The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

As we embark onto flowing, I continue to fine-tune the environmental conditions and adjust nutrient levels to support optimal development. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 60: I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.66ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. Additionally, I increased the light intensity from 20 to 25 dli (daily light integral). To maintain the desired humidity levels, I turned on the air conditioner to dehumidify the space, successfully bringing it back down to 58% as it started slipping up to the 70s again. However, this adjustment caused a slight drop in temperatures to 24.5 degrees Celsius. ⏰ Day 61: During the evening feeding session at 18:00, the plants received a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.66ms and a pH level of 5.8. Furthermore, I elevated the light intensity from 25 to 28 dli, positioning the lights 50cm above the canopy. The night temperatures have also stabilized at 22.5 degrees Celsius after the AC change. ⏰ Day 62: I provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.6. I also conducted some light low-stress training and removed any growth on the horizontal stems, as each stem already possesses its intended 16 tops. These adjustments will help maintain an even canopy and ensure optimal light penetration. ⏰ Day 63: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.7. Additionally, I removed some excess growth and increased the light intensity to 37 dli/580ppfd, getting to the optimal levels before flowering starts. ⏰ Day 65 (Day 1 Flower): I initiated the flowering phase by switching the lights to a 12/12 cycle and provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.85ms and a pH level of 6.1. As the plants enter the flowering stage, I have adjusted the nutrient composition. The calmag has been reduced to 1.5ml/l, Bud Candy has been added at 1ml/l, and the A+B mix has been increased to 3ml/l. The plants water consumption has also increased, now reaching approximately 2 liters per day, which aligns well with the timing of the light cycle change. The temperatures have stabilized around 25 degrees Celsius during the day, and the relative humidity ranges between 55-60%. I have also set up the scrog net in preparation for the upcoming stretch phase. ⏰ Day 66: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.85ms and adjusted the pH to 6.0.

We’re in the seventh week of flowering, and the plant is looking absolutely stunning! It’s starting to show beautiful purple colors in many places, all the way through the buds. The colors are really popping, and it’s giving the plant such a unique look. On top of that, it’s smelling incredibly sweet—strong and fragrant every time I open the tent! 🍬🌿 Most of the trichomes are now a milky white, which is exactly where I hoped they’d be at this point. I’m sticking to the BioBizz week 7 bloom schedule, knowing it’s almost time for the flush. 🌱💧 Everything is going so well, and I’m beyond excited to see how it turns out in the final stages. A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. This week was very relaxing, i add only PH+ (again ;), Calmag and PowerZyme. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. ******** Week 10 - Feb 10 to 16/20 (Days 64 - 70 from seed popping out) It’s flush week so not much to update really. This week you anticipate the outcome with great hopes and also think about missed opportunities......no different here 😂 😂 😂 Last feed given last week. First good flush this week. I did not use any flushing agent with this girl. Want to get her natural taste and see what she can do on her own. The medium is pretty good with going into the week with a run of 900ppm. She is more dark on the bottom than I would prefer but it will be what it will be. Found an issue my pH pen this week and it will have contributed to some of the stresses this girl went through in recent two weeks. She picked back up this week and is taking roughly 2 days to work through 4L of water. Her run off by the end of the week was in mid 300ppm so we should be good with her feeding from her leaves. The top leaves are fading and giving a yellow with a slight purple on the edges. Combined with he red hairs and different shades in the bud and she is getting pretty🤩🤩 She is fading and looking more beautiful everyday! Will be pushing this girl and don’t anticipate chopping her down before next weekend.....want least day 75 to 77 idea.......see what the week brings. She has beautiful buds but they need more squishing and I want to ensure she can feed on herself as much as possible. I personally prefer the smoke from a plant flushed for two weeks, so that is the goal......only concern is what will happen to tricombs over the next four days or so???? She squished out bud very well over the weekend and has swelled quite a bit. She is getting fat and happy.......putting on the weight and frost this week girl!! Dropped the night temps to 60 degrees and the humidity to roughly 40% at night. Stripped more of her leaves this week. Some are still left where I don’t want to remove the leaves for fear of bruising the bud trying to get it off. 😧 She is such a dense bushy little girl!!! When you shake her and you feel how much she moves the pot you instantly smile👍😆👍 Again, trimming more lower growth on the main stems would have given her little extra to fill in the tops of colas even more.......next time👍 Crazy good genetics is what keeps going through my mind this grow.....impressed......I have to get more FastBuds in my seed collection!!! Little more detail......to come Feb 10/20 - Day 64 - her first flush after feed two days ago. - 6L water with Rezin & Liquid Weight @ 2ml/l = 100ppm and 5.8pH - runoff: 895ppm and 6.1pH. - Good looking numbers for two weeks flush. - no flushing agent used and she is not crazy for ppm in medium and she is not showing signs of toxicity. Feb 11/20 - Day 65 - Nothing today. Feb 12/20 - Day 66 - 2L water with Rezin @ 2ml/l and LW8 @ 1.5ml/L = 75ppm and 5.95pH - her tops appear to be mainly bud now. Not many sugar leaves pointing out anymore. Feb 13/20 - Day 67 - 2L water with Rezin & LW8 @ 2ml/l = 80ppm and 6.15pH - been cool in tent last couple of days......slowed down a bit. Feb 14/20 - Day 68 - Nothing today. Feb 15/20 - Day 69 - 3L water with Rezin & LW8 @ 2ml/l = 100ppm and 6.1pH - Her claw is coming out more. Could she be root bound? - Light is at 18', pH is inline, same when medium is dry and wet, nitrogen hasn't been too excessive?? Feb 16/20 - Day 70 - 3L water with Rezin & LW8 @ 2ml/l = 100ppm and 6.0pH - Pulled a few more lower leaves......she is thick!......she is also getting sticky moving around her buds😀😀 - closer to the end so will keep dropping temps and humidity in tent. - Have a great week all and may your gardens be full of colour and shine!!🙏

Hello Growmies, Week 3 for our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is unfolding with promise as we observe their transition through pre-flower. Opting for low-stress training over topping, we're guiding their growth gently to maximize their potential. The plants have gracefully reached our SCROG, and with two already skillfully trained, they are demonstrating adaptability and robustness. Through the canopy, we see an even spread of foliage, indicating that our LST approach is on point. The structure of the plants is sturdy, showing that the careful maneuvering through the SCROG mesh has been well received. The greenery is lush, leaves are perked up, reaching for the light—signs that our Watermelon Candy plants are in their element and thriving. Our environmental management has mirrored the successful strategies implemented with our Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains. Daytime conditions are meticulously controlled, with the Tent-X system maintaining VPD within the ideal range for healthy plant activity. However, as we've noted with our other strains, our nighttime VPD control presents a challenge. The data indicate a discrepancy in maintaining optimal humidity levels when the lights are off, suggesting that our current setup is not fully regulating the environment during these crucial hours. The intention to integrate the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is a move towards rectifying this issue, with the aim to achieve a seamless 24-hour environmental control. The transition to this enhanced system will ensure that our Watermelon Candy plants receive the same level of consistent care throughout their entire growth cycle. Their current robust state and the proactive steps we are taking to fine-tune their environment have set a strong foundation for the weeks to come.
