Flushing with Flawless Finish here on out starting today. The 3 girls are looking ripe now. They smell of sweet fuel. I was expecting fatter buds to be honest, but these seem fairly dense, and the colours are beautiful. I microscoped the sugar leaves last night. There is hardly any clear trics left, yet very little amber ones, so I'm sure I'm roughly a week out until harvest day give or take a day. The girls grew decently during flower but are starting to show signs of stress, and age. Middle and left side plants have purpled, yet the far right plant remains green fading to yellow There will be no 24/48 hours of darkness.....I have tried that and did not see ANY improvements. There will be no Ice Cube Flush...I tried that and also did not see any improvements. Well, next week's update will be final shots before harvest.... YAY! Cant wait to smoke some SUGAR BREATH!

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Week 10, so from today I stopped watering the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and on Saturday no more light as well. Sunday is harvest day finally. Not much changed, I raised up the water with 25ml so the Purple Punch gets 200ml 2 x a day. That's all, since last week I started giving 13 hours darkness and 11 hours light and from Monday will be 12/12 after I harvested the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and I can use the tent only for her. Fertilization will happen on the same days. Sunday fun day, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is harvested. Purple Punch left alone. From tomorrow I will switch the light schedule 12/12. End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.

En la 6ta semana de vegetación hicimos una poda de bajos y desfoliación en general para potenciar el crecimiento de los brotes superiores, mejorando la iluminación y ventilación en el cultivo. También hicimos unos cuantos amarres (lst).

Not much to update guys, harvesting the ladies 1 by 1 when they are ready, hopefully I can take the rest down at the same time. Can't wait to do the smoke and bud review for you guys.

I think it will be really big :) a few leaves are a little brown, I don't know why, but it's not spreading.:) She's a real lady, she keeps getting taller :) like with high heels:)
