To me the ladies always look so small but they grow at an impressive pace. I’m in love with those nutrients, is my first full organic grow and Guanokalong is impressive, I never seen a similar root development, I transplant the plant from a 0,5L pot to a 1,5l and in 3 day I moved them again to the final 20L Plastic pot because already clogged. Hello Friends and followers and new visitors welcome to week 13. 7/30-8/5 Goddesses are doing well. I'm seeing new pistils on some buds throughout the plants. 7/30 pictures videos and ferigate day. Each received 2 liters. Tps1 made at 2 gallon formula. Tps1 22.5ml Signal 9 ml Ec 1.14, cm 1140, ppm 790, ph 5.94. Added 2.5 ml ph up. This raised ph to 7.02 7/31 it's been so hot here lately. I made a lemon icebox pie. Very easy 10 min prep time but a 7 hour wait for chilling. It is refreshing on a hot day. Recipe in week 4 Of my recipe diary. It's infuseable if you make your own crust. 8 /1 took some close ups of the goddesses buds. I'm seeing lots of milky but no amber tricomes at 13 weeks 8/2 Fertilized the Goddesseswith 1 1/2 ltr fertilizer water. 8/3 flushed 1gallon followed by 1 liters fertilizer water. 8/4 no water or fertilizer. Opened tent to let in fresh air. 8/5 Busy today. The ladies in the Goddess tent went outside for their hair cuts. Lots of defoliation. I took off most 3 leaf feeder fans from both Gaia and Circe. Cleaned up cream caramel for the dry leaves. Interesting on Circe, every bud location had a single leaf feeder leaf of course with the three and 5 leaf sugar leaves as well Gaia did not have the single leaf feeder. Checked tricomes in top, middle and bottom buds. It looks like 90% milky. Ferigate 30ml Tps1, Signal 12, cal mag 20. Each lady received 3 ltrs. So, as it goes, I'm still going through boxes of Moms papers. In week 1, I told you about my grandfather establishing a homestead in Wyoming in 1906. Saturday, I came across the original land rights document issued from the President of United States, Warren G Harding, in 1923 to my grandfather. Stipulations of the Homestead act required that the owner make improvements and live there a certain number of years. All of the conditions were met. Let me tell you. Wyoming is dry and windy like a desert but cold. Noone wants to live there even now. The courage and fortitude required to uproot and establish a new life in an uncharted territory was passed on to my mother. Having attended several schools and colleges, she settled in Connecticut and went to Teachers College. After graduating, she signed up with the US State Department to teach overseas. When I emptied out her apartment when she died in 2020, I came across some of the exact books that I had purchased, and still have, in my quest for spiritual truths. The universal pursuit of man's higher purpose and the universal spiritual truths are reflected in my family letters. The pervasive topics were the war and the international conflicts resulting from one nation's desire to oppress and control, and through spiritual pursuits, the dream for world peace.

Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like they’re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and I’m at a loss for what to do. I’ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know what’s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I don’t think the problem is genetic. It’s definitely root bound but that doesn’t cause contorted new growth like that. I’ve concluded that it’s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight I’m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until it’s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. I’m also going to give it a light defoliation. I don’t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I won’t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since it’s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I can’t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) I’ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be what’s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that I’m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be what’s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. I’m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I don’t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. It’s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. I’m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something I’ve been reading about called ‘soil compaction’. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they don’t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and it’s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didn’t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and I’m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I can’t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but it’s worth a shot. I’ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. I’m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think it’s the mystery problem. I’ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess I’ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I won’t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but aren’t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when they’re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called ‘paclobutrazol’ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldn’t have to pay people as much to trim it. I’ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. I’m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. 🤷‍♂️ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. It’s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that I’m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and it’s indeed under watered. I’m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I don’t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. I’m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

Day 78 19/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated tap water today, pH 6 with calmag 7.5ml to 5L water. Updated with short video. I'm waiting on the lime to finish so I can flip these. So this is last week of veg for her, seriously 🤣✌️💚 Great growth and recovery from last week's final topping and lollipop. Can't wait to flip, the smell she is starting to produce already as just the base plant is beautiful. Did all final topping this week on all tops 😁👌 Allowing recovery before flip Day 79 Transition week for flower (Flip Week) 20/07/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today, she took 5L with 1L run off. Applied heavy LST as she won't fit in tent otherwise when finished!! Day 81 22/07/24 Monday Big feed today using the flower nutes now. De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients. Checked pH again 6.2 after 20mins. I use advanced nutrients pH perfect for anyone asking. Noticed sex already, she is throwing out female pistils already 🤯 only flipped Friday 19/07/24. Smell is becoming more noticeable now. Glad she is now in the tent. Will update pictures tomorrow 😁✌️💚 Day 82 23/07/24 Tuesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only, 4L -minor small amount run off. She is getting thirsty 😅 Recovery this week is awesome from final topping I did last week. Taken the scrog netting down so I can move my girls around at this late stage in in week 6 flower tomorrow will be the start of week 7 and I'll be putting all these girls in flush so wen there getting copped the will be 8 and a half weeks so next week she's been flushed happy days

