11/30-12/5: Major stretch from the Muscadine Wine's and one of the Sucrose Overdose. I supercropped and tied down the apex on the big SO and I'll probably have to supercrop both MW's before it's over. The Platonium and GG4 aren't stretching vertically nearly as quickly, but have massive leaves and huge diameters (problem children). Sugar Bref is a shorty, like the Berry Bomb, but both have very thick stalks and may, yet, do some stretching. Both MW's and the big SO not only have red stems, but they have red leaf veins and the outer edges of the fan leaves have a nice pale-green to red gradient coloration....swexy!😍

Week 15 days 99-105 . I'm am flushing all plants with 1 gallon of filtered water each. I've reduced the light cycle from 18 to 14 hours to reduce heat stress. It may reduce yield as well based on comments I've read in other growers diaries. An oz per plant would be nice. Of course more would be better but an oz makes a pound of cannabutter. Reducing the light hours is reducing the purpleness in the stems of og kush and gorilla glue but Purple chill still has purple stems The Natrona sisters spend their nights in the garage where the temps are 10-15 degrees cooler than in the day temps in the tent. Night temps ranged this week between 63-66 with rh 51-76%. The high rhythm comes after a rain. During the day, I'm keeping the tent open while circulating 2 fans. Day Temps can reach 80 so it gets hot in there. flooded each plant with 1 gal of water. From here forward I will be flushing all plants with filtered water at 1 gal for each plant every other day. Monday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo. This is a stress technique used to force plant phenotype colors. I don't think it will work for mine as I over fed. While I have 3 different strains, they look the same with blue green dominance. Thursday, flushed with 1 gal of water. See photo Sunday photos I'm not seeing any change in leaf or bud colorations from flushing out the fertilizers nor from the ice treatment. General comments" After putting the plants in the garage during the night, morning soil temperatures are within a degree of the night air temperature. This has been about 15 degrees cooler (50s) than the tent temperatures (75+). This week our weather has been unseasonably warm so the night temperatures have been 63-71 with Rh 51-70% Tent temps in the day 75-80 and RH 47-59%. Really starting to stack and put that weight on!!! Tent is overwhelmed with super orange terps from that trop cookies. Wish I threw in a 3rd trellis net lol

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. The finale grow week for the first Tropicanna XL is there (the one by the wall), she came out just lovely and the smell is mad. I could use it as perfume it's so rich and fruity, never had a plant with such outstanding fragrance. This week we start of changing the reservoir water to which I decided to add nutrients. Yes, this plant will not get a flush before harvest, it's the first time i'm not flushing a plant for the cut but you know only two of the four girls are ready to chop and it's not possible in my RDWC to seperate feed them. So yes it's kind of an experiment for me...some time ago i heard that "man does not need to flush"... yeah I don't really believe what the white coats tell us but then we watched Dr Bruce Bugbee stating the same thing and he quoted experiments performed by his team... I believe him, and I don't really have much choice. Something's not right with my fresh solution or the plants get root rot or something but the girls starting to show K deficiency...I ended up adding an insane amount of PK through the week...good that the plants are on the finish line :) The SE7000 runs at 550 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. No problems this week, flipped her to 12/12 and I took a clone. Did a little defoliation. She's got a whole space filled with runtz to flower with so I'm super excited

