So this is week the beginning of week 5 seems like it started to stretch a bit and hasn't gotten as bushy as I thought lowered the light a bit to se if it would help will see how the week goes..decided to do some LST on the plant let’s see how she likes it

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

As the Ganja Farmer Seed's TKO is ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The TKO reflects a flowering time of 60-65 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change end of week 7 strictly following GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. She is an aggressive grower and challenging for maintenance. All in all, great genetics. Day #31: As I was a little bit busy with other things the last few days, I didn't have the time to update my diarie on day #30. Tuesday I got a nice surprise delivered from Lientec LED lights, they sent me three led strips as addition for my growroom. Two led strips have 660nm red leds an one led strip has 385-405nm UVA leds on it. Which means in blooming phase I can add more red light, which is positive for bud development. But also the UVA light is positive for THC development. Research has found out that UVA led light, in the right wavelength, is capable if uplifting the THC development with max 5%. That is in very optimized conditions. If all goes well a little bit, I might be investing in two more led bars with red and UVA light in the future... In the meantime the little buds are growing nicely, all plants show signs of good growth, so this week I will be slowly adding some bloom nutrients towards the end of the week. In week 6 I want to start with only bloom nutrients beside the FloraMicro nutrients. Also I'm adding CalMag once a week... Day #33: I added some FloraBloom nutrients, but forgot to mention last update. I'm going to change slowly from only FloraGrow as second nutrient, to FloraBloom as second nutrient next to FloraMicro. This weekend, I'm going to change the Fan, because the fan I'm using right now isn't capable of keeping temperature as I like it. But further one, everything is going very good. Flowers are growing pretty nice, I think the extra red LED light is doing it's job perfectly. After this week, I still got about five weeks to go until harvest. UVA light will be added slowly around the end of week 7. I need to build that up slowly, because the plants are not used to the UV light and if I start with 18 hours UV light right away, they probably will get overstressed and my harvest will be killed... All electric has been reset, so I can use an extra timer within the 18 hours of light for the UVA led strip. Day #35: I decided to start using the UVA light tomorrow, at the start of week 6. Slowly building up the hours of usage. First days I will be adding 1 hour ov UVA light, and then I will start multiplying the hours, until I'm at 12 hours a day. The plants are flowering pretty well in the meantime, next week I will be adding more bloom nutrients and less grow nutrients, but I will still be adding some grow nutrients, to make sure some nutrients still will be available for the plants. Als I will be starting to add Silicium once a week, as the temperature is getting a bit high and the new fan is still not here... So to avoid heat stress, Silicium will be added onze a week until the new fan will get temperature as I want it to be...

I might switch the lights in the next days. Depending on her growth. Day44: Added some water and moved the camera a little further away. Day45: She felt lonely, so I got her a friend... Theobroma Cacao. New seedling that needs the warmth + humidity. Hopefully surviving winter. Day46: I decided to take some zoomed in stills of her. To show off her beauty. The purpling of the branches really make this lady something special. In some of the shots it might look like her leaves are yellowing, but it's just the angle of the light. You can see on the photo that I took from the top, that all leaves are a healthy dark green. At least I now have proof that she's a lady. She's short and stubby, but I'm not really growing for amount. I just neeed 50g, after all (hehe) Day47: She grew like a demon overnight. I'll check the height tomorrow.

One more week in vegetatitve. This week I will put the scrog screen. They are growing well and my LST keep them very small =) Im really curious to know how they will flower =)

Day 36-13/05/22 damn they looking good i think I’m going to raise the light today I will have to check!!! Day 38-15/05/22 gave them a nice bit of water today they needed it!!!! . Day 40-17/05/22 all looking good so yellowing of lower leaves but think it’s because I watered them a bit to late the other day!!!

So. From the early beginning, this plant was my favourite. So she didn't dissapoint me. If we remember that fact that for last 3 weeks i was taking some every day, overall outcome was still very good. the high is amazing, and the smell is 'something'. I would recommend this strain to everyone if you are thinking to get one.

