Harvest Day 100 Strong Tropical Aroma

The week went well. She has a funk to her now that as soon as I kill the fan it smacks you right in the face. Some of the pistils are beginning to amber. Just waiting for her to fatten up and finish. I believe this will be my biggest producing auto yet.

Sour diesel and northern lights are ready to be chopped. I will put them in the basement in the dark for at least a day before I cut them down. The clone from the expert haze had to be tossed because I found spider mites on it and then found them on my expert haze plant outdoors. I shouldn’t have brought the clone inside, oops I will not be making another clone of this plant. I have found caterpillars all over everything and didn’t want to spray the buds with pesticides so every day a couple of times a day I would remove them. They eat a lot so I don’t have as much production at harvest. I will be more aggressive with the expert haze with pest control.

Day 34: Watered with first dose of flowering nutrients (1ml B, 1ml SR). ***I’m gonna break character here for a few mins. If that messes with anyone’s head because you are so deep into the storyline, then you can just pretend this is the director talking. I really wasn’t liking the look of the plant. There was loads of leaves with big very long stems. If it was earlier in the summer I would just put it outside and start another one inside. I don’t have that luxury so I’ll just have to see how it goes. I done some serious defoliation, removing more than 20 leaves. I’m not holding out much hope for a big yield. Day 37: Watered with just PH’d water. Day 39: Watered with Nutrients (1ml B, 1ml SR) ***Character break again. I saw the plant today for the first time in six days. More leaves are after growing big long stems. The few flowers on this plant are topping away nicely. It looks like 3 good bud sites maybe and 2 smaller ones. I have a Rhino Ryder in a 4ltr pot growing next to this Skywalker which looks like it will produce a bigger yield. Either way we have to just see what happens. I’ll hand you back to Luke now for the rest of the grow. Day 40: Continued to use the Force to make the plant grow. This place is really starting to remind me of my time training with Master Yoda on Dagobah. Removed a few leaves with long stems.

Wednesday - Day 123 9 October 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 61.1 PPM - Add 5 ml Cal-Max - 258 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.50 PH at 258 PPM Runoff - 0.6 litres at 6.48 PH at 1,070 PPM - She’s fading a little more. - On track ti’ll the end. Thursday - Day 124 10 October 24 - Just a day under the lights. - Slowly continuing to fade. - All is looking great. - She’s just recently started giving off some really nice odours. Friday - Day 125 11 October 24 - Just a day under the lights. - Few more leaves have fallen off. - We’re doing it!! Saturday - Day 126 12 October 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 61.1 PPM - Add 3.75 ml Cal-Max - 210 PPM - Add 1 tsp seaweed extract - 332 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.41 PH at 345 PPM Runoff - 0.7 litres at 6.21 PH at 1,120 PPM - About an other dozen leaves have fallen off on their own. Last two plants are flushing now. My stunted mango smile yielded about 36 g which I made about 7g of rosin from and kept a few nugs. My first sour crinkle yielded about 55g. They seem like they will yield much more. Seems like if you want smaller faster plants use airpots or bigger plants w a longer lifecycle do fabric pots.

Its done! Even though I expected a higher yield, I'm happy with my first harvest. It could have gone worse. Got 61 grams of the biggest plant, it took eternities, but the yield is pretty decent for a first grow. Thanks WSE! Next up will be Strawberry kush and Harlequin.

week 3 of the flowering stage of MD XXL 🙌 1 of the 3 is realy not doing good and is yellowing alot, i dont know why this is, i think its heat stress combined with nutrient deficiency but im not 100% sure. I think shes doing better since i went from 3ml/l alga bloom to 4ml/l and adding 1ml/l green sensation to it. Other 2 MD XXLs are doing just fine, 😉 its still very hot where i live, around 30 degrees celcius every day, global warming all the way... i wonder what my harvest amount will be! For the people in the Grow Questions, i dont check PH/TDS simply because my budget couldnt sustain the equipment, ill get it next grow. Also the alga grow/bloom line from plagron states that you dont need to check PH levels because the algae in the nutrients will regulate it apparently, I also choose NOT to defoliate since i read alot of different stuff about it. I think i just let nature do its way and only remove those bad fans blocking my beautiful buds 👹
