to build its root system but I am happy. I think it may take this girl another week to 2 weeks to enter pre flower. Because she is the "runt" of the 4 plants in my 4x4 I will probably give minimal training for this run. Still did not get to smoke it, will let it cure for a few weeks. Many of the lower buds were very fluffly, in total there was around 140G dry, but around 40 grams will be kept with trim for cooking maybe. So 100 grams dry flower is pretty sweet outcome.

Going great on these last 2 girls. Got some wind burn on the one when my oscillation decided to stick on my fan for awhile before I noticed what was going on. No biggy, live and learn. Lol still got a lot of giant buds here. There starting to look ready soon. one still needs some time but the smaller one was cut and is drying with her sister. Only one to go, she still needs a few more days and I have left it in dark for a few days to see if there will be any noticeable difference. Cheers 💨

12/22/2021 Starting the over night soak in H2O2 water, then onto soil mix to finish germination. Soaking in H2O2 and water, about an ounce h2o2 mixed with .500ml spring water. It aids in breaking down seed shell, and sanitize seeds at the same time. I will sow directly into soil as breeder suggest. 12/25/2021 All I5 seeds sprouted in water little 1-2 mm tap roots, potted into small cups and reppot as necessary, should get 100% germ rate if I don't hurt them tiny tap roots putting them in soil. 12/28/2021 Lemon OG 100% germ rate, Biscotti Skunk 4 of 5, Grape Skunk 4of5,and I will take the blame if others don't take because of miss handling, so very happy with the germination rate I'll give it 100% Thanks @QCS for given me the opportunity to grow your genetics.🙏🏻 Ps. But feminized information was all they had on website,assuming it's all the same.
