D71/F23 - 11.29 - Maybe didn't love the defoliation, but looking ok. No discoloration or anything, just a little slower to start chunking up than its neighbors. <3 D73/F26 - 12.1 - The 3x3 9lb seems to have done better with the defoliation, but after I fed with a bit of molasses, found some fungus gnats flying around. Have traps and diatomaceous earth down, so we should nip this pretty quickly. D74/F27 - 12.2 - A little concerned about this one cola whose top pistils seem curled compared to the other on the plant. Take a look and let me know if this is normal or not. All my mature fungus gnats have been trapped, not seeing anymore buzzing around. I suppose the larva could still do a little damage for now? D76/F29 - 12.4 - Doing fine in the 4x5 tent :)

31.01. F29 Overall, everything is still running according to plan, although powdery mildew is starting to become more noticeable again. Control measures remain consistent and ongoing. Compared to the previous Super Buff Cherry run, the situation is much better under control, mainly because countermeasures are being applied earlier and more actively this time. The goal is to get the mildew issue fully resolved in the coming weeks. Aside from that, the Blueberry Skunks are performing exceptionally well. The automatic irrigation system clearly contributes to stable, low-stress growth, and the Biotabs nutrient system continues to impress. The difference compared to earlier runs is very noticeable, especially considering how little manual input is required. All in all, this is a solid run, and despite the mildew challenge, it already creates a lot of anticipation for the harvest.

***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊

We can notice more fat colas since i opend plant structure. Temperature is lower this week, so i had to water with 8l per day, despite 10l as were usual. Branches are full of hairs, and flowers are starting to grow. As you can see plant suffered smooth nutrient burn, but she is not affected, this was like 1-2 weeks ago, i think i gave her too much TopBloom, then i lowered dosis to 2ml/l + BioGrow, but yesterday watered with TB 4ml/l and she looks happy. ---

We are in week 6 since this was planted, She is getting taller and bigger for everyweek... I am not sure how long it will take til she hits flower, but I guess the summer sun is still giving her enough to be confident that she doesnt need her flowers yet.

Day 78 Day 28 flower 19/07/24 Friday Started the week with a good watering as she had a double feed end of last week. She took 4L de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 and no run off, added another 1L and see run off forming on all sides. She is a happy, strong 💪 plant !! The buds development is nice on this strain! I like to see the calyxes stacked like this, I'll get some macros tomorrow. Smelling like lemon sherbet it's insane 🤯 or a old school sweety shop. Day 79 Day 29 flower 20/07/24 Saturday Nothing to report. Day 80 Day 30 Flower 21/07/24 Sunday Big feed again, de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients. Seeing her stack now 🤩 Smells getting stronger daily 🙌 💚 Added a short video. Day 81 Day 31 Flower 22/07/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap water only today pH 5.9 and watered in 5L had a little run off. She is getting so thirsty it's awesome! She is starting to stack them calyxes. Update on pictures and video 📸🤩 Day 82 Day 32 Flower 23/07/24 Tuesday FEED again today , De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Full 5L had about 300ml run off. She is so thirsty !! 5L a day now. But it's showing, calyxes are stacking beautifully, the trichomes production is nice and starting to have a magical effect with flash 📸 🤩 Day 83 Day 33 Flower 24/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Did 4L and started to see run off so left at that. Day 84 Day 34 Flower 25/07/24 Thursday END OF WEEK She really has packed on weight this week, thirst and hunger is hard to keep up 😅 Smells phenomenal, looks insane. Pic+Vid update

Purple Lemonade , Gelato 1&2, LAK 2&3 are all just about done theyll be coming down over the weekend or early next week. T26, Pineapple Express, Mexican Airlines, LAK 1, 6 Shooter Blue Dreamatic and Cream Cookies are all on the flush but will need a few more before chop. This tent reeks up the whole block it's pretty intense skunk in the driveway right now. There will be one more update I'm guessing for most of these before the harvest update. This was the most successful autoflower crop I've had in a long time I think theres some really good quality buds on some of these. I'll put the video up now and as I go thru the pics theyll be uploaded so if your interested come back tmm for the pics.

🍋 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 7 from Seed Flower Week 3 | 12/12 from Seed Welcome back everyone — and welcome to anyone just joining the journey 👋 This is our Lemon Cherry Gelato update, currently Week 7 from seed, which we’re considering Flower Week 3 in our 12/12-from-seed room. There’s a lot to talk about this week, so let’s start by bringing everyone up to speed. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run is part of a larger 8×8 mixed-genetics environment, where multiple cultivars share the same room, light strategy, and environment. The approach from day one has been: • low stress • observational • plant-led decisions • learning in real time No chasing perfection — just paying attention. The Lemon Cherry Gelato plants have been vigorous and very bushy since early on, with strong branching and dense foliage that required intervention as flower development began to accelerate. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week we performed a fairly deep defoliation, similar to what was done on a few other girls in the room. Why? • The plants were extremely bushy • Light penetration was becoming limited • Airflow needed improvement • Bud sites were stacking fast We removed a significant amount of inner and overlapping foliage to: • allow photons to pass through the canopy • improve airflow • help the plant focus energy where it matters It may look aggressive in photos, but it was done intentionally and carefully. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Structure & Phenotypes You’ll notice two slightly different expressions in the photos: • First photos → Lemon Cherry Gelato • Second one → what we’re calling the “other” Cherry Gelato Both plants: • very bushy • beautifully structured • incredibly lush green One plant showed some funky leaf expressions, but nothing concerning — genetics being genetics. Both were defoliated deeply, but not excessively — just enough to give them room to breathe. They are not alone in the room, and in a shared environment, balance matters. ⸻ 🔥 Minor Observations • A few burned leaves from under-canopy lighting • Nothing serious • Easily managed • Already addressed You’ll spot them in some of the mini photos. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding — Why We Changed Nothing This week, nothing was changed on purpose. Current parameters: • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are too high for flower — but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature runs ~2–4 °C cooler than ambient room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Response The plants are telling us clearly that they’re happy: • deep, lush green foliage • no visible stress • strong internodal structure • uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment. That’s why the feeding stayed exactly the same this week. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and Not Expect) Next Week What we expect: • visible bud stacking • calyx development accelerating • stretch slowing down • energy shifting fully into flower production What we don’t expect: • major environmental changes • aggressive interventions • unnecessary corrections Next week is about watching, listening, and letting the plants work. ⸻ 🙏 Final Words To our humble eyes, this garden is looking outstanding — but we’re always open to: • criticism • suggestions • questions • different perspectives Lovers, haters, followers, OGs, newcomers — everyone is welcome here. This is a shared space, and interaction is how we all grow. Big thanks to: • the GrowDiaries platform • the sponsors • and everyone who takes the time to read, comment, and exchange energy If you have thoughts, ideas, or see something we could improve — please drop it below 👇 Let’s keep learning together 🌱💚 📡 Please stay tuned they can try and take us down but we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@DOGDOGTHEDOCTOR NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the next steps, let’s push the boundaries of indoor horticulture together! As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Hey growers, not much to report I have had good progress this week. The Purple Punch is still alittle ahead of the WW still but not much. I saw some pistols start popping as I tried to show in the video but was hard to get, so right on time with the early flower stages. I have started to do some leaf tucking as well to help get some light exposure which has worked wonders! All in all good week nothing to complain 🙌 See ya next week✌️ Happy Growing 🌳
