Well I ended up having to break down my grow this week. Long story but I took some clones of these to do again in a few months. Sucks big time but only a minor setback. This was the last pictures I have of the grow before I chopped them down to break down the tent.

Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light. Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out. Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback. End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days. 📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Fun week! Got to transplant all the babies and i started lst on them to get some more lateral growth and better yeilds! No problems when transplanting roots looked good, you could tell that some had way more roots then others not sure if thats due to light positions or if its just genetics Its interesting because as far as general growth the Chocolate Marshmallow has was more internodal growth and branching, shorter plants but also trained very easily. As in stems where not too stiff but stiff enough that after the first trainung they pretty much stayed in place with minor adjustments needed the Double Ds on the other hand grew very tall with little to no horizontal growth and very large internodal spacing! And as far as training goes these stems where stiff and rock hard had a couple LST turn into HST or slight super cropping because i was a little too aggressive too quick! One DD had a top half snap practically all the way off but i just taped it up and lst the plant to lean into the break and it is doing just fine!

it wasnt a hard grow at all the organic nutes i have make it just that simple just add water and also i look for a sturdy genetic and roll with it but i can say the overall grow on all the strains in that area would have made it a real nice hues of different colors and just the 14 weeks i was on that journey it was nice and easy

Super impressed with the vertical growth on the costa mesa haze plants. Fimed everything week ago, really helped in shooting out more nodes. Already showing buds on CMH.

Supper cropped because plant got taller than expected. Was too close to light. Tallest branches around 3 feet tall. I defoliated 2 weeks into flower. I also took clones today. Sweet gassy smell. Have light on 75% intensity since it is so close. Depending how plants respond I may just keep the intensity there.

Had some family time last week and unfortunately caught covid with all the symptoms. I've been bed bound since Monday and today I'm starting to feel slighty better. Obviously have a light leak but think I've sorted it now. The mystery is just well under feed as I've run out of Bloom and big Buds and its also gone into reveg. The other coco ones haven't gone into reveg and almost look done. Biscotti Mintz and Bahama Bussdown look 🔥 well impressed. The mutant Biscotti Mintz (soil) has come along nicely and looks amazing. I don't get why that hasn't revegged as its surrounded buy the others that have. The 2 at the back, (Bahama Bussdown) ones taken a slight knock and revegged and the other one has just got to heavy and collapsed. Again looks near enough done so now need to think of a plan of action for curing as tent will be occupied for at least another month. So I think that's it with the problems 🤣 .. Apologies again for not getting back to anyones dairys over the last 2weeks. I'm going to spend the weekend catching up with you all and sorting out the tent as long as I'm covid clear.