I expect these girls too be flying into forming buds this week hoping all sites give generously as it seems they are all thick with pistils as can see 🌱 lollipopping has benefitted from what I can tell. Intensity of light reduced hopefully no issues to come from that as I seen leaves tips burnt slightly so changed light 💡 The smaller tropicana cookies ff looks like shes gonna produce some nice sizes heads 🤞 If anyone has any comments feel free, thanks guys/girls Please note all feeds measurements are per litre

The second week of vegetation is over and watching the plant grow is a rewarding experience for me. Now that the plant is well-established, it is time to begin training it. This involves LST to ensure it reaches its full potential in this case. I look forward to discovering what this plant will become 😋😊

Day 69: As you can see, lucky the buds gone bigger but because of these intense feeding to fix the grow, they start to get nutrient burns. So for the new week i might only give water until the end with maybe some Regulator, enzymen, humic-blast... They also don't drink fast anymore. Another indicator that they having a hard time taking all the nutrients and that they are at their end of their stage. Some smaller plants, that finished growing and flowering faster, are already done and will get cut down in the comming days. These plants are some Gorilla's and some are cherry cola's. As you see, some have been foxtailing because i had to raise the lamps everytime. I personally don't like fox tail buds but i know some people that love them, pure flower to smoke. I really liked to make those photos in the dark, It shows many flowers and thc.

Somewhat slacking with detailed photos from this week, been busy with the holidays/ family etc. hopefully should have a little more time to take some good ones for next week.. Not much to say, they are getting quite big! some more lower branches and leaves were removed and I've been watering every other day, about .5-.75 gal per plant until I see some run off and the top looks evenly moist. End of week 1 of flower and there are Lots of white pistils, a pleasant smell (controlled by my filter/vent) and some major stretching happening on the strongest branches. Already raised the light by a few inches twice now too keep the distance over 12 inches from these stretchy ones! 😏 Also found a large healthy looking seed in my grinder that I've saved (Mac 1 supposedly, its good smoke)

11/24 - She was harvest on 11/24, the last day of the 13th week of flower, the 91st day of 12/12. She could have easily went a bit further, but I was content chopping down now. Most of the main colas were trimmed back to about 6 inches, and everything else was trimmed as nugs. I planned to dry in my Rubbermaid tote, and didn't have enough room for the entire plant. I had bought what I thought was going to be a 2x2 tent on Craigslist that I was going to use as a possible clone tent, and when I unpacked it, it happened to be a 4x2 tent. I am using it to dry 2 colas that I couldn't put into the tote, so I will get a bit of a comparison of dry trimming and wet trimming from the same crop. The part that went into the tote was wet trimmed, the 2 remaining colas that were hung will be dry trimmed. The top colas for certain were hard as rocks. Can't wait to see what it does dried. The two tops I did happen to weigh wet (don't care for a wet measurement as I know lots will be lost during dry) were around 30g each. I would expect it to dry to about 4-6oz or so, enough for me, since it was about 1/4 of the tent essentially. Now that I have a 2nd tent, I will look to use the 4x2 to veg/mother plants, and the 3x3 to flower, and hopefully cycle them to get a harvest every couple weeks. I also have 9 other seeds from this pack, so I will definitely give it a go again, but if they are going to be 13+ week flowering plants, chances are I won't keep them around, unless any of them turn out to be something really special. Now we wait for the buds to dry and can be put up to cure (assuming 4-10 days, as I don't really know with the wet trimmed how much it may take off of the drying time. 11/29 - The part of the plant that was wet trimmed and put into the Rubbermaid dryer was trimmed up and jarred today. The smaller nugs that were in there were pretty much dried, but the main cola parts still had some moisture on the inside (was all trimmed back to manageable nug sizes), so I am going to be burping daily for 30-60 minutes during this first week to help continue the dry/start the cure. The 2 colas that were hang dried will be staying up for another couple days. The 6 colas done so far went into 3 quart mason jars, with 25.2g, 26.5g, 26.8g in each, though as I said, with them not being fully dried, it will continue to go down a bit. Assuming the other 2 branches follow suit, we will be somewhere just under 4oz for the plant. Will update again in a few days. 12/1 - Two hang dried colas were even less than the others, coming in at 21.5g. As with the others, I expect some more loss in weight as the cure starts and they continue to dry out a bit. Will update the weight in about 7 days when I expect it to be about finished. I will say, the hang dried plant already appeared a bit more fragrant upon going into the jar. We will see where they stand in a week. Either way, between 3-4 ounces for 1/4 of my tent, not bad. It would make mainlining a viable option if staggered/perpetual grow. 12/5 - We are on the cusp of getting the smell back into the buds after a few days in the jars. 12/9 - Calling the final weight at 98.8g for the one plant, in basically 1/4 of my 3x3 tent. Smell can really only be described as funky. I even tried to ask a friend his opinion, as my nose can sometimes fail me, and his only answer was funky. Will be back in a few days with a smoke report, hopefully with comparison from a friend or two. 12/11 - Friends say the Dreamcatcher smells like cat piss. I always just said funky, and someone else said cat piss, someone said a skunk that sprayed. The smoke is smooth, maybe a bit earthy with berry tones, and for me the high is pretty clear headed and more of heady high than anything. Happy with the way she turned out. Interesting to see what the rest of the pack will produce.
