D-56 : The girls are great, beautyful and starting to stretch fast. No deficiency, no watering or feeding trouble, the temperature is a bit high but this variety are really comfortable with temperatures between 27 and 30°C, so I maintain it around 27-29°c during the day time. The horizontal space is fully occupied already. But, I guess the Desfrans are growing vertically now. However, I'll continue to reasonably defoliate to let light and fresh air go through the canopy. As I start the second flowering week, the flowers should apear... can't wait to see the first ones !

A little update! Everything has come up to canopy and is in full flower now! The four royals are the centre 4 I will add some close ups next weeks of all bud sites of each plant! Stay tuned as my favourite of all time is in this run! Legendary og punch 🥊 can’t wait! 6 more weeks to go on Monday!

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Dosidos continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall with stacked buds. I am interested to see how big the buds will be. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Flushed and getting ready towards harvest

Day 127: nothing remarkable to report. Smells good. Day 128: preparing for harvest. New toy, the Trim Tray, arrived today. Decided to put off watering until tomorrow although I think it could use a gallon. Day 129: added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Day 130: no water added Day 131: no water added. I really want to harvest but I really feel like it needs one more week. Day 132: added one gallon pH6.5 water with two tablespoons Herculean Harvest Day 133: I really want to harvest today but suspect I need one more week. Thoughts?

Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!! Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky. Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth. EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update. —-smoke report—- The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes. High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level. As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!

Hello everyone nothing really to report we are getting some extreme growth and I am loving it. The girls are super happy with their environment. They look droopy because i just fully watered their pots. I gave them some molasses, calmag and kelp. Nothing mas, I think next week I will start to go 25% on the Remo lineup. That foxfarm happy frog/ocean forest mix is excellent for the lazy grower lol just water all the way until it's time to flower basically. Also big shout out to Optic, their lights have my weed growing like weeds ! I had to turn off the GMAX150 for the pics since it does emit a orange hue(due to lack of blue LEDs) but the Phatslim XL is perfect for pics. Let me know if you have any questions or comments :)

1/4/26 1:26 AM. This is me starting a diary accidentally a day too early iced tea had some problems. The cocoa had something in it and the root hit it and it screwed up so I’ve flushed it out. I put another seed in and she’s doing just great. I’ve never had this happen before so I must’ve. Hi, everybody. Today my plants 55 days. They look very good, cheerful. I had a problem with the lamp today. I don't know what's wrong with her after the photo shoot, but she did not turn on even after it cooled down, had to be replaced by a spare, though it has a slightly different spectrum. 😟 I found that the smell was very strong, air filtration fails, the stench goes through a little passive blowing and smells of the whole apartment. When my greenhouse is closed the smell is, but not strong, but when I work in it, it is necessary to ventilate the room for a long time. And for me this dangerously.
