Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Week 13, Harvest time is soon! I was able to give the plant some waterings of KoolBloom and the flushing process has began! I ran some ClearEx in the flushing process with 6.0ph water. This grow has been a great experience and I am excited to see what she looks like once I wet trim her :) I am going to cut down soon and have an update with pics and etc. It appears the buds did grower denser from the last past week or so. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. two of the four females are way behind compared to the others, the pistils are just starting to show up now, while in the other four the pistils are already quite fat. as it's my first time, I'm not sure how much time I have left to harvest, but I believe it's around 5 weeks.

Start of week 5... Looking back at the first few weeks of veg, i never imagined that they would thrive this good in week 5 already! (Look back at week 1+2 for horror pictures) Whole of week 4 i worked on my climate control automation. I will keep the set up for atleast a week. 👽👉26/9 Big LST day. I got new supplies to manage the rest of the ladies properly. Topped another one ( 5/6 is topped) Cut just a couple of leaves. The crusty ones that did not receive light and the ones casting shadows over my lovely budsights. 👽👉27/9 Waterday* and recovery 2ml/L Bio heaven + fish mix / 6.4 PH 1.68 ECLetting them recover Humidity a bit higher during night because of watering, turned the temp up to match the VPD. 👽👉28/9 They look content, humidity a bit higher during night because of watering. 👽👉29/9 I am happy how you thrive, but they need some pruning/defoliation as soon as they have recovered from the stress training. 👽👉30/9 Did some defoliation, decided to flip to flower after their recovery. 👽👉1/10 They had a case of empty humidifier, resulting in high vpd for 7hours. Water day* 2.1xml/L Bio heaven + fish mix / 6.2 PH 1.75 EC 👽👉2/10 They look great, healthy and happy! Climate is back on point

Every has gone absolutely smooth so far with growing this girl. Full 8 weeks old today & 21 days into flower. She has a fairly strong sweet smell & her buds continue to bulk up. As I just harvested 1 plant , it's created a bit of space for me to put her into the Flowering tent for 12 hrs each day & move her back to veg for the remaining 8 hrs, as I'm running 780watts in the flower tent, hopefully this will bulk them up more. Simple L.S.T. grow grew her out a few nodes & bent her over & tied her down, doing a similar thing with the side branches. Then I've just let her go & do her own thing & haven't done anything other than feed her, haven't really had to do any defoliation as there's not that many leaves on her naturally. Week 9 has officially started, and she's entering the final phase with some real beauty. Buds are swelling up across the canopy with a thick layer of frost and lots of white pistils still pushing. Trichomes are now clearly visible under magnification with early signs of cloudiness, but no amber yet. The lower fan leaves have started to fade naturally, and I’m starting to see hints of purple coming through on some of the sugar leaves and bracts. I gave her a full-strength compost tea at the end of Week 8 and topped off the auto-watering base to keep her coasting. Temps have been high due to a heat wave, spiking around 88°F, but airflow and moisture have been stable thanks to the dual fan setup and bottom watering. I also added DE to the topsoil to knock back a few gnats and placed sticky traps nearby. No training this week so far, just light tucking and one small defoliation session in the center of the canopy to improve airflow. She's healthy, sticky, and starting to ripen — right on track for harvest in the next couple of weeks.