7/1/23 - Day 19 I do water changes weekly. The new weeks start off with a water change. Water changes always scare me, it's the mixing of nutes and balancing the PH. It sounds easy in theory but in practice you want to interfere with the PH asap. But I was able to let the LEAF box empty the water, I filled it up with RO water, LEAF then dosed all my nutes. After that i came in a PH balanced it. (PH balance is something LEAF will be able to do, but there was a bug in the software so instead of having LEAF dose the PH i decided to do it manually for now. The Roots are INSANE! I bet by time I'm done there will be 1+ gallons of water displaced by the roots. I almost started cutting her lower leaves at the base, but I decided to let them grow for a bit. If they grow out some more i will be able to scrogg them and then cut the leaves below after they are trained up a bit. The lights have kicked on and everything looks in order. The plant looks great too, she might be in a small amount of WTF because of all the PH changes but i think the drastic changes were kept to a minimum. She looks happy. As always ill update you tomorrow. 7/3/23 - Day 21- I trimmed some of the lower leaves on the bottom, I'm leaving her bushy still, I won't want to cut any more branches if I can, I need the branches from the bottom to reach the sides of the Scrogg net. In the next couple of days being apple to Scrogg and stretch her while Shes still moldable. 7/5/23 - Day 23 - I added some training lines to some of the branches. I need them to be as spread out as possible going into the Scrogg net. I'm a big fan of not trimming too much as she grows. I don't mind there being some foliage down below. I will cut as needed if it looks like the lower areas are sprouting too much of the little leaves, but for the most part, I let nature do its thing. She's drinking a ton of water now. I am getting my RO water dropped off by the five gal loads. I just got the membrane for my RO150 unit that I plan on having up and running within a couple of weeks so I can start making my own water. 7/6/23 - Day 24 - I added a picture of my RO water setup. It cannot be set up permanently, so this was a great solution. You can see how I was able to tie my branches down, next time I will drill a few holes on the side of the pot. This is a great solution for anyone looking to Scrogg and manage the vertical height. Also, you can see on the top branch there was some pulling, so much so that it started to pull the plant and it created a small lump. All good but just goes to show how pliable these plants are. What up fam, weekly update on these lovely ladies. I put the scrog net out this week for support and am I glad I did. Only after a couple days they grew right through it. The greenhouse is 6'5 feet tall and they're pushing 5'6. I'll go in there and take off some of the lower fan leafs at the bottom but not to much defoliation needed. I'm seeing preflowers so I'll also switch the nutes from grow to bloom. All in all Happy Growing.

this plant is in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil and will get straight de chlorinated tap water til week two veg.

And then there was 3. Placed one bomb in my tent with my Rez in darkness for a few days. Then I will harvest. Other 2 (Charlotte and Bomb) are still going with sensi A and B, bud candy, overdrive. Orange bud is just water now. Will be cutting in a few days Day 102. Cut bomb Finished drying both Charlotte's that were harvested last week. Haven't weighed them yet. But they are both in jars curing.

The drying process lasted 14 days and I'm in the 2nd week of curing, I've already tried some buds and neither the smell nor the taste are great, the taste and smell of both phenotypes is lemon.

Both plants are producing an abundance of tricome, they are also starting to swell. Nose is very pungent, not strains you want to grow if you are looking to be low key.

15th day into flowering- Trim some Fan leaves /anything cover canopy. 18TH DAY FLOWER- LOLI POPPING. JUST WATER EVERY 3 DAYS PH 6.5

**** Week 13 growth - February 27 to March 5, 2021 - Week 4 Flower ***** These girls are looking a little more different as we get further in flower. Pheno 1 is starting to swell more this week and here leaves are a nice rich green colour. Pheno 2 on the other hand has lighter leaf colour but is reacting less favourable to the amount of nitrogen and clawing down at the end of the week. It could be that she is also reacting worse to the increased light intensity this week. The frost production on Pheno 1 is also coming out more now. These two girls seems a little more reactionary to nutrient levels. Light intensity increased this week. Pushed up to 525 watts and then to 550 watts at the end of the week. This got the a little hot by the end of the week though. Working with a new light and finding the sweet spots takes a run or two. Learning how the girls grow anyway so the whole run is a lot of learning......its all good😀 Nutrients were pushed a little at the end of last week and the start of this week so backing off a bit more again. Given that they were pushed with light intensity they started showing some signs of nutrient issues. It’s good though as there is reaction time and back off to plain water feed for a couple of days at the end of the week and into week 5. Week 5 is going to be the start of the last stage of flower feed and work with that for two weeks, then stop feeding at the end of week 6........the plan so far anyway. Little more detail....... Feb 27/21 - Day 22 - big feed day - all IPP line plus silica @ 1ml, CalMag @ 1ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml, enzymes @ 1.5ml - 1650ppm and 6.1pH - 4L Feb 28/21 - Day23 - Microbe day but also added some CalMag - Natures Candy @ 1.5ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal, Magnifical @ 1.5ml, Micro @ 1ml, Bloom 1.5ml, Terpinator @ 2ml - 950 ppm and 6.0pH - 3L - leaf colour almost looks light today. Mar 1/21 - Day 24 - dry out day. Mar 2/21 - Day 25 - plain water - 300ppm and 6.1 ph - 4L - light power pushed up to 550 watts today. - (too much from 16” to 20”........note!!) Mar 3/21 - Day 26 - plain water with two suppliiments - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 2ml. - 525ppm & 6.0pH - 4L - stripped some leaves today......sticky in the middle😃😃👍👍 Mar 4/21 - Day 27 - no water added today - light power reduced today 450 watts. - been going too hard with intensity. Seeing leaf curl on other girls in the tent. - joys of diagnosing cannabis😂 - starting with backing off light and reduce ppm going in but not the ml👍 Mar 5/21 - Day 28 - hit with microbes again to help with stresses. - recharge @ 1 tsp/gal, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 375ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Moving right along we are through 4 weeks now and moving past the middle of flower.
