For the girl, this week is really very hot... 32°+ :( but these are her last weeks, until full maturity :) the leaves are yellowing more and more every day, until the finish she will only get pure 6.3ph water:) the flowers look fantastic:).

Well I had to break down my tent this week. Long story but I took some clones to do these at a later date. Minor setback but hopefully I will be back up and running again soon. These are the pictures from right before I broke it down.

New light this week! Not sure what I should expect. I fed the girls early on, but think the feed levels were too strong as they showed signs of pH imbalance again. Flushed them with water, tested pH, low and behold pH too low. After flushing fed with a lighter nutrient mix, which they have both enjoyed since. By the end of the week, it's obvious these girls like the new light. It's promoted some new growth and more bud sites, which will hopefully increase the overall yield. Going to be fun watching them fatten up over the next couple of weeks or so.

Mrs Big B is about to have her sweet stretch to Budville so I hope I've shaped her well enough to take full advantage of the light space. If not a traditional 'Super crop' will solve any future spacing issues. Ha ha. Due to an accident in her younger days she's sort of become a triple stem after topping. I'm hoping I get something cool looking as a result. I trimmed a few lower buds that would soon be overshadowed by the canopy and not worth her effort. Weekly does of Biobizz triple nuits and tap water just to top up and irrigate. Because shes not drinking loads yet. My LST may need refining..... but we learn every mistake right?

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. Hey guys! So, finally Saturday I chopped her down. She looked now ready and delicious, although I only notice yesterday how many seeds she has allover the place. She hermied in front of me without noticing, not good at all and need to start looking much better and in detail into the plants. Feel like an idiot now. Anyways, it was a full week! Emptied the grinder collector and pressed it down a little, makes a very nice smoke, light but pleasant, the kind of stuff it keep you going all day without the dumb effect. From all trimming made the bubble hash. Got a little too green as the 220micron bag's stitches slightly opened letting some contaminants in the final mix, hence the green color. This was a hit. in opposition to the grinder stuff, this sent me straight to the moon, really heavy stone effect, even thinking was hard. Reminded me those afghan/ moroccan balls we used to get back in the early 2000's. The weed itself it's still drying so the smoke report will be updated in there. 715g of fresh cut plant is good, let's see the potency and the seeds. Might turn it all into bubble hash, if I see it'll be an hassle to remove seeds. On an earlier bud I've cut and dried, smoked it and you can see pure white ashes in the bong. Ain't that a beauty?

Lots of defoliating underneath for improved airflow. Lights running 100%. Plants have good bud set. Looking great so far I cannot complain. Co2 1500ppm,Humidity 60%,Temp 75-78f.

What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! Let's see how this strain does during the summer months! Cheers everyone! This has been an awesome grow. What I'm lacking in yield, I yet again make up for in quality. And I don't think yield will be an issue with the clones, they're week 6 veg - and quite massive! - RWI out!! 😁 😶‍🌫️🤑