Beginning of week 9: Tropicana is 27 cm high and the stem is 38 cm long. Sun is back, rain stopped, happy growing. Day 57 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-23 degrees, humidity is between 70 and 80%. Today I checked the PH of my collected rainwater, of the drainage, of my field horsetail tee / manure. With the soil everything is ok I think. PH of the drainage is 5,9. I was very surprised about the high PH of my homemade fertilizer. Today I took some macro fotos with my new magnifying glasses. I saw the first purple leafs and trichomes everywhere. They are all clear I think. It‘s my first time growing a cannabis plant and I love it!😻 Day 58 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 13-23 degrees, humidity between 60 and 95%. Tropicana feels better now with more light. It‘s much brighter during the days but today again cloudy. In my eyes Tropicana looks happy and she is so beautiful. I want to bite in one of those buds, but I will not do yet. Maybe I will take some of the less lighted buds, harvest for tee with cream. I like to vape my cannabis and cook or bake with resin and butter. So I plan to let Tropicana take all the time she needs to produce enough amber medicine. Day 59 🌤️☀️🌤️⛅️ 12-24 degrees, humidity 65-80% The smell is incredible. I really like it. Day 60 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌥️ 11-25 degrees, humidity 62-78%. This morning Tropicana got a bio banana shake which I prepared yesterday evening. I chopped three banana peels and boiled them in one liter of water for short. After I blended them together wit the water and let it stand overnight. Then I sifted the fertilizer in the early morning and gave Tropicana her breakfast: 700ml rainwater and 70ml of my banana fertilizer. The drainage had a PH of 6 On nearly all flowers it‘s possible to find purple colors. The pistils started to change the colors. Our balcony is in the first floor and today it was possible to smell Tropicana down on the street next to the house. 🤭 Day 61 🌤️☀️☀️☀️ 11-26 degrees, humidity 55-75%. Today it was very obvious that Tropicana started fatten up the buds to mature: Different colors, very strong smell, pistils are getting orange. I spotted the first amber trichomes. I could have a nice and potent June harvest but I think it will finish in the first week of July. Day 62 🌤️⛅️🌤️⛅️ 13-21 degrees, humidity is 50-60%. Tropicana enjoys the morning sun while I drink a fresh hemp leaf tee and reflect the last two month of my legal balcony grow. I watered with 700ml pure rainwater. The run off PH ist around 6,3. So I‘m quit sure that the reason for the increase in PH was the watering with the field horsetail manure, which has got a high PH something like more then 7. Day 63 ☀️☀️☀️☀️ 13-20 degrees and the humidity is between 66 and 85 % Beautiful monday morning. Tropicana asked for a banana smoothie, today 1:20 mixed with 700 ml. pure rainwater. She likes to drink it slowly, so I don‘t water all in one anymore. First maybe 20%, 10 minutes later 30% and after half an hour 50%. If I watered all in one, 100 ml of 700 ml run off. If I water step by step, all of the water stays in the pot. After 24 h the pot is much lighter and I need to water again. She is very thirsty in these days.

4-2-2021 Now starting 2nd week of flower. Look at her grow would you expect anything less from a Crop King Seeds seed No Way!. She is far behind the others but doing great just the same. So easy so far to grow this strain so not sure what the fuss is all about. I did manage to bend her under the string so technically she is a Scrog. I just did that so to spread her out might get a few more larger buds out of her.😎 Love how she is doing so far. Keeping the PPM'S Steady for now and added some Seaweed stuff for root growth. We will see how she reacts.💪

Just waiting for the malana bomb to finish drying then ill chop this and pop it in the box for drying. Lots of Amber visible and the foxtailing is getting worse so wanna do it as soon as possible. Hoping it'll be nice and couch lock.

So Day 60 of 12/12 and the girls are ripening perfectly. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but I think they need a few more days for sunset sherbet and another week or 2 for the Plat. GSC. Obviously the amnesia haze will go for another 3-4 weeks. Hope you guys enjoy the update ✌️🏼

Week 7 Flower Let the Flush commence! 💦 Both girls started flush on Day 41. Twin2 is definitely finishing sooner than Twin1, but as they've both been tested the same, they'll both be taken down on the same day after a 14+ day flush. We're having a rise in heat in my area so it's interesting to see how each pheno reacts. Twin2 seems to be showing slightly more heat stress, by shooting a few fox tails, but at this size it's only a good thing 😉 I've also only just found a new trait being expressed on both twins, but much more consistently on Twin1, and that's the double serrated leaves you can see in the photo's. It doesn't mean or affect anything, it just a cool trait 🍁 I run approx 30+ltr water through each pot each time they're flushed. Before doing so I check the ppm and pH value of the run off from each pot and take records. To do this, I gently pour a few litres in the centre of the pot until a sufficient amount has drained into the tray below. This can then be tested with your TDS/EC pen and pH pen. I still use Activated EM1 (EMA) throughout flush at 1ml/ltr because microbes are always a benefit. Once stretched/activated it goes a very long way so if I don't use it throughout flush, then it may go over it's 6-8week shelf life. They're both looking great and still filling up. Both twins are coated in trichomes and have their own distinctive smells. They both smell very floral; Twin2 smells a lot sweeter, but Twin1 has a more earthy, almost gassy kind of smell to her that's just as nice. These girls are definitely not making my choice any easier yet! Looking forward to seeing them fade. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

5-10-2025 I harvested my Purplematic CBD and washed the buds with a mixture of baking soda and lemon juice. Some caterpillars 🐛 came out of the buds 😱!! I hung the branches up to dry in a spare dark room with a ventilator. After 10 days of drying the branches still wouldn’t snip. I think the room was too cold and too humid. Next time I’m using a dehumidifier.

These seeds are very good genetics they withstand a lot of heat and they still remain looking healthy they struggle through it but they look like they're overcoming it I'm very proud of the genetics very proud of my light and my tent good luck GrowMie have fun

I gave them a good wash slowly slowly took about 1 hour to give them 25 l each now u just give water and wait to flower fatten up
