Plant are looking healthy. The WW that I had to transplant from hydro to coco is fully recovered and roots are already coming out the bottom of the airpot. All three clones are growing healthy and keeping up with the top of the canopy. Ran a mini flush at the end of the week to start the new week out with fresh nutrients.

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She has a fairly wide node spacing, which is nice as it makes her easier to manage than a bushy plant with tight node spacing. 7/12- Our summer weather continues to be hot, although we do get a break from the heat when we're lucky enough to get some rain which also helps mitigate the daily watering. 7/14- The Papaya Sherbet photoperiod from FastBuds is definitely going through a growth spurt and is gaining inches by the day now! Yesterday it rained the better part of the day, which provided over an inch of rain. Today,I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photo approx. 3g of well water from the garden hose. 7/16- Well the weather and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo are both on fire! Hopefully the weather will cool down soon, and the Papaya Sherbet photo will continue to impress!🤩 There's another week of veg for this beauty and I can't wait to see how big this lady gets! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! In this week, the Acapulco Gold, GMO, and Glookies successfully germinated and grew into little seedlings, while the first "anonymous" germination attempt failed.

Nice purple colour, Easy to grow, compact buds, cold resistant. But second pheno made a lot of seeds 😓 I dont recommend ThSeeds because the quality isnt that good and I feel like I wasted money and time with that strain. The smell isnt that insane

This week i was transplanting the plant in a 11L pot. 2 days later I did some LST to prepare her for flowering. This strain is very resistent towards stress and is growing non stop. I aim flowering for next week on sunday when the plants are 6 weeks old. 🌴🍪🔥

Well this week has gone a bit pear shaped. I think it is a combination of light stress and the new soil I'm using. Also the soil had fungus gnats. I won't use it again but it was an experiment and I've learnt that soil isn't my substrate of choice! Back to my super coco mix! 😁 I'm going to see if I can pull it through. I've got plants through worse! Wish me luck. I watered twice this week with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6-6.5, containing 1ml of Ecothrive Trace and 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys. I will say that the soil is very difficult for me to judge the moisture level to water accordingly. Was in a rush to finish these due to unforeseen circumstances, so I started the Overdrive feeding early in hopes to compensate for this.

Aug 31: now done six weeks of flowering. Started force flowering by putting her in the dark garage for 10 h plus two hours of bonus darkness by using a 730 nm far red light at dusk as a bloom booster. After three weeks of moving in and out of garage I’ve just been using the red light at dusk. I use Civil Twilight as listed on dateandtime.com for my location. Civil Twilight is getting earlier by about 3 min per night and will be at 9 pm tonight. Awesome plant should be 2-3 weeks to finish and the weather forecast is perfect for next two weeks. Should be a strong finish, and we’re still in August. Awesome. Sep 1: flowers are huge and progressing quickly. The top buds seemed to change colour a bit today. Overnight temperatures are still above 10 C so no purple colour showing yet. Maybe right at the end in a couple of weeks she’ll show some extra colour. Sep 3: buds are getting big, dense and sticky. Perfect. Sep 4: flash pics are okay if using the 730 nm far red light right after. If you don’t have a red light, don’t take flash pics of your photoperiod plants. Nice big buds are quite hard too. 12th week of happiness

Que pasa familia, va de vuelta empezamos con la floración, primera semana con el foco cambiado a 12/12. Aumentamos un poco los nutrientes, todo va bien están sanas van vigorosas y poco a poco van estirando. Hice poda de bajo esta semana, aproveche para sacar esquejes y regalarlos a un amigo cercano. En las fotos podréis comprobar que hay distintas podas en cada ejemplar pero los bajos la llevan todas. Han empezado a marcar sexo, parece que todas son hembras. Tengo muchas ganas de seguir progresando este proyecto semana tras semana, y ver al final los resultados en si, buenos humooos 💨💨

De momento todo va bien, he añadido un sistema de co2 casero, no se si hará algo por que no tengo medidor, le he echado 500 gramos de azúcar disuelto en agua templada, media pastilla de levadura de unos 12 gramos... Y una uvas trituradas, godzilla Cookies Auto se le están poniendo las hojas más viejas amarillas y se están cayendo, no se si será por deficiencia de algún nutriente o el ciclo natural de la planta.
