Almost there! Plant number #1 is finally looking and smelling like it's time to get chopped down. Some colas have enough amber trichomes but not all of them. The smoke from plant #2 gets a very heady high so I'm wondering if I make sure I see amber everywhere the buds will produce more of a body high. I'm probably going to cut her down this week- stay tuned!

I finally broke a pound with a single autoflower! Couldn’t have done it without AGLEX cob led’s, Remo Nutrients, and coco coir. They’ve changed my game completely! This grow started off as a pretty standard grow. I did absolutely no training until the veg period was winding down, and pre-flower was beginning. As the SCROG net went in, a little later than planned, numb fingers due to cervical spinal issues, and a poorly time muscle spasm, I snapped the main stalk...disaster right? Apparently not! They’re tough plants! Within a day or so she was perked up and sending up new colas from all the growth nodes now exposed to the 2000w AGLEX cob led’s. These lights have transformed my grow process, and increased my yields by over 300% compared to my old led’s, and only draws 408w from the wall. 1.23g/w is quite satisfactory I didn’t have much tucking to do this grow after the original SCROG. Due to the fact I was a little late getting the SCROG net in place, she didn’t have too much stretch left in her, she certainly fattened up quite nicely though, almost too much so in places. The front left side of the SCROG net got awfully crowded with huge buds packed tightly together. Lesson learned...keep the branches spaced apart slightly further, and maybe allow slightly more vertical growth of the colas to allow slightly better light, and air flow penetration. My issue is I only have 6 foot ceilings in my tents. The ceiling in my grow room is only a little over 6’2”. I managed, through SCROG techniques, without topping or fimming, to keep the top of my canopy 24” from the floor. This allows plenty of space above for the AGLEX cob, and exhaust fan. After last feeding I flushed with just Ph’ed water for 5 days, then gave the plant 48 hours of darkness, to rid itself of chlorophyll before harvesting on November 4th and hanging in a drying rack. It’s still curing in jars but after trying a few samples, it’s an awesome strain, and hits hard. It’s not as hard as it sounds to fill a 4x4 tent with a single autoflower, and still pull 18 ounces (504g) out of that tent. With simple SCROG technique, defoliation, quality grow medium you can achieve the same results. Of course you’ll need an AGLEX 2000w cob, but for an 18 ounce return on a $300CAD light, in 3 months, it’s a no brainer folks! You won’t find a better light under $300 Canadian. You’ll also need a quality nutrient line, and it’s hard to go wrong with the Remo Supercharged Kit. The proof of those 2 products quality are in my harvest. Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Grew genetically similar for a while, one is going long the other going wide. The one treated with magic sauce is growing rapidly vertically even though the umol range is well within the flowering range. (No need to stretch).

The sixth week is over! This girl is taking it easy, while becoming more and more beautiful. Pistils, pistils everywhere, as Buzz would say. The prospects are really excellent. This week she grew to 83 cm and drank a total of 3.5 L, 2.5 with nutrients and 1 L of water only. The lamp is now fixed at 30 cm at 100%. Week seven is coming! Show us some calyxes, girl!

She is slowly growing. I was able to raise light intensity up to 650 ppfd without the corner plant now. They are taking up much more water now! *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

Hoffe nach den Überraschungen in der letzten Woche verlaüft diese wieder ruhiger. Habe den Leitwert des Drain bei beiden Pflanzen auf ph6 und 2000 microSiemens Ende letzter Wiche reduziert bekommen. Interessanter Weise waren die Leitwerte bei den Pflanzen trotz exakt gleicher Wasser/Düngergabe um den Faktor 2 auseinander. Der ph-wert lag bei beiden bei 4,8 [Warum auch immer]. Hab die Werte durch Spülen mit Leitungswasser und Osmosewassermix mit Leitwert 500 auf die oben beschrieben Werte gebracht und hoffe das die Damen es mir verzeihen und mich trotzdem in 3 Wochen mit reicher und vor allem leckerer Ernte belohnen werden. Gieße jetzt jeden 2Tag, so viel, dass genügend Drain entsteht um die Werte zu kontrollieren. Drain liegt bei Ph ca. 6,0 bei max 2,5mS andernfalls wird mit Osmose oder Leitungswasser (0,8mS und Ph7.2) gegegengehalten. Da sie in Stofftöpfen stehen, ist es hoffentlich nicht so dramatisch etwas zu viel Wasser zu bekommen.

Final days of Veg . Heavy Lollipop and defoliation completed. The recovery was fast, and the Bruce Banners are now filling the SCROG net. Ready to flip to 12/12 any day now.
