Week 12, Day 83 from seed and 3rd day of flower.....The 5 day of this week officially marked the start of the flowering season!! So I flushed both of these bad boys with ph'd water for two days and then today I switched them to 12/12. I gave them their first dose of bloom nutrients and then lollipoped them as you can see, pixs . Grateful no issues to report for the past 3 weeks have been trouble-free!! I'm going to leave the MH bulb in for an additional 2 weeks to prevent any stretching before switching to the HPS. But so far they are still loving their environment. I'm also in the process of keeping clones of fat banana and hulkberry while i try this new strain of Peanut Butter Tree.

Special queen and special kush with one week into veg stage, ak-47 with 4 weeks so I started the lst, critical with 2 weeks

The grow began with great anticipation for these two legendary strains: 420FastBuds Blue Dream and 420FastBuds Moby Dick. Both strains demonstrated strong initial vigor, living up to their reputations. After planting, the seeds of both Blue Dream and Moby Dick sprouted quickly, with healthy roots emerging after just 32 hours. This rapid germination was a promising sign of the robust growth potential these strains are known for. At the 44-hour mark, the seedlings were introduced to their first light. Both Blue Dream and Moby Dick responded well, showing strong early development. The stems appeared sturdy, and the initial leaves were vibrant and healthy. With such a solid start, the grow journey for Blue Dream and Moby Dick is off to an excellent beginning. The fast germination and quick adaptation to light suggest these plants are well on their way to becoming the potent, resilient specimens they are famed for.

Heat stress temperature outside getting to high

Wish I hadn't neglected the plant earlier I could've gotten a better harvest but the quality of the smoke and the high is top notch, no complaints about the final product and definitely growing her this summer.

Nothing too wild happened this week. I trimmed her up a bit today before taking pictures, she’s looking good. Doesn’t seem like much is really going on with the plant, but the buds do seem to be getting bigger. While trimming today, I think I found a spider in the leaves I removed. Should I be worried about this? It’s either eating insects or it’s just in there right? Hopefully there are no bugs for this thing to eat. 4 more weeks of flower. Wednesday update: Had an issue. Seems my timers stopped working. Light and filters/fans. Not sure when it happened, but I've reset lights to the normal time setting. Hope this doesn't affect her

Nothing much to report. Its growing nicely. Tricombs are already showing...and loads of them! Tomorrow is watering day, going to up the feed a little but use fizzy water instead of plane. I only take leaves away that are blocking bud sites... only 2/3 per 7-8 days.

Another week with the girls going great. There swelling up and filling out nicely. Like always i increase my bloom nutrient to 12ml per gallon from 9ml. I'll go back to 9 next week and finish out using that amount.

If you ever read the grow description. Its true in every aspect. Very very resilient. Had ph issues humidity issue. Even gnat issues and she faught it 😂. Just expect the growth spurs she grows fast and tall if not lst

5/5 MONDAY Took out the AC Infinity lights and just went with the 2 cheap blue and red lights. Samsung 301B.. H?....great lights but so powerful and no blue red combo. I noticed the plant grow towards the red spectrum LED than the whiter ones on the AC system. There are 2 on each bar. Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. The Mountaintop Mint has made great strides but is still a lanky bitch. I had to HST every branch, and may need to bend a couple more down before vegetative growth abates. Not a fan of this growth pattern and still unhappy about 2 out of 9 seeds providing a viable outcome. The bright side is that yield should be fine given the plethora of bud sites. Despite being difficult to grow next to other plants, I feel much better about its prospective outcome than I did just 1 week ago. That whole "crazy shit can happen in flower" thing rings true, again. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.
