Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! This girl has definitely stopped stretching, so now almost all of the growth is going to be located at the buds. I plant to increase nutrient concentration, but also light intensity (this one by pulling the LEDs closer to the canopy). This week it will hang at 30 cm from the top of the canopy, maybe next I will push it further to 20 cm next week... By the way, the thunderstorms are over so now I can consistently keep the humidity around 45% with just the 3 cpu fans ;) I am experimenting with trying to clone some branches even after 5 weeks of flowering. It's just for the LoLs, and to learn a little bit. I took a lot of clones from the bottom of this plant before with great success during defoliation, so I decided to up the challenge. I know you shouldn't stress the plant too much during flower, but she seems healthy enough to take it without a problem. // on the nutes of this week// So this week I decided to up the nutes again to 1.0, as the lower leaves are showing deficiencies, and this time the EC of the runoff is low (plus I've been feeding only 0.8EC or 400ppm, which is much less than people generally feed at this stage), so I'm more confident that it's not a nutrient lock out. We will see how she likes it. Remember that my noob friendly approach is that keeping my plant on a diet is better than killing it by overfeeding it.

So it's been almost a week under the new MARS HYDRO FC4800 and the girls are loving it.. leaves were straight up like they were at a rock concert just blowing in the wind waving their arms like they are in the moshpit🤣🤣 looked so sweet👍. after a day they have stretched so much I had to raise the light already to keep it at 14 inches above the canopy. Plants grow so uniform under these lights, canopy is always nice and even👍. it has a whiter light than the mars tsw2000. Being side by side in my 8x8 tent, I can really see the difference in the color of light. The FC4800 is more of a white light like natural light. I think it might be the blue uv Diodes they added to the fc series lights. I'm amazed at how good this light is already. Barely any heat comes off it. I can rest my hand on it when the dimmer is at 100% and it's just warm. I have it daisy chained to my TSW2000 and it works awesome👍 and I dont have to reach for the other dimmer to do both. One dimmer controls both lights. When I add more lights I will daisy chain them too and control 4 lights from 1 dimmer👍. I still love my tsw2000. It's been going almost non stop since I got it and no issues at all. I take a picture of the Diodes to see if any have burnt out or anything, everything is fine.  same thing with the heat it gives off is just like the FC4800. I can rest my hand on it without burning me👍. Having both lights on 100% because I in flower now, only raises my temperature about 3°celcius. Make sure you got some calmag and if you use reverse osmosis water (bottled water) or filtered water you will want extra calmag because it's filtered out of it👍. These lights are perfect for every stage of growth for germination to flower. Just use the dimmers to reduce the intensity of the lights for whatever stage you are in. Plus they are easy to raise and lower them with the ratchet straps. MARS HYDRO'S recommended height for different stages is pretty accurate but different strains like different Temps and light sensitivity so that's something to look into, a more Mediterranean strain can take more heat and intense lighting. and you can just follow their recommendations for the height for each stage. I slowly turn it up in the later veg cycle until I'm at 75% about a week before I switch to 12/12 and after about 4 or 5 days into flower I'm at 100% with no heat or light stress👍. Mars hydro is awesome for their pricing for what you get👍. They should cost alot more than other brands but shhhhh don't tell them🤣🤣🤣🤣. Just kidding. they want to stay competitive with every brand but there stuff is always cheaper than SF and vipar etc. They know once you use mars hydro products you won't switch to another brand. Why pay more money for something that isn't as good. I've seen lights cheaper than mars but they are cheaper for a reason. They are built cheaper. My TSW2000 is fairly heavy too. But when it comes to getting lights you want some weight to it so you know it's built strong and sturdy and will last a long time.. I called customer service a few times and they will help you out with any questions you may have about the products and they are very well educated in their products👍 very helpful and very friendly. They are awesome 🤜🤛. I can't say enough about this grow tent too. The thing is a beast. I've owned a gorilla grow tent before and MARS HYDRO TENTS are better. Don't waste the money on a gorilla tent, get a mars and save a couple hundred bucks for your fertilizers and soils👍🤜🤛I could use the canvas tent to make a trampoline and i doubt it would break its that thick👍 I've had some cheaper tents made of 600d canvas and they aren't that bad. But when you get a tent made from 1680D canvas material it's insane how strong and heavy it is. Before I put the tent together when I lifted the canvas to start wrapping the frame I said to myself.. LORD TUNDERIN JESUS this has some nice weight to it. It was the easiest tent to put together that I've ever had. I went inside with the lights off and got someone to turn it on after a minute or two to look for light leaks and there was none👍. It even blocks out some noise, so if your fans or filters are loud, once it is zipped up it gets quieter. this tent is awesome with So many ports and vents for whatever you need to hook up to it. It has frame bars down the middle and one vertical pole in the middle to keep it sturdy but the poles are made nice and so thick that they probably didn't even need a vertical bar in the middle. It has 2 separate 4x8 floor trays that divide it into 2 4x8 tents. All you need is a mylar divider to easily divide it in half. I love the stickers it comes with. It's nothing big to some people but I know there is lots of people that like them because you see them everywhere in people's tents and in pictures. I love them they are super cool stickers👍. It really locks in the light and temperature and humidity good. Lots of room for all the equipment I have to go in it and will get to put in it. Be good to bring camping too🤣🤣🤣🤜🤛. Slight nutrient burn on the super silver haze and the banana. I have backed them up in feed from 10ml per gallon back to 8, it seems to have done the trick the last couple days. Both banana and super silver haze are trucking along quite well I think otherwise. I have officially decided to start my flushing on the black domina x Scott's og, trichomes are about half milky half clear, not sure if I should be doing a full flush or continue feeding through week 7 and start flush on week 8 I'm not overly sure lol see how it goes anyway. These two were my first tries with autoflowering seeds. I started the seeds directly in their final medium, which is Plagron's Growmix, and the seeds became a plant only in 4 days! They say, this soil has nutrients for the first 3 weeks, but the plants still looking very good in week 6! I only use tapwater, and hopefully, it will be enough for them till the end. To be honest, I'm a bit afraid of nutrients, and as I see in other diaries, it's not really necessery, if you run autos. I also don't do any training, only hiding some bigger leaves, and maybe some lollipopping at the end.

