Been told this is a lovely strain to grow so looking forward to seeing how she does. Fell over after a few days and needed help to stand up but other than that and some minor calmag defiency which is probably already corrected for, she's doing fine and catching up to the others in the tent fast. I'll intend to record the whole grow this way so follow along for updates and please let me know any tips/tricks any of you may have for recording / editing. During week 9 the flowering continued nicely and all plants developed nice flower crowns. Unfortunately I spotted some brown pistils on some plants and at this stage that only can mean they have been inseminated by pollen. Since I have no male plants around I thoroughly inspect the nodes of all plants from bottom to top. I am searching for hidden male pollen-sacks that have grown on my female plants and sure enough I find several ripe and open pollen sacks on three plants. This means those plants ARE HERMAPHRODITES, plants that have BOTH SEXES, they are female plants that also grow male pollensacks...my ABSOLUTE HORROR! The open pollen sacks have released pollen onto the female pistils around them and this turned the pistils brown. Where those fertilized pistils are, seeds will now start to grow inside the buds of my grow. 😢 After spraying water over the plants, in order to neutralize the free pollen inside, I carefully cut off the hermie-plants on the main stem right above the soil and immediately discard them far away from my grow-tent into the trash. Since I spotted the hermies early, I hope my grow will not be fully seeded, but only have a few seeds grow in some buds here and there. My fingers are crossed! My 'CHEESE'-plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS has turned a little yellow and developed some dark spots on the leaves, which I attribute to the plant standing alone in a tray now. She seems to be overfed a little and getting too much water to the roots. I therefore take her out of the water for a few days, in order to let the medium dry out a little and let the roots get some air. The SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lights work like a treat. They are now running at 100% dimm-level and are hung 30 cm above the top of the plants. The BIO NOVA nutrients are still given at half strength of the recommended dose and some plants seem to be overfed...I have to keep an eye on them.

Well into flowering now. She is definitely a more indica phenotype 😭 I must have lucked out first time round with such a Sativa phenotype 😍 I'd love to know more on this side. The likely phenotypes, and how and why they come about. Also what is the likelyhood/prevalence of each of the phenotypes....... So many questions 😂 But anyway, she's looking absolutely fab. Flowers developing well so on she goes a few more weeks! 👌

DAY 30, LESSON LEARNED It's been a tough few days for the ladies. But, what doesnt kill u makes u stronger😁💪🏾. After my last post the plants started to show some nutrient burn. I believe that happend because after my last defoliation post I gave the plants the same amount of water and nutrients as before. But ofcourse the plants were much smaller after the defoliation, so what I should have done was reduce the amount of water and nutrients. So these last days it was just watching the plants and keeping a close eye on em.

Buds are really fattening up. Now comes the difficult part, deciding when to start the flush and then when to harvest. With likely warming days, quite likely an early harvest is on the cards so I can avoid curing in a hot tin shed. Closely monitoring the extended forecast to hopefully harvest at the perfect time as all will be wasted if curing in a 30c tent. At the moment due to a changing forecast its possible I will only achieve a 5 day flush, and have 3 days to cure in mild temps. Unfortunately from then it looks.like things seriously heat up, if extended curing is required then likely I'll bring in side the house in mason jars during the heat of the day then cure further on the drying rack in my tin shed till during the cooler evenings until ready. No. I know this isn't ideal but I've done this previously and always ended up with good.buds just way more effort that's for sure. This being a secret grow has additional challenges that's for sure. My wife, and 2 teenage kids have no idea what goes on in this shed as to their knowledge only garden tools are stored here, if anyone in my house did gardening apart from me then this grow would be impossible that's for sure

Week 6 went pretty well, +30 during the day, +23 at night, a few yellowed leaves, next time I water her I will give her Espom salt so that she absorbs more magnesium, despite the high heat everything else looks good :) good luck to everyone.

Sept 5th Just Wow, Hoping she makes it through the thunderstorms thats to come. Did a little pruning to max airflow and try prevent mould

Week 7 is upon us! What we have here is a couple of storms, but still some mad sun shine at the same time. You can see the plant is budding nicely and starting to fill in but plenty more growth to go on this one. End of the week is upon us, week 8 incoming next week and what a lovely young lady she's growing up to be! Hopefully she'll be ripe as anything in 4 weeks 😝

Day 15 - The start of week 3 and the girls are really taking off, from 1-2 Inches of vertical growth daily. Consuming a good amount of water, almost leaving the bucket empty. lol. Lightly defoliating to keep the bud sites exposed to light, as they get bushy very fast and recovery is only taking a day for them to bounce back. Pretty happy with how things are going right now. Slightly increased the EC by .2 but not enough to burn them.. which is the goal. Grateful for my trolmaster unit as it has made keeping tracking of my parameters much easier and effortless. Day 16- Topping up the res with RO water every two days. Otherwise I'm sure it would be empty! Pistils are showing and the bud sites are very visible. Seeing one pheno with slightly more sativa dominant traits. Luckily I took clones so I can run the best pheno next time around, although all these plants are special. Still going through the flower stretch. Excited for what is to come. Stay tuned for the results. Day 18 - As you can see, the difference is night and day over a period of 2 days they have had an explosion of growth. They were heavily defoliated on day 17 and bounced back within a day.
