All the plants will be in the generative 3 phase of flower this week. I've updated the nutrients section for the week to show what the are being fed. I'm still feeding 3 gallons per plant daily. The number 3 plant is a few days behind the other two so it will get the Generative 2 feed, in the nutrients section for week 12, a few days this week.The two short plants have slowed their feeding way down on day 3 this week. The organic nutrients have a tendency to build up in the soil. Day 3 the two short plants got tap water. I'll wait til some of the leaves lighten up before I feed again. Day 4 the two short plants got fed. They didn't seem to be hurting for nutes but the leaves appeared to be losing color and the buds are still filling out. I had been feeding everyday until day 3. Day 5 and 6 the short plants got tap water and the tall one got the nutrients formula. Day 7 this week, the tallest and one of the short plants were fed the listed nutrient formula. There was no change in height this week. The tallest is 87.5 inches the two shorter ones 62 inches. I believe the two shorter plants will enter generative phase four/ripening next week. They are getting super frosty.

Started abit of low stress training

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. D49 The Purps is rocking. I hope she's near done with the stretch as she's now approaching 40" tall. She's got a ton of bud sites and they're all plumping up and getting frosty. She's been pretty hungry and thirsty, demanding 3 litres of water almost every day. Her PPMs have been running in the low 900s with stable PH. She's due for a rez change and will get one tomorrow after 2-weeks of top-ups. Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I don't think I will use topping again on the lady because I should slowly blossom with a few other women :-) think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days for Flowering 👍. Glad to see them start filling out. I started giving compost tea and molasses in between feeding and watering once a week. At this point I'm trying to slowly raise ppm without getting nute burn. They are barely putting put smell. I'm guessing the buds will be significantly bigger next weeks update.

Freaked out this week cause I couldn't smell the plants anymore. Turns out I caught covid, yay! Not much content because I was resting up mostly. Getting plants ready for chop, many seed packs say you can chop by week 8 of flower - that's actually the earliest one can harvest. If given the time like a home grow, one can wait 1-2 weeks longer to harvest. Also in the cases of sativas like mine, they can flower for up to 12-16 weeks.

Big week here. Got the girls transplanted to their 7 gallon pots. First time with pots this big. Gonna really let them grow. Got a little water with BT and mycorrhiza.

What up gromies. I'm back here to put this diary to rest with a harvest and smoke report. After 14 day dry and 30+ day cure these flowers are ready for enjoyment. Purple Cookies from GFS grew short and compact finishing in just 9 weeks from seed to harvest. No sign of purple in this pheno but would you look at the quality here? Amazing structure and trichome production. Everything that I've grown from Ganja farmer seeds has been really impressive. I will continue growing their genetics.👊😁💨
