Blueberry Headband OJ Cheese Update Dec 29 Day 50 Flower Have noticed an immediate response from the plants after the leaching and light raising. 24” seems to be the magic number. Work up from 30-40% strength at seedling and gradually move up to 75% at the end of veg. By the third to last week of flowering should be at 100%. Have fed the Girls nutes Weds. Cheese got no N as it’s supposedly within three weeks of harvest. Next week will leach heavily and feed only water. The rest of the Girls got the full treatment. NPK and CalMag. This is three days after leaching. Tried leaving the exit fan on so the humidity wouldn’t climb too high during the evening. Turned the heater off as well so it wouldn’t be running constantly as the air was being sucked out anyway. The temp reached 59°F. A tad too cold. The next evening, even though the RH was still high, I left the fan off. Thought the heater was re-plugged in but no. Temp only went down as far as 62°F. Still too low but better. The third night everything was plugged in normally and 65° was the nighttime low. Acceptable. Going to keep the nighttime temp there for the remainder of the grow. Colors should appear. Blueberry Headband is doing well. #1 is sprouting new calyxes from the ground up and the flowers are turning a dark purple. It seems way ahead of #2 which seems to be behind them all. New calyx growth there as well but the buds are much smaller with virtually no red hairs while #1 looks like it’s almost ready to harvest if you were judging by the hairs. The aroma is intoxicating! The Orange Juice is leaping ahead! Looks like it’s getting ready to harvest as well but there has been an explosion of new calyxes and swelling hasn’t started on any of the babes yet. The Cheese may be starting. So, about three weeks for Cheese and 5 weeks for the rest. By my guesstimation, these should’ve been vegged for another two weeks at least. That would be eight weeks! Big learning curve this week as I metered my well water which I’ve been relying on more and more as bottled is expensive. Neither I nor my dog drink it. TDS is over 700 PPM. Almost double the safe consumption level of 400 PPM. Have leached the plants once more extensively using RO water with a final .5Gal of PHed water with SuperThrive. These girls are starting to really stack on the trics.the are all looking very healthy,no burnt tips.i did snap a couple bottom branch's half off so I had to fix those,so that kinda sucks.i really need to learn how to be a little more careful.lol

Tough going first few weeks going to look close on the postmortem for the roots and see if I can tell what was causing the issues with Phos, Ca, Mg lockouts. Foliar saved the day Was very disappointed in the germination rate which caused delays in grow cycle and threw off my whole grow system. It forced me into 7 gallon pots to try and save the yield and THAT may be where the issues arose with the pots, I had to use another bin of soil for the extra soil. Still I should have known better and just stuck with the 5 gallon pots but was trying to get yield. Worked too on Layla and Maggie, nothing was going to help the stunting on Brandy which I dropped from the grow. So 60% germination is not acceptable unless its tomatoes... Dont get me wrong though, this strain has a LOT of good qualities, it not only survived my foul up but produced one excellent plant and one monster out of the three that germed. May try it again next year, think it would be stellar in coco. Beyond that a quality product, just had issues. Day 76 she’s bulking and looking pretty. She’s pretty yellow idk if she’s super hungry or just coming to the end but I love her none the less her trichomes are getting there looking beautiful.

Giving her ph adjusted tap water to flush her out well for the chop in 7 days. 🌊✂️ First time growing a sativa dominant strain & I was expecting it to grow taller than the other hybrids in the same enviroment but it didnt. Not sure why my buds are airy & foxtailing a bit. Maybe heat stress or maybe just the genetics. 🤷‍♂️🏽Nothing else in the room showed nug structures like this so it kinda makes me suspect the bud structures to be due to genetics. 🤔

Harvested 1 plant after 49 days flower & harvesting the last one at 56 days of flower.✂️ Flushing with ph adjusted tap water. 🌊 Really happy with this strain. 😊🌿

Day 77 she’s just a beast. She got a little thirsty and upset but perked right back up once she got some water in her. Idk what she’s doing but being a beautiful lady 👌🏻

This was a very pleasant strain to grow!. It kept short, bushy and controllable. It would of yielded more if it wasn't taken over by the sativa dominant love potion, which I'm fine with because I enjoy the variety. I also made a couple newbie mistakes which effected yield and I'm hoping to avoid them next round. It was exactly what I was looking for flavour wise, which I'm very happy about, and they were completely loaded in trichomes and the smell is amazing. The flavour in my vape is exactly how they smell accompanied with earthy taste and a potentcy shutter. This will definitely keep me satisfied until next variety is ready.

Real flowering started this week. The stretch just started and the crazy bushiness continues. Did some fairly heavy defoliation on the under canopy and select large leaves blocking light to the bud sights.... but controlling the growth is a balance. Trying to keep as much photosynthesis as possible until I can really tell which bud sites will be the real colas. I did a full reservoir swap with flowering nutrients, and a pH balanced water only flush in between (about 18 hours just running pH 5.9 water). Once I put the new nutrient solution in, the plant just shot up. It was spectacular the difference in literally only half a day. I have noticed that a thin coating of something was on the air line of the bubbler and a couple other surfaces. Cleaned it off before the water flush, but still note a very slight film on the top of the fresh nutrient solution. It's a touch worrying but not sure it's an issue. Will watch carefully.

Day 55 since seedling (correct dates) After re working my dates out it seems I was out by a few days. Now re timed it seems everything is where it should be. The LOS girl is looking good but not a great yield from her I dont think. She is frosty as hell and looks dank too. Her smell is so strong now of varnish/diesel/fruit , an odd combination. The other 2 in coco are doing good but there is a huge visual difference between the two " Sister from another Mr" is growing well but definitely behind in terms of finshing with her sisters. I think another 2 weeks will see them finish perfectly and I have now hit them with the shogun Dragon force and sumo boost to boost their final weeks and oil production. I am loving the look of these buds. nothing as beautiful has been in my room before. top notch euphoria is expected with these colours popping out.

Day 55 from seedling!. After working out my times ect , it seems I have miscalculated by a little which explains a lot of the development and where I thought I was at with these ladies. The Los girl has just got on with it and didnt need any changes to anything at all during the grow so is right on time and development. Not having to hit the right time to change feeds has been an easy grow for the Los plants. The size of them is in general, slightly smaller with less thick branches. They have developed nicely but not as many actual budsites as their coco/mc counterparts in smaller pots. It will all be down to taste and potency it seems as so far MC is out front on this race. I have now switched them to the shogun for a week to encourage oils and final burst of growth if I can . In photoperiods, I have had a little success this way but withbautos it's all a new experience. Rhis strainnis a beauty to behold and grows amazingly well . Perfect for a first growers confidence as they are also very forgiving. The colours as they grow are so unique too. they look artificial compared to the strains I have grown before. She smells amazing too. so fruit sweet it makes me dribble. Frosting is everywhere too, so this next week should have them oozing some oils. well done on this super fast strain Fast Buds.

Day 22 - december 26 The hydro goes really fast now we can see the difference in growth vs the soil ppm 500 Ph 6.1 day 23 water change - 730ppm day 25 i cut off the 2 top fanleaves of the hydro and soil plant wich are blocking light on the stems underneath, now both plants have 6 main stems so both plants will have the same structure. nothing needs to be cut from here its just veg a bit longer and wait for flowers. also did LST on all 6 branches each has a string on them with a pencil attached to them to bend the young stems gently as you can see in the final video of this week. day 28: the hydro plant recovered from the too light nute mix new growth is healthy again theres just brown spots on the oldest water leaves. temps are also a bit low when lights turn of (15ceclius) in the res. i put the timer of the light now at 20/24 to keep it 2h warmer.
