Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! Just water this week, as it will be the last. She smells super strong. I pulled off a leaf and it smelled super skunky. I’ll be splitting the stem tomorrow, and harvesting by Wednesday.

Week 18 Day 120 | 08/11/2021: I just can’t stop looking at them, they are so plump 🍑 I watered them today with just 1L of plain water because I want to harvest them in 4 days and don’t want them to wilt, but at the same time I know it’s better to let the soil be on the dryer side when harvesting. Day 124 | 12/11/2021: Today the beauties are being harvested!!! So exciting because they’ve been growing for a while and I can’t wait to finally vape them. From day 1, no, even from germination, the seeds were so strong and quite resistant to nutrient deficiencies. Very good and strong genes, I’m really happy that I tried them out! I will be hanging them with the stem to dry for 10-14 days, I keep the leaves so that the humidity can stay high in the tent, I used to struggle a lot with humidity when I would hang them without leaves, and then the buds tasted like hay for the next month, so I try to avoid that now. Can’t wait to see that the total weight is! They are quite big but I think the buds are not extremely dense so it could be deceiving 👀

Can’t believe I got 78g of bud of her! That’s nearly double what I usually get of 1 plant 😂 maybe it was due to giving her 7 weeks of veg, rather than the usual 4 weeks!? Either way I’m buzzing She’s coated in sugar and stinks!! The high is strong giving a massive couchlock and the munchies! She smelt and tasted like usual cheese but obviously much nicer and stronger 😌

Last days for most of them - only Strawberry Cough will stay longer - she is super hungry and I can not keep up with feeding her - most of leaves are yellow now. 😱 The rest - four plants will be harvested on the weekend - 2-3 days from now and frozen - I'll be making bubble hash and fresh frozen live resin from them in the following weeks 😈 Trichomes are mostly milky with some amber starting - ideal ripeness and time to freeze those glands

10/6/2024 Starting to reduce PPM in the reservoir with just pH-adjusted water. Buds are putting on some weight now! Lights are turned up to 95% and raised the one directly over the plant to another inch or so. Recorded daytime air temperature in the tent is around 83F, leaf temperature is 78F. Keeping humidity around 50-55% in the tent. Lung room is set to 45% humidity. 10/8/2024 Noticed some potential light bleaching from the lights likely being too close at too high of an intensity. Backed them down to 90% and will likely remain there for the rest of the week. Some minor nutrient issues showing up with black tips and mild rust spotting on larger fan leaves, maybe early fade, but likely a slight deficiency with a slight p/k excess. Pumped off 2 gallons of reservoir to replace with fresh nutrient solution. 10/9/2024 Plants are showing signs of fade already as mentioned yesterday. Daytime air temps are rising in the tent due to outdoor temps falling and indoor AC not running consistently. I am ok with daytime temps rising to about 82-84F as long as the bud/leaf temperatures stay closer to 80F. Running humidity as low as I am (40-50%) is increasing the VPD (up to 1.8-2.0) on the plants considerably during the daytime. I am glad I left as much plant material as I did as it is helping considerably during these high VPD windows. The smell is amazingly strong with notes of fruit, pine, and a few notes of diesel coming through. Super pungent!

Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.

Day 79 - Added 7 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 7 mL of each additive. PPM is 706. Day 81- Using noticeably less water now. Checked PPM 475. In moving the plant to water, a small branch broke. Trichomes are mostly clear. Started to dry it as a tester for rest of the plant. It takes 7 days for me to dry the tester at 70F and 40RH. Not ideal temp but that is how it goes. Day 82 - Might have seen first amber trichs Day 83 - Added 10 mL of Overdrive. PPM is 430. Trichs are mostly cloudy. Hairs are 80% orange. Branches are leaning from the weight. Day 86 - Added 5 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of each additive. PPM is 588.

Die Pflanze wurde Mitte letzter Woche an Tag 66 geerntet. Getrocknet wurden die Blüten 6 Tage lang bei einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 53% bevor sie nun ins Glas kommen. Getrimmt wurde die Pflanze trocken.

When buds are this heavy and this compact, trimming goes fast and smooth exactly the way I like it. As for bud size… I’d say ostrich egg level

So here we are end of week 9 and is almost the end for Betty . I think 4-5 days and she I'll be ready for the chop . Has been 10 days flush so far and just been feeding her pH water . I will get some better pics up when chopping her down got real bad lighting in my flat and only take out at night .😀

Added DIY supplemental co2. Using water sugar and yeast. Buds on the caramel cream auto are getting fat and just starting to produce red hairs. Trichome coverage is slightly above average. I’m hoping it’s got about 3.5 weeks to go. We shall see. Been only giving it plain ph water as I gave it mild nutrient burn but not too bad. Whenever it gets too hot in there I turn on the AC for a bit and keep the ac on through out the night. Other than that not much to say. See u next week

Been a minute since I’ve posted. Quick update as I’m finishing rebuilding the grow room. Feeding in pure coco 1 time a day 600ml…they are in gallon pots. They’ve doubled in size in 2 weeks! Almost done, low rise flood tables will be here next week and let’s hope for set it and forget it results 🤞
