My tried and true method of a 12 hr soak in my proprietary h2O2 blend then into a wet paper towel until I see the taproot. She'll then head to the rockwool cube. Thanks again to Zamnesia and Plagron for allowing me a chance to take these Runtz for a ride!!! She was planted at 12:30 on 12/30... Good omen?
We'll call this the beginning of week 1, she's up and growing. The MegaCrop should push her growth a little and really get her off on the right foot. Debating topping or LST, not sure how this one's gonna play out, but I'll see how fast she make a vertical move before the final decision is made. New week, same deal... She's growing and things are looking good. Roots are now starting to make it to the water so she's going to be upgrading to a little stronger brew on the next rez change.
She's absolutely taking off. Every time I swap the reservoir, she shows her appreciation with another growth spurt. I pulled a couple single leaves off of her and will begin ponytail training this week to push a little energy to the lowers and start getting some side branching. We're getting to that time in an Autoflowers grow cycle where things go crazy, and I'm here for it. Thanks again to Zamnesia and Plagron for letting me throw down in this grow off.
Another solid week of this lady just vegging along. MegaCrop is fueling her growth and she's really guzzling down the water, nearly 16 oz every 18 hrs. If there was a mini hydro category in this grow off I'd decimate all 🤣... Stay tuned I'd say we'll be seeing pistils within a few days, then the fun begins!!
Another stellar week and the quality inn f these genetics shines through. She's been very thirsty, I'm filling this micro sump about every other day and keeping the nutes right at around 1200 EC with a pH of 5.75... seems like her sweet spot. Nice consistent lime green coloring and a very kerosene candy nose on the stem rub. I think this lady and I are going to go down in a blaze of glory once this grow/dry/cure is done. She has really taken well to LST and hasn't been overly offended by the removal of her larger fan leaves. I see a few pistils starting to emerge at the top bud and on a couple lowers, so it's about to start going down for real!
Another solid week, I've upped the EC of the solution a bit to keep her going as she transitions into flower. Starting to get a sweet smell now and I see a few purple pistils mixed in as well. Things are about to get fun!
She's moving along into flower and I've started using a little bloom nutes now that the stretch is tapering off. Took off a few fan leaves that were blocking some bud sites and removed some lower growth that wouldn't make much more than underdeveloped larf. She's definitely crowded in the tent, but she's continuing to go through her paces and should stay on track. She's starting to effervesce and it's a sweet earthy note with a more skunky stem rub. Lets see where this week takes us!
