So I've chosen my final 6! 4 are 7 days old and the other 2 are 6 days old! A little slower in growth for some but I put that down to me having them in coco to start and I'm inexperienced with coco and as soon as I switched them to soil they perked right up so I'll stick to what I know and use soil starter plugs or soil or even root cubes have done me justice in the past, I run my diffuser twice a day to maintain my 60-70% avg RH I started at 25% power on the light at 10" and slowly increasing the power to 50% at 10" above canopy! As I'm using co2 im able to put the light closer and raise the temps! I was using a heat matt but honest opinion I think they're a Hazzard in some way and not necessarily necessary! Just my opinion as I came across problems with the substrate being too dry sometimes! But I will keep them in these pots for about another 3-5 days and then transfer them into a bigger but not final pot for an avg of 2-3 weeks! Can't wait to be at the end of may! Things are looking really good, all the olants seem to be alright with only one or two starring to yellow... Not paying too much attention to that though. Starting to get some really interesting smells out of her and most of the Black dog crosses have gone purple... Pretty interesting. Chempie cross is just a stunning plant, making huge buds super nicely spaced out and frosting up already Stopped feeding grow at this point to try get a better Pk ratio going for kid flower and will start using minor amounts again toward the end of flower

The end of the 5th week of flowering. Just like the other 2 weeks before this was a cold and rainy week. The buds are really struggling to grow/fatten. they grow thought, but slowly because of the colder climate. Because of the struggle and colder climate, they don't drink as fast as they used too, so I give them less to affoid overwatering. I might have to lower my EC as well to make sure they will keep drinking properly.

GROW 😛 Plants have grown rapidly. GraduallIy I removed the side branches. They look very naked now. But experience has taught me that - especially with SOG - you can almost never overdo it, by removing sidebranches for up to 3 weeks of flowering (depending on the sativa/indica ratio). Usually these branches do not get enough light, so they do not produce many flowers. 😺 On DAY 12 : The smallest plant is 30 cm. The largest plant is 68 cm. 😊 ------------------------------------------ BLOOM 😍 First flowers appear. The plants already smell very nice ! 👍 ------------------------------------------ WATER + NUTRITION 😱 On day 8 I watered the plants by hand, for the last time: 5 liter water with 2 tablets of RQS Easy Bloom Booster. From day 9 I have connected the autopots to the water tank. Hopefully the biotabs tablets provide enough nutrition for the coming weeks. ------------------------------------------ AIR HUMIDITY 😨 To keep the humidity at the desired level, I have to refill the two 7.5 liter humidifiers daily. 👍 As long as the plants do not have real buds, I like high humidity for a stimulating VPD. 💪 The WATERING VOLUME PER PLANT PER 24H above, is in fact PER POT (4 Plants / pots) !!! 👌

