The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. They are blooming!! Nice white hairs are showing off the centre and they have start creating a “budd”, I don’t really know since im a newbie but the leave colours are perfect, no excess or anything else shown since im watering with the correct PH Both are truly beautiful, i think next time i will choose a single plant and treat it the beat i can, exposing her to anything i just learned here I thought aswell that i could afford some “top candy” or “top bloom” but I don’t really know if it will improve a lot or if its worth the money Better air flow during days due to new big fan working

This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

So I topped the girls again and moved them outside to the natural sun for the rest of the season.They are thriving and enjoying Mother Nature as intended for these girls.

Slightly slower start and flower initiation with this one but impressed with the amount of flower sites all over and is pretty pungent although it’s merely just started flowering can’t wait to kick back and taste this one

Hey guys, The week went pretty smoothly and flowers are starting building up. I'll soon introduce Bloombastic for 10 days, increasing from 0.5 to 1.5 ml per liter. Other than that, this phenotype are bringing out some gorgeous color, and they are starting to smell. Now she's finally alone in the tent so I hope she will build up a little more. So 3 weeks in, 4 were males, unfortunately all 4 were descendants of mephisto’s gen’s. Bit disappointed about that but what can ya do. After growing 10 of the bitches at once I am NEVER doing that again. People always talk about how many they want to grow before they do… to those that haven’t started in this pursuit yet, heed my warning lol. They just hit their pre flower growth spurt, I did have 30 days marked on their lives on a reminder on my phone to defoliate because last grow I had so much larf. The fog dog grows nice and stout, the glue sniffers tall and lanky. Both phenos differ very little. I cut off like 3/4 of the bottom nodes off each. Fingers crossed they take it well.

In week 7 the 12 plants have filled out the space inside the HOMEBOX grow-tent very nicely and therefore its time to switch to flowering. I change the timer, which I put infront of the supply of my SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs, to 12/12 hours of light/darkness. This will induce the flowering of my babies and they can start to develop buds. The BIO NOVA nutrients work very well, which can be seen in the nice healthy green color of the plants. I follow the SOIL-CULTIVATION chart from the BIO NOVA website, but use only half the recommended dose, because my tap-water already has a very high EC-value of 0,8 when it comes out of the faucet. Since I have used REGULAR seeds for THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT, I have to check for males on a regular basis. Two plants show clear male pollen-sacks already now (see above in video) and have to be culled right away. I cut the plants off at the main stem right above the soil and take away the plants and throw them into the trash right away. This way I make sure NO pollen can mature inside the male pollen-sacks and be released later and inseminate my babies on accident. In the places of the male PURPS plants, I put a MAC and KK-plant into the AUTOPOT-system, so all 12 placed are filled again. Now its time to wait until the first flowers start to appear. 👍😎

Good feeding of tea Sunday with full dose of my organic tea with plenty of pk for them girls! Gonna stop the fish emulsion because of the high N because it's full flower and my other tea ingredients should do just fine! We'll see! Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. This week we should really see these colas blow up and start stacking really strong. The mixer of 7 hours of sun and 17 hours under my LEDs has really helped my girls grow strong. Nothing compares to good old Mother Nature.

Cookies and Cream is more sativa then expected. The plants were difficult to germinate but since they're growing outside there is no stopping. Flowering is slowly starting to develop. I see many budsites but still small budlets.. ik hope there is enough time this season to finish because this strain is hyping me up
