This week everything is doing well for the most part, I’m having a Canuk bred strain start to yellow up and get some brown spots on her @day61 and looks like a little bit of calcium deficiency in my mutant lemon pie but I’ll keep on working to get them corrected as best I can

Impressive how this plant managed to grow despite the few hours of light .. I guess what it could do with a better season than this year (there has been a lot of rains) and in a place where it grows with constant light.. anyway I am very happy with her, I would also say proud of how the growth went. In the last few weeks, as you can see, the plant has suffered an attack by caterpillars that have eaten some of its leaves in a short time, the plant has remained very strong anyway. I tried to remove them manually until they disappeared completely Before proceeding with the cut, I put the plant in the dark for 48 hours, further stressing it by shocking the roots with ice cubes. I've never used these two methods, but I've heard a lot about them. some say it is useless while others say that these methods work to increase the production of trichomes and terpenes. Nice and frosty Smells like grapes Don’t think it’s going to get purple

Well it’s week 6 and the c4 is looking amazing :) , her buds are developing well and she has really started to take in a nice purple Colour on the budding Sites and the leaves :) . Her smell is starting to dominate the grow room atm , allow all 6 plants are the same age she is most definitely the most advanced into the flowering phase .. I can’t wait to see what next week brings :)

welp i pushed them 1 more week and now they are receiving the flower nutrients, i gave these ladies a heavy defoliation last week and as you can tell now it does not even look like a took a leaf off.. will possibly give 1 more like defoliation and then let them all put on the weight, lets see what these ladies are made of 😆

So the hubby has been growing this strain (in soil) for approx 9 weeks. It took some wearing him down but eventually after many batches of freshly baked cookies I finally convinced him to cut me a clone, and an apex clone at that. #truelove It took about 3 weeks to root (unintentionally caused a lock out by attempting to grow roots in the same water/nutrient mix we were giving the 5 wk plant) #lessonlearned She’s since recovered and has grown a beautiful root system. Let’s see where we end up

This grow was all about learning the process of hydroponics. Needles to say It is not as easy as it looks and takes a lot of time to set up and so... But along the way with help from several growmies it came to a unexpected result. 227 gram dry weight of good quality cannabis. This result ,I'm very happy ,has so much room for improvement that I can't wait for the next grow. I like to thank Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these awesome genetics, I suspect this is a big part of the result, the freebies and a lot of weed. Ofcourse I couldn't wait for the cure and started smoking. Man this stuff is sticky!! The smell is already hard to resist. The taste could be better,no cure yet, Very fresh but you smell and taste the potential. Being a long time haze smoker the effect is not exactly my thing but at night after dinner with a cup of coffee that's more what this is. Being a older person the hardest part of this contest is this damn diarie. Still find it difficult to find my ways. How many times I have to do this over 😤 I will grow this stuff again , never was a big fan of autoflowers but this outcome made me a believer. The starting plugs that came with these seeds are from now on a absolute must have! You see the difference . I cleaned the Aquafarm and it's ready for the other strain "Legendary OG Punch", that's now inside the growplug. Unfortunately to late for a full grow to be in competition but will make a diarie never the less.

I finally broke a pound with a single autoflower! Couldn’t have done it without AGLEX cob led’s, Remo Nutrients, and coco coir. They’ve changed my game completely! This grow started off as a pretty standard grow. I did absolutely no training until the veg period was winding down, and pre-flower was beginning. As the SCROG net went in, a little later than planned, numb fingers due to cervical spinal issues, and a poorly time muscle spasm, I snapped the main stalk...disaster right? Apparently not! They’re tough plants! Within a day or so she was perked up and sending up new colas from all the growth nodes now exposed to the 2000w AGLEX cob led’s. These lights have transformed my grow process, and increased my yields by over 300% compared to my old led’s, and only draws 408w from the wall. 1.23g/w is quite satisfactory I didn’t have much tucking to do this grow after the original SCROG. Due to the fact I was a little late getting the SCROG net in place, she didn’t have too much stretch left in her, she certainly fattened up quite nicely though, almost too much so in places. The front left side of the SCROG net got awfully crowded with huge buds packed tightly together. Lesson learned...keep the branches spaced apart slightly further, and maybe allow slightly more vertical growth of the colas to allow slightly better light, and air flow penetration. My issue is I only have 6 foot ceilings in my tents. The ceiling in my grow room is only a little over 6’2”. I managed, through SCROG techniques, without topping or fimming, to keep the top of my canopy 24” from the floor. This allows plenty of space above for the AGLEX cob, and exhaust fan. After last feeding I flushed with just Ph’ed water for 5 days, then gave the plant 48 hours of darkness, to rid itself of chlorophyll before harvesting on November 4th and hanging in a drying rack. It’s still curing in jars but after trying a few samples, it’s an awesome strain, and hits hard. It’s not as hard as it sounds to fill a 4x4 tent with a single autoflower, and still pull 18 ounces (504g) out of that tent. With simple SCROG technique, defoliation, quality grow medium you can achieve the same results. Of course you’ll need an AGLEX 2000w cob, but for an 18 ounce return on a $300CAD light, in 3 months, it’s a no brainer folks! You won’t find a better light under $300 Canadian. You’ll also need a quality nutrient line, and it’s hard to go wrong with the Remo Supercharged Kit. The proof of those 2 products quality are in my harvest. Day 26

Chopped on day 98 Produced 27.3 grams (0.98 ounces) of very compact and moderately dense nugs. Very frosty and very pungent. Very simple trimming with the bud structure compared to other strains. It reminds me a bit of their Opium strain (obviously this is their black opium strain so I'm sure it shares a parent), as well as their rapier strain. I've smoked all 3 and they all have a similar scent and taste. I do enjoy it. I've only tested one nug, and will of course update the review once they have cured for about 50 or so days.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Thx to my friend @YYCannabis I completly changed the way to grow. 1) new pot with a new water level (10 liters just below the basket) 2) only few nutrients for now: micro, grow and calmag 3) a low EC (for now is 1 but Im ready to raise it if needed) 4) new policy about grow management based on the changes of water, EC and PH following a chart for corrective actions 5) more control on Temp and Humidity 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Lesson Learned: WATER JUST UNDER THE BASKET FOLLOW THE PLANT NEEDS. IF SHE ASKS FOOD THEN GIVE HER FOOD, BUT IF SHE DOESN'T THEN DO NOT.