10 September Harvest - see pictures. While some growers leave the plant whole when they cut, I do not. It is a personal preference and situational convenience if your a home grower. I chose to cut large, long branches, and remove any whole water leaves, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the bud formation. I don’t trim yet. This is done for a few of reasons: 1) It’s my last good close-up look at her until another 5 days or more, 2) I don’t want wet leaves drying on my buds if I can help it, and 3) I occasionally like being able to shine a small LED flashlight on the flowers while its drying. Mold is our greatest problem as growers, it can destroy a beautiful grow right up until the end process. Then I hang it in a dark closet, provide circulation and ventilation. Light and heat, anything above 80 degrees F, will start a break down in cannabinoids during the dry, it is ideal to stay away from both. I’m fortunate that a humidity level of 50- 55% and temperature of 65-70 degrees F is fairly consistent and easy to maintain. Anything below 60 degree F will prevent the adequate drying out of chlorophyll. Almost all my flower routinely take 5-7 days, some a little longer, to properly dry out. 15 September Trim - see pictures. First you’ll notice the buds have shrunk up to half their original size. This is just a fact that we growers have to deal with. Due to evaporation without uptake of water, it takes about 3 days for the chlorophyll to dry up, then slowly go through a chemical change. Along with the leaves, cannabinoids also begin a chemical change after 3 days called decarboxylation. A slow process where the THC level increases while curing. You want the leaf to be dry so they can be hand trimmed easily, but you do not want that bud so dry that it starts to fall apart in your hand. Try to handle carefully by the main stem to avoid touching the bud all together. A lot of these cut leaves will be covered with trichomes, good for making oils, or other products, it’s an option worth looking into keeping it. After trimming, I do separate a few premium flowers for my first smoq. Then loosely fill wide mouth quart mason jars with about 1 oz/28 gr of product per jar. I seal the lids for a few hours to determine what relative humidity they are at, see hygrometer pic, before making a decision to put in a 62% humidity control pack of my choice or to wait, then place in secure in a cool dark place with stable humidity and temperature. It is very important to then observe/burp or exchange the air as needed, up to several times a day, until 62% rh is achieved. Once your close to to your mark, put in your desired RH level control terpene shield. If you have a problem getting there: 1) it has dried out too much, no real solution, try to put several large cut stems left over from harvest into the jars with the buds to try and increase humidty, 2) it has not dried out enough, in this case no problem, just remove and dry out a little more. This is also a personal choice, some people like it drier in the 50% plus range. Whatever you do, research and preserve. At that time burping is no longer required. Cannabis will reach its peak potency potential at about 40 or so days into the cure. The finished product should be a perfect grind when cured correctly without clogging up your grinder, this could take a month. Now that I’ve said that, I’m sure someone has grown something that they have not been able to grind. It can remain in this state for an easy 6 months with little change, locking in all the terpenes and potencies. All you need to do is occasionally check the product to ensure there are no molds. If your grow/harvest/cure techniques are good this should not be an issue. It would not be uncommon to find many cannabis strains will last, with small degradable change, for up to one year after being stored this way. Using an airtight glass container, controlled relative humidity, maintained low temperature, and kept in darkness will equal maximum shelf life. Always avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 80 degrees F. The reasons I’ve ultimately chosen Deep Water Culture as a grow medium. Each has their own pros and cons indeed. I found the most efficient, less maintenance and ideal solution for my situation was DWC. Burdens to overcome depend on size up set-up; initial equipment cost, size of containers, ph monitors, air pumps, type of water to use-reverse osmosis, RO cost/set-up/maintenance, ways to transfer/change water and nutrients, what nutrients to use and schedules, takes several grows to learn and understand, a 1 year learning curv, easy to nutrient burn. The Benefits of growing in water; no dirt, no bugs, no diseases, rare nutrient deficiencies/toxicities, steady and rapid growth that enables the plant to reach its genetic potential. After harvest, there is about a 1 hour equipment cleanup, sterilization and turn around process before replanting. Cannabis will perform in so many different ways and mediums, no one way is the best and the best way is the one you are using, right. Chose what works for you in the long run. There will always be an initial cost in set-up. My advice if one were in need to cut corners, I would not recommend cheap lights. This single factor is the most critical, afford for the best. The notion that organic and water has a different taste, flavor and potency effect is absolutely debatable. The more we learn the better we grow and experience is always the best teacher. This is what works for me and my methods of growing in general from beginning to end. A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who stopped by to take a look. So this plant was a slow grower from the beginning. Just grew one big chunky bud. Good trichome development and fantastic tropical terps. This is a nice smoker, just not a looker as a plant

Esta semana fue generalmente bien, salvo por los intentos de supercropping (primer intento) en 5 apicales de los cuales 3 de ellos estan bien, me imagino el supercropping funciono bien, salvo en la de la Royal Gorilla que siento que la doble mucho que casi se rompe, pero no le paso nada menos mal jajaja. La dosificacion nutritiva fue la misma de la semana pasada agregando 1 ml de top max junto con el riego de biobloom. Hasta el momento todo bien. Saludos!!

I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

È partita alla grande la Diesel auto della RQS....fino ad oggi avevo fatto crescere solo in vaso sotto la sp3000 Marshydrø ora sono curioso di vedere cosa puo fare con l idroponica che è assolutamente il modo di coltivazione dive ho miglior risultati e anche quello che in assoluto preferisco...

The growth cycle was pretty short, realizing that I planted it late in the year with the sun setting way sooner. Overall great experience

We're in the second week of flowering, and the stretching period has begun. This cut in flowering phase is growing very quickly and can triple in height in about three weeks with the right nutrients. For now, my strategy continues as in the first week: I'll only give them water enriched with microorganisms and let them grow without any stress.

Took her down at day 94 in her 14th week. I did notice budswelling and density increasing in this final week. She was exposed to heat wave temperatures above 95f degrees in the greenhouse, yet took it well. I just had to water heavier than normal and at a daily rate....a rate of about 1/2 a gallon a day. She was flushed for 2 weeks using only TPS signal, ph water, and unsulfered molasses. She smells earthy, bold, and sweet....like a bold caramel latte. As soon as the leaves started fading i figured it was time for the chop. Next week (15) will be the actual harvest info, as she is in drying now and weights cannot be supplied at the moment.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was a good week for the ladies, all the toppings are complete, and now I am just focusing on some LST to try and keep all 8 tops level on all the ladies. Today is day 42 and I just removed the milk crates that all of the ladies were sitting on to give them more vertical space. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. 20 mls a gal of finish. slightly heavier watering then usual for flush. wet trimmed plants over last 3 days of life day 63-66 while giving total darkness to plants not being trimmed. runoff was basically pure ro by end of flushing
