August 14, day 104 (37f), the Red Mandarine is getting chunkier bit by bit. The canopy is pretty dense, but I have plenty of airflow so it should be alright. It just needs to ripen a bit more in the coming weeks and gain a little density and it should be good to harvest. August 17, day 107 (day 40f), the buds are really putting on weight at the end! The smell is also increasing, along with the lovely red tones. Switched to dry koolbloom for the last week or so, then a short flush and harvest. The Mars Hydro SP-3000 is powering through the flowering stage. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. Day 29 - Topped both ladies at the fifth node and removed any growth below. Growth exploded since transplant and first dose of nutrients. Day 30 - Watered both ladies with around 100ml of water. They recovered from the topping and look as healthy as can be. Very happy with progress. Day 32 - Misted both ladies. Day 33 - Watered both ladies with around 250ml each. Increased dosage slightly from last feed to see how they take it. Day 35 - Misted both ladies to keep them hydrated. Maria is doing well, showing vigorous growth. Planning to top her again next week and remove any growth below the topped nodes. Juanita has fallen behind, new growth points seem to be growing sideways. Keeping an eye on her progress, hopefully she turns out ok. Not planning to top her again until normal growth resumes, do not want to stress her out.

Im really hopeful for this round. Not al plants are outside but end of the week they wil be.

Officially 8 weeks today....... she is ready her trichomes are cloudy some milky only saw 1 or 2 amber trichomes I am flushing her until Sunday and will cut her down. I’m using a 5 gal DWC so from my understanding a 7 day flush is way more than needed. See you guys in a few weeks with the final results.

7/1/23 - Day 19 I do water changes weekly. The new weeks start off with a water change. Water changes always scare me, it's the mixing of nutes and balancing the PH. It sounds easy in theory but in practice you want to interfere with the PH asap. But I was able to let the LEAF box empty the water, I filled it up with RO water, LEAF then dosed all my nutes. After that i came in a PH balanced it. (PH balance is something LEAF will be able to do, but there was a bug in the software so instead of having LEAF dose the PH i decided to do it manually for now. The Roots are INSANE! I bet by time I'm done there will be 1+ gallons of water displaced by the roots. I almost started cutting her lower leaves at the base, but I decided to let them grow for a bit. If they grow out some more i will be able to scrogg them and then cut the leaves below after they are trained up a bit. The lights have kicked on and everything looks in order. The plant looks great too, she might be in a small amount of WTF because of all the PH changes but i think the drastic changes were kept to a minimum. She looks happy. As always ill update you tomorrow. 7/3/23 - Day 21- I trimmed some of the lower leaves on the bottom, I'm leaving her bushy still, I won't want to cut any more branches if I can, I need the branches from the bottom to reach the sides of the Scrogg net. In the next couple of days being apple to Scrogg and stretch her while Shes still moldable. 7/5/23 - Day 23 - I added some training lines to some of the branches. I need them to be as spread out as possible going into the Scrogg net. I'm a big fan of not trimming too much as she grows. I don't mind there being some foliage down below. I will cut as needed if it looks like the lower areas are sprouting too much of the little leaves, but for the most part, I let nature do its thing. She's drinking a ton of water now. I am getting my RO water dropped off by the five gal loads. I just got the membrane for my RO150 unit that I plan on having up and running within a couple of weeks so I can start making my own water. 7/6/23 - Day 24 - I added a picture of my RO water setup. It cannot be set up permanently, so this was a great solution. You can see how I was able to tie my branches down, next time I will drill a few holes on the side of the pot. This is a great solution for anyone looking to Scrogg and manage the vertical height. Also, you can see on the top branch there was some pulling, so much so that it started to pull the plant and it created a small lump. All good but just goes to show how pliable these plants are. Day 111. First is ready, second week behind, third maybe even 3 weeks behind .... Plus they are LEAFY ,!!!! Trim jail ... Wet trim for all of them - no doubts !!! Day 115. Still hanging, slowly drying and result should be decent at the end ... A week more I guess, very humid in UK ... Day 118. First trimmed - 175 g. Other is chopped ! One still grows ... Day 136. Chop day for the last one !!! Long run .... Happy Growing !!!

Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. Decided to finally finish this diary, I took my time with his one ;) Now we cut the second POGP auto plant, the first cut you can find in week 17. The plant from week 17 weighted 660g. wet, this one finished at 1,85kg. wet. The girls where autoflower but thanks to me starting this grow in cold day temps (14 degree Celsius) the started flower really late, maybe that's also the reason for all my problems with this strain during the grow?! The two plants where different phenotypes, the smaller one (from Week 17)though small had nice hard flowers, the bigger one as the only plant from four I grew during the growop started foxtailing. Both of them branched nicely the smell was quite strong and awoul xD like gasoline and something rotten, it smelled so bad i checked a couple times under microscope for any signs of mold in the flower and to my suprise I found nothing. Thank God later during drying the smell would subdue to a more generic "hazediesel" smell -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SE7000 done it's magic with this grow as with all my other grow ops. 2024/01/13 : not much new here... the height is about 8 cm now, very slow grow. Temps were too low so I added a flat 250W radiant heater and with DLI set to 20 now, it's about 24°C by day and 23°C by night : much better for vegetation! I water every 2 or 3 days with 1 L (about 300 mL runoff) and alternate elycitor/molasses. Anyway, the seedling is now a plant so I made a quick video to celebrate! 2024/01/16 : it seems blueberry liked the hotter temp, buying this flat heater was best thing i've done this run... The height is 10 cm now and 4th node is here. I'm waiting for the 5th one to top it. I checked runoff pH and found 6.78, hoping it's OK.
