This week, my cannabis plant is showing some signs of thirst. Unfortunately, I had to cut back on watering due to a small infestation of fungus gnats. To combat the problem, I decided to apply nematodes. Hopefully, they will take care of the larvae in the soil. Despite the reduced watering, the plant still looks strong and healthy overall. The buds are continuing to develop nicely.🌱🌱 I'm really curious to see how things progress in the coming weeks, especially now that the pest issue is being addressed.💚 Be excited for the coming weeks 💚🌱🌱

This was an easy week with flushing the 2 B Blunt and Wreck'd Nuts so that I can take them both down. The Wreck'd Nuts just did not recover well from the lock out issues it was facing. It all came out of nowhere and got kind of serious even with a solid flush. That strain is a bit more picky with the nutrient balance than the others were. Leaving the Sex Melon and Rainbow Candy for next week. They still have some beefing up to do.

10/13/2024 Reduced light to 85%, which has dropped tent temperatures a few degrees. Daytime air temp high is around 82 again with leaf/bud temperatures around 78. Seasonal changes have dropped outdoor temperatures and therefore indoor temperatures as well. Night temperatures are getting down around 69F. Lung room humidity is bouncing between 45-50%. The plant is looking strong with some definite signs of fade setting in around the canopy. Trichome development is great, a lot of white showing up and starting to look frosty! For the last few days I have not pruned many leaves to allow the plant to pull nutrients if needed. Mainly because I still have not done a full water change in the system. I have continued to water with a reduced strength nutrient solution with the same ratio to maintain the 600 - 650 PPM window. 10/18/2024 It has been a pretty stress-free week. Humidity has dropped a bit lower than I would like so I have had to use the humidifier to keep VPD in check with daytime temperatures in the low 80s. I have spotted a few seeds developing around the plant (maybe a handful). From what I can tell it does not look pollinated and I cannot see any nanners. Either pollen from the second plant was mature enough and stuck around after culling, it pollinated itself, or parthenogenesis is at play here. Regardless, going to finish the plant as planned. Trichomes are about 95% white at this point, by inspection with 30x loupe. 10/19/2024 Started the water change to reduce reservoir PPM to about 450 by pumping some off and replacing the water with pH-adjusted water. About 5 gallons cycled. Reduced lights to 80%. The fade is really taking hold and looking quite nice. Plant is still very healthy and the smells are amazing! Trichomes are about 98% white by 30x loupe.

Left these ones out a bit to long and not nearly enough love, so they suffered a bit but that's ok. I am going to experiment and try water curing the buds. First time ever using this method and I think it will make a good little project. No idea how to it will turn out, been reading it will remove most of the smells and that sucks but the smoke is very clean and light. Only time will tell. take about 7 days to fully water cure. bud washing helped get rid of a lot of extra that stuck to them outside.

Day 57 -

well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).

Flowering day 15 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) This week the ladies developed beautifully 👍. The stretch has started very strongly :-) . Watering was done twice this week with 1.2 l (see table above for nutrients). The heating mat does exactly what it is supposed to do, you can see that the ladies are doing perfectly again 😃. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water in a 100 liter tank so that I would have enough stale water for the coming week 👍. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. During the check, I noticed that after spraying neem oil 3 times, there were still a few damn trips to see. I have ordered nematodes for leaf and substrate against tripse. Das war die letzte Woche der GorillaAuto. An sich sehr vollgepackt mit Blüten. Leider etwas viele kleine Blätter die zwischen den Blüten gewachsen sind. Die musste man regelmäßig entfernen damit es nach Regentagen das Wasser besser wegtrocknet und man dem Schimmel etwas vorbeugt. Es waren echt viele von diesen kleinen Blättern... Hier und da waren ein paar Stellen die vom Schimmel betroffen waren. Ich denke das lässt sich outdoor nicht komplett vermeiden. Besonders nicht bei dem verregneten Sommer den wir hier dieses Jahr haben. Für die letzten Tage wurde die GorillaAuto an Regentagen reingeholt damit die buds nicht unnötig nass werden auf die letzten Tage und vielleichtnoch hier und da schimmel entsteht. Für die Zeit drinnen hat ein 5Watt Ventilator für Umluft gesorgt und eine 20W Anzuchtlampe die für etwas Tageslicht sorgt. Das Substrat wurde nur noch so minimal feucht gehalten das das Substrat nicht austrocknet.

These beans have been taking a beating and she still is pulling threw and starting her stretch now as she is heading into the second week of flowering .. I like the smell of this one right now and the structure is good very open just needs buds to start forming up. These were part of the grower of the month contest a while back very good quality genetics ...cheers

Fast and SIMPLE patio grow, perfect for an impatient grower. 72 days from seed to harvest. Could have taken some of the branches at 68-70d. Responded well to pinching back growth to encourage branching. Tested yield by leaving one plant natural and pinching back the other. Pinching back produced way more bud and the plant didn’t seem to mind. The smaller plant only produced 8 bud clusters and those were fairly airy, but showed amber hues a little sooner. Maybe she got less light than the bigger plant. They were both LOW on sunlight. The last 3 weeks of the grow were non-stop rain and storms, very little sunlight. So the girls didn’t stack ‘em up like I wanted. Gotta have light to make bud!! Vegetative growth the first 8 weeks was phenomenal. It wasn’t until the rains set in that progress slowed to a crawl. They were a few feet apart and both facing the equator with daylight to dark exposure. The sun itself wouldn’t cooperate though. Both plants were fed and watered the same. Soil was the same etc.... Only used commonly available garden center nutes. Wanted to demonstrate that a person could take the leap with their first patio grow without having to invest in a lot of special grow stuff. You can! but you at least need decent sunlight. I didn’t weigh the fresh harvest very accurately. I took whole stems to hang them by, and my good scale isn’t that big. I used a bathroom scale and weighed myself holding an empty box and the box again with the harvested plant difference was about 3 lbs. Once I trimmed off the fan leaves and cut it off the roots and trunk it was under a pound. I won’t trim them super tight because very little of it will be smoked, most will be used to make infusions, but I’ll remove as much stem as possible. Curing and storing in C-vault with 62% Boveda packs.
