This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 7/10- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is now entering her ninth week since breaking ground and she is gaining height by the day now! The Papaya Sherbet photo continues to display excellent vigor and overall health. She has a fairly wide node spacing, which is nice as it makes her easier to manage than a bushy plant with tight node spacing. 7/12- Our summer weather continues to be hot, although we do get a break from the heat when we're lucky enough to get some rain which also helps mitigate the daily watering. 7/14- The Papaya Sherbet photoperiod from FastBuds is definitely going through a growth spurt and is gaining inches by the day now! Yesterday it rained the better part of the day, which provided over an inch of rain. Today,I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photo approx. 3g of well water from the garden hose. 7/16- Well the weather and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo are both on fire! Hopefully the weather will cool down soon, and the Papaya Sherbet photo will continue to impress!🤩 There's another week of veg for this beauty and I can't wait to see how big this lady gets! 8/19 - Start of week two and so far everything is going smoothly. Just watering each day w/ RO water and organic black strap molasses. 8/21 - I think I may have two phenotypes going here. It seems I have two of the faster growing/taller pheno and one of the shorter, slower growing pheno. 8/24 - Doing a 24 hour brew of some compost tea for all my plants. I think these new seedlings will love it. 8/25 - Watered all with compost tea. They seem to be coming along nicely. No issues so far!

Day 14 - Everything seems to be going great, not much to say right now! Will be feeding tomorrow! Happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 15 - Feeding day, started a nutrient comparison test between fox farm & technaflora which is why I have both of them listed but I am not mixing them! I have 2 plants on the fox farm & 1 on technaflora! We shall see which comes out better! Day 16 - Ladies are looking great!✌️🏼 Day 17 - Got watered with PH at 6.4 today, all 3 ladies are coming along nicely😍 Day 18 - 🌱✌️🏼 Day 19 - Ladies got watered again today with PH at 6.4, will probably be starting some LST in the next week sometime! Well guys week 5 is complete and she looks to be doing fairly good! She is growing like a champ and right now im trying to figure out what to go to get my light higher, im growing in a closet so im hanging the light on the bar you would usually hang clothes and the canopy is about 6 inches from light surface and im sure she hasnt finished growing yet so i need to figure that out for a better grow. I'm also starting to see some new growth on the bottom branches have leaves that are slowly fading to yellow which makes me think maybe its not getting enough nitrogen? could be that once i flushed my soil from week 3 mistakes that i took out all of it and now it is lacking? I will keep an eye on it regardless but i am just curious what its doing and how i can fix it before it become a real big issue! That being said i am seeing tons of pistils pop up everywhere its actually quite amazing. I guess one thing i am curious of as well as one of the pistils on a calyx have turned orange im not sure what that means for me but ill be keeping my eye on it regardless! Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Day 66 update resulting decision of defoliation. I treated them well but in my opinion they can catch a big breath now :)

Just stripped these down 5 days ago and it looks like a forest already.

At the beginning of week 2 the plants have grown fine, but also developed some yellow leaf-tips, which I assume is from the amount of light they receive. Therefore I decide to hang the both LED-fixtures higher. The LUMATEK ZEUS PRO 600W is now at 75 cm distance and the two SANlight Q6W-Gen.2 are at 90 cm distance from the top of the clones of CANNALOPE HAZE from DNA-GENETICS. The humidity inside the HOMEBOX-tent is kept permanently at 60% during veg. The grow-controller GROWBASE PRO from GROWCONTROL does a GREAT job in keeping a constant environment inside my growtent. As a precaution I put up some yellow sticky traps against fungus-gnats and also hang sachets with predatory mites from KOPPERT (=Thripex PLUS) on every plant. This will prevent spider-mites and thrips to invest my tent, since the predatory mites will eat them right away. I LOVE BIOLOGICAL TREATMENTS and decide on it every time instead of using chemicals, because I grow my own medicine here and dont want ANY CHEMICALS on my cannabis! 👍😎 At the end of week two I slightly increase the light intensity again, by adjusting the dimmers of my LEDs. The Lumatek is now set to 50% dimm-level and the SANlights are running at 60%. Until now there is not much difference to see between the two sides, all plants are healthy and doing well.

C and D dont seem to be doing much growing. E is doing well. Fruit flies are still around. Bought a fly sticky trap last night so hopefully that works. Not an easy thing to find when its snowing outside.

Me gustaría estar más encima este cultivo pero la salud me está impidiendo un poco este 100% con el proyecto. Last 3 days till the chop. Getting put into 36 hours of darkness prior to harvest. Trichomes are where I want them to be.

Took some clones 1 week before flipping to flower but forgot to take pictures. The video of the clones are from oct 1st. The Turnt smelled like chocolate cover strawberries but now are smelling of garlic and pepper with a bit of undertone of strawyberries. The Diesel smelled like lemon pinesol but now smells of citrus mixed with gas. The Banana Clipz smells of berries mixed with skunk. Paradiso smells of citrus mixed with fruit. Lung Buster smelled lightly sweet at first but now smells like berries mixed with a undertone of garlic,funk, and gas . Spilt Paint smells of berries mixed with diesel and funk.

26-4-2021 Last week till harvest and we be cleaning house. She is ready not willing but we have to do what we have to do. Cut off nutrition. She is a slow grower and i think her hardships at the beginning might have stunted her. Her Baby survived though and is in featured in another grow soon. 😎

Stardog room it is looking pretty good and is thriving. Hopefully get the results we asking for. Aya room up to now is giving pretty impressive results and it looks like they like the enviroment even tho its not fully equiped. After adding the c4 neet to celan the insides a little bit more and see how it will react.

Beautiful fade on all the girls. Flushing for a few extra days really made a difference, and i did notice a slight final increase in bud size. Sometimes when you convince yourself it is done cause you are anxious to get it down and dried to smoke a sample you can miss out on a few extra days of bulking and final development. :)

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Sorry for the delay on the weekly updates, had some things I had to attend but I'm back and at it! These pictures were taken a week after the 21 day flower defoliation, day 27 of flower to be exact. Great progress this week with the bud site, glad to see the defoliation is giving it's fruits. Buds are filling in space which is just what I want now, fill up as much space as possible that way in the fast weeks they can fatten up and be nice dense colas. CC1 & CC3 have the best trichome production and bud growth so far despite having the structure all messed up and uneven. I got some nice pics in of that half loop I was talking about last week. Every time I see it I think, ¨Man, I want to grow a canna bonsai." CC2 is doing great, bud formation is going a bit slower than the other two but it's still nice. I'm rooting for this one in highest yield because between the three because she has the most evenly divided canopy. The Aroma got MUCH stronger this week. When I open up the tent it's a sweet caramel punch to the face. Don't mind that punch at all! 😍😍 I've had to raise all my plants because the San Fernando Lemon Kush stretched more than I expected. Bad calculation on my part given it's a sativa I should have expected it would triple in height. So now I've got all my ladies on top of shoe boxes, Playstation box, old ballast boxes, pretty much any sturdy box I could fix. Before putting them in there I cleaned them down, making sure nothing unwanted would be joining the garden. Things look good so far, next week I'll be adding an organic PK boost to the feed.
