🗓️ Week 11 complete – 7th week of flowering This week things got interesting: After increasing the feed to 2.0 EC, drain values jumped up to 2.2–2.6 – a clear sign of salt buildup in the medium. pH stayed stable at 6.2–6.3, and no visible signs of overfeeding so far 🌱 Starting with the next watering, I’ll dial back to 1.6–1.7 EC to help rebalance the nutrient uptake and residuals in the substrate. That said – Seriotica is looking amazing: healthy, strong, and showing no stress or lockouts despite the elevated drain. Frost and density are picking up fast – resin production is in full swing ❄️🔥 🔴 Visual highlight: Seriotica is turning into a real showstopper – soft pink and purple hues blending into a thick frost layer. The scent is sweet and earthy – and it’s getting stronger by the day 🌸

Very easy plant to harvest, didn't have too much leaves, so very easy to take out fan leaves and prepare to dry.

Been stuck in a 1.7L pot its grown really nice shape not stunting at all. This wk I'll move these plants from this small pots into 7pots to veg them for 3 more weeks to make em much bigger. Been a very hard job keeping these small pots balanced as the plant dries them up twice a day drinking 2x 200-250ml. So I've been feeding 2x every 6 days. And giving the low EC Nutrients as follow up feeds that v help break down the core npk Master Grow Part A+B 400-450PPM 2 FEEDS 2 TIMES EVERY 6 DAYS. FEEDS This small plant has been drinking 4-500ml a day. With it been so small I feed like this MASTER GROW PART A+B 2.4x.8 lml/1L. silica .1ml-1l 300ppm was given twice a week with 250ml feeds and 250 of just Water later that day ph was kept between 6.6 6.7 (as that's my taps ph) 1 day I make sure it gets enzymes + silica and add these in small amounts when I need to ph master grow. 1 day they get master root ph is unchanged 130ppm 250ml + 250ml of tap later that day 1 day they get calmag 150ppm added to 1L of tap and 250ml is given and water later that same day 2 Master grow Feeds every 6-7 days 250ml 300ppm 1 calmag 150ppm 2 master root, enzymesz silica used to adjust ph when needed and given solely once a week for the past 3 weeks. These have been my rough feeding table as big and old as the plant is, its size and intake of fluids plays a more important role..and doesn't need tweaking but consistency. Applied LST clips this week am going to move them into pots where they can get bigger. As these pots are to small to switch from veg to pre flower. Will veg for 2-3 more weeks. Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 102 - Harvest Day!! 🎉🎉 She had been watered with 5L of RO tap water with no nutrients and pH'd to 6.3 a few days ago and was let dry back, she was watered again today, but on inspection of her trichomes and pistils, which were all Milky and Amber respectfully, I decided to harvest her! I chopped her down at the base of each stem and hung each stem to dry inside the tent, she will remain here for a couple of days in a low humidity level room before I move her into a dark cool room to complete her drying for around a week! She will then be cured in a glass jar.🤞🏻

So the end of 3 and entering week 4 these girls are a little sad today as been working on finishing their little grow space which hopefully they'll settle into over the next few days. I have tried too upload images but no luck keeps saying resizing no matter where I upload from 🙄 The girls are taking off and I can see the difference in growth allthough they've been unsettled past few days 🌱 Still loving the aptus range and so am I its keeping these girls healthy even the topped girl hasnt really reacted too being topped 🌱👌 I will be doing some hst/lst with the other 2 this week as neglected them slightly as having the fastbuds testers all potted up into new shoes. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. It's never something you want to find but it's definitely part of the challenge growing outdoors. It's been a fairly uneventful week in the 5x5. I cut down my Blackberry auto the other day and I've been thinking of getting seeds ready for the stuff I plan to grow outside this summer...With my currents cycle of plants being deep in to flower, I have time to look forward at upcoming projects. The Mimosa cake auto is one of those plants currently deep into flower. She's been giving off a dank smell of earthy/fruity/spicy terps. She is extremely dense and sticky to the touch. I find myself cutting fan leaves off daily due to her busy and stout stature. The only down side I have to her is the fact that she's going to take around 100 days from germination to harvest. Process/ Environment changes: - Turned off one TS1000 after I cut down the Blackberry auto. I did this to try and cool the tent down. Higher temps outside creates an increase I'm ambient air temp in my basement. - Fed Advanced Nutrients Bloom nutes at a rate of 1.5 mL/gal - no longer using a fish tank water heater to heat my water reservoir due to increased ambient air temperatures in basement Trichomes still mostly clear... I'm on day 84 post germination today as I write this.

Commencing Week 8: day 50 on January 19th Update is late my sincerest apologies. I will make it up by giving a very thorough smoke report when all is done. Otherwise all is going very well 😁😁👏👏 On day 50 I took the head off of bloody skunk. I checked trichome colors under USB microscope. At least 90% fully milky-white with maybe 5 or 6% Amber and the remainder clear. 😁 On day 55 I gave all of the plants a fan leaf trim including the remaining bottom half of bloody skunk. as I sit here and think about it I believe this will help with ensuring the entire plant ripens and matures at the same time - versus the tops being ready before the bottoms. I still plan on letting the bottoms of all these plants go way beyond the recommended time to see if I can initiate the process of rodelization. Either way I am glad to report that Bloody skunks pollenization looks like it is resulting in some seeds. (See photo). In hindsight my only concern is that because the plant finished a bit earlier than I expected the seeds may not make it to full maturity but I believe it should be okay we'll just have to wait and find out. That being said besides the bloody skunk being done just a few days early everything else seems to be right on time as described in plant profiles on company websites.👍 That's all for now thank you for your patience and attention and support and as usual feel free to leave any suggestions comments or questions and I'll do my best to get back sooner rather than later 😁

What a week, So I did a run off test end of last week and they was really high, but I would like to address the DNA Mills cork as I am using this in just one pot (A) to try it out I used 3/4 (B) to my normal coco in another pot 50:50 (C) in another at a 1/4 (D) then when just my normal coco mix ( E) and I havent seen much difference other then the retention of water... UNTILL NOW. So evaluating all my reading I have from run off this is how it WAS sitting running water with an EC 0.7 Ms/cm A - 2.4 Ms/cm B - 2.3 Ms/cm C - 2.0 Ms/cm D - 1.9 Ms/cm E - 1.5 Ms/cm So my conclusion is that I dont like the cork maybe I'm using it wrong somehow I dont know but in my experience, it seems to be grabbing hold of all the salts and not letting go, so this week I ran litres and litres of water through them to bring them down I can only get A down to 1.4 Ms/cm and am struggling to get it any further down does anyone have any suggestions. As for the deficiency I was supposed to I produce the PK booster beginning of this week and couldn't with the run off being so high, well that's what I'm hoping anyways 😂. Plant A doesn't seem to be swelling like the rest (front left in pictures) I'm hoping this is down to genetics if anyone else has any thought I'd love to hear them. Day 120, Flower Day 63 (end of week 9 of flower) Checked trichomes today on the GSC. Some pictures they look too glassy, and some show some amber trichomes. I decided to harvest today, although I could have waited a week. Filled 6 hangers with GSC cuttings, and have converted bathroom into a dry room. I have a humidifier and a fan in there, plus there's a central air vent, and the room stays pretty cool in the summer. Seems like ideal drying temperature and RH avg of around 60 F. This GSC plant will be my biggest yielding plant to date. I'm thinking 5+ oz once dried.
