Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! Week 3 = Defoliation!

Progress for the week. The clones have arrived! They were on the way for almost 2 days. This is the first time I'm raising clones, let's see how it goes. Left tray will have Feno 1, right tray Feno 2. Vega (18/6), days: 7 Total, days: 7 Ec 2.15 (Athena bloom, grow, Core, Cleanse, Balance) Ph 6 Red 40% Blue 55% UV 5% DLI ~26 T. Day: ~25C T. Night: ~22C Humidity: ~62% T.leaf: 22C VPD: 0.68kPa Already 5-6 nodes, I will do topping after 10-11 nodes. Some leaves have damage, most likely some roots were damaged during delivery and the plants are recovering. The first 4 days I gave Bloom (recommended by Athena) and then I started giving Grow. I add a decent amount of blue light, because this variety stretches out a lot.

This lovely girl is just getting more and more beautiful. She is packed with buds that are swelling very well. They are nice and sticky to touch.

👻👻👻 Reminder : 👻👻👻 So, I created the diary the 15th of september, I wrotte every previous informations on paper then on a word sheet. I reallized that I got everything to create a diary here, so I did it. I should maybe try to end this first grow without buying any fertilizer and keep going with my home made receips (taken from several sources and reading). I think I will do some fun experiments on a following diary. It is well known, dwarves don't run fast, so next batch will be 3 quick one from royal queen seeds, with smart pot and coco ideas i had. It will be fun an probably in 3-4 weeks (I plane to harvest my dwarves a little bit later around week 11, but I don't know, I have to check trichomes, they will give me the answer.)🙌💩So from week (8) we are in *LIVE* mode for this diary. Hello elves (you are the elves, you reading me). Smiles are allowed (this is unfair you smoke your plants so you have a strong adventage) while reading. Orcs are the pests and desease attacking the dwarves (the 3 plants)👻👻👻 👉 I've cut every branches, it was an amazing experience : My dwarves killed the orcs, they survived and escape from this AMAZING journey. They where really impossible to kill. They suffered from : Overwatering, over defoliation, nutrients burn, probably root rot, to much heat (more than 30 degree for some days), a too small pot... And they smell like : 😅😇😇😇 a wounderfull smell. I did all the "noob" mistakes basically but I learned so much. I started to feed them with home made nutrients and ended to use biobizz really at the end. I don't know what was the best for those dwarves but they made it. I will update this diary with a video and will give in 1-2 weeks the weight dry, I am really curious about it, I left really no branches, they are like ready to be in a jar. So: 👉 The famous 3/3 with amazing colors gave me : 38 gr. wet 👉 The famous 2/3 gave me : 34 gr. wet 👉 The famous 1/3 gave me : 30-31 gr. wet The harvest seems not amazing, I don't know how much weight I may loose by drying (I kept really only the heads). For a first grow, I am happy, because I simply made it. I know that it is now a growing experience, like those wounderfull amazing plants. And I learned a lot. Allready excited to launch a second harvest. A matter of time actually. It was fast, joyfull, stressfull, great to do it. 2024-06-22 Yesterday i had to Harvest them, weather was very bad . The are having tropical Climate in the raintime, very Humid and rainy, sometimes changes to cold and windy so very bad Season until now. They would have needed 7 days more to ripe perfect. But they started to mold. so i harvested them quickly, and sorted out all moldy stuff this is very sad. Buds are more open and supersticky. you can see with eyesight the loooong and dense Trichomes, iam going to add more Pics if they are cured and i add some Pics from the microscope. i give this Strain 8 from 10 Points for Outdoor Growing, because of their tendency to catch mold , despite the fct they were under a Roof, But yeah we had avery cold, rainy and humid Season i really like to grow them again, but indoors!!! because of their Juicyness

Still a few weeks for this girl. There are the first signs of orange hairs on her buds. I've cleared excess leaves below the canopy and any buds that are to small to be worth her or my effort, I'd rather she plumped and fattened up what buds she already has. I've also chopped away and widen her spread total any blocking of "worth the effort" buds. Supercropping has paid off, giving more room and of course, no effect to the girl whatsoever.

Place these seeds in the paper towel literally 24hrs later the tap roots were nice and long. I then placed them in jiffy pods and within 24 hours this is how they looked. So far amazing from what I see. Shout out to fast buds!!! This will be ram in the growace Aircube system.

Whats going on ladies and gents we on the start of week 3 !! CH#2 did not make the cut so she has been removed from the tent and replaced with a mystery strain in the dome that will be revealed soon enough ! That being said CH#1 has been turned into a cloning project for future breeding projects that I have lined up . We are boosting up the nutrients from 0.5 ml/l to 1.0 ml/l CH#1 is responding well to the nutrient regime she is just really stretched out but I will be transplanting her soon enough and that problem will be fixed . Other then that no real complaints from this cat this week , just sailing it smooth . A big thank you to everyone who comes out and checks out the diary . I was a couple days late this week getting back to where this....the autopot reservoir was just under 50 litres, this isnt enough pressure to feed the plants the furthest away from the res, i caught it early so there shouldnt be any problems but will be more mindful now