* ************** Week 6 - May 16 to 22, 2020 - Days 36 to 42 from germination **************** * Calling this week a flower week but it is certainly more of transition week. Been battling a busy life along with pH issues this grow. Starting to get both under control😃 Not sure what is up with the pH but running through some 5.5pH feeds to help keep it in mid to low 6 range. She started to feed more this week, her pot drying out quicker. Wanting to get the pH in line as I want to be giving her 6.1 feeds right now. This girl has stayed in the fabric pot while two other girls were transplanted to plastic pots to help with the pH. I suspect the issue is around these fabric pots?? I have cut two large slits in the bottom of the pot to let the excess moisture run out easily and not allow it to sit in the bottom. It felt like there was some slowness in grow at the middle of the week so reviewed the fresh air and ensure circulation is flowing properly. She is really wide in structure and slower growing vertically. By the end of the week she was looking wonderful for the end of flower. Her size is perfect and will be starting a stretch soon. She has been getting silica so its time to get her branches pulled out while they still bend easily. LST was done in the middle of the week. Started the introduction of Rezin and Terpinator now to her feed. Little more detail....... May 16/20 - Day 36 - 2L feed - Velokelp, Rezin @ 2ml, Sensyzime, Liquid Weight @ 1ml, Massive @ 3ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - 1000ppm and 4.5pH. - She took all the feed today without runoff. She is getting hungry - she is taking her time perking up. - funny,,,,,,she looks like LST has been done to her but its just her growth May 17/20 - Day 37 - 2L feed - Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml Rezin, L. Weight, CalMag @ 1ml Massive @ 2.5ml - 1050ppm and 5.5 pH going in. - She seems to be forming a good root ball......it takes over two lites to get runoff now. - still working on her buds....pistols are there. - Pulled a couple of the large fan leaves at second node from the top....blocking too much light now. May 18/20 - Day 38 - 3L feed - Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel, Rezin, L. Weight, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml Massive @ 3ml - 850ppm and 5.7pH - run off numbers: 490ppm and 6.1pH ———- perfect!! - LST done today and side branches pulled down. May 19/20 - Day 39 - Dry out day - standing up today and reacted well to stripping and training yesterday May 20/20 - Day 40 - 2L feed - CalMag, Sensyzime, Rhino @ 1.5ml Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 650ppm and pH 6.1 - Pots were light today when lifted so she is eating well, also the slit in the bottom of the pot helps to dry out faster Many 21/20 - Day 41 - 1.5L feed - Rezin and Terpinator @ 1.5ml = 160ppm and 5.7pH - she is doing good, just not going crazy....hmmmmm - increased fan speed to ensure good circulation May 22/20 - Day 42 - dry out day - she is trying to set her buds but they still are not quite there - She’s a wide girl.....LST working - She darker but not a big concern. So we are at the end of week 6. I sure don’t see her being done in two weeks......suspect will be looking at 70 day range at least.

Day 115 since seed touched soil. Twins are done. Was very nice plants to grow, waiting for results ... Happy Growing !!!

She's starting to bulk up, and I've cut my nutrients back in anticipation of the flush. She is a beauty and I love the colors she is displaying. I'm starting to get a distinct smell of burnt tires and rotten organic from her, with just a hint of sweetness. I love the smell! I added some plant ties this week to hold some of her branches up. Many of her branches are starting to droop under the weight of the buds, but nothing I can't handle. No problems this week and she is looking great.
