These babies are 4 weeks today. I think I might have stunted them abit. With coco staying wet for too long( cool temps and high humidity) so repoted with some perlite. I am going to try and follow the vpd chart and hence increase temperature abit. I was only planning on giving a 8 week veg but these might be longer. Still need to main line and repot to 12 lt pot so have 4 weeks to do that will keep you all updated peace out.

1 Leaf is obviously 1 tough customer....but is he tough enough? Can he hang with the present level of toughness he possesses? Watch and find out! (apparently my plant thinks it's a dude) Defoliated pretty heavily toward the end of the week. partly to try to stunt growth a bit but also promote more growth once it kicks in. Got a log jam going in my flower tent and not sure what to do. May just designate 3 mothers then cram 3 in to flower in a few weeks when its opened up. This is what happens when you feel like you cant throw away anything that might be clone-able. I've gotten past it thankfully and learned a lesson in how to time things next time.

🌱 Animal Mints — Week 5 from Seed (12/12) Special Report: Mixed Timelines – Pre-Flower & Flower Quick recap for new readers This run is a 12/12 from seed project, designed to observe structure, resilience, and expression without extended veg. This week is special because two different timelines are happening in the same room, offering a clear comparison of development paths. ⸻ Plant Timelines Overview 🌿 Plant A — “12/12 from Seed” • Timeline: 12/12 from seed • Stage: Entering pre-flower • Training: Light leaf bending & tucking only • Condition: • Extremely lush, deep healthy green • Calm posture, no stress signals • Very balanced structure when viewed from above This plant is transitioning gently and naturally, exactly what we want to see at this stage. ⸻ 🌸 Plant B — Short Veg → Flower • Timeline: ~15 days under 16h light, then flipped • Stage: Early flower, clearly more advanced • Training: No training at all • Structure: • Classic Christmas / pine tree form • Strong apical dominance • Already showing clear calyx formation and bud building Despite no training, the structure is beautiful and symmetrical. From above, both plants resemble a compact bush — a great illustration of how genetics express across timelines. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions (Week 5) This was a tricky environmental week due to cold external conditions: • Outside: ~4°C with ~98% RH • Inside tent: • Temperature: ~21°C • RH: ~58% (stable and acceptable) • CO₂: ~666 ppm • Plant response: Calm, steady, resilient — no signs of stress The plants are handling the cold remarkably well so far. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy • Top lighting: • 100% power • PPFD: 700–850, depending on plant height • Under-canopy lighting: • Being introduced by the end of this week • Starting at 30% power, intentionally low The goal is not intensity yet — just to signal photon availability from below while maintaining strong top-down light. 🙏 Thanks to Lumiflora for the under-canopy lights being tested 🙏 Thanks to Future of Growth for the main fixtures ⸻ 💧 Watering, Nutrition & Philosophy Water source • Rainwater + dehumidifier water mix • This is why Cal-Mag Pro has been added preventively • Not due to deficiency • But to ensure stability during early flower with low-mineral water This is explained intentionally to avoid future issues, not to correct current ones. ⸻ Feeding structure Autopots (6 plants – mineral only) • EC: 2.29 • pH: ~6.0 • Reservoir = mineral only (organic mixes don’t behave well in tanks) Hand-fed plants (including some Autopot plants) • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9 • Organic + mineral mix • Autopot plants receive top feeding once per week This approach requires more work — but it allows: • Individual plant observation • Weight checks before watering • Natural dry-backs • A deeper connection with each plant’s drinking behavior Dry-outs are intentional and combined with enzyme applications, helping recycle dead root matter into available nutrients and encouraging active root exploration. ⸻ Genetics & General Impression I’m genuinely impressed by Animal Mints genetics: • Consistent structure across timelines • Strong health signals • Calm, resilient behavior under less-than-ideal external conditions Both plants are showing real promise, each in their own way. 🙏 Thanks to Zamnesia 🙏 Thanks to Plagron And thanks to everyone following along — supporters, skeptics, haters, lovers — everyone has a place here. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Expect: • Clear flower progression on the vegged plant • Pre-flower stacking on the 12/12 plant • Plants responding to under-canopy photons • Increased differentiation between timelines Don’t expect: • Heavy defoliation • Aggressive feeding changes • Forced development This run is about listening, not pushing. ⸻ Final note This week is officially marked as Week 5 Flower in GrowDiaries, but in reality it’s a blend of pre-flower and flower stages — and that’s exactly why this report matters. 👽 New team member Meet Mr. Baggy Our new fluffy alien/beaver/whatever-he-is friend, won through a Grow Diaries contest. Expect to see him around — he’s officially part of the grow now. Week 5 Veg/pre-flower | 8×8 Tent | Master Conditions 🌍 External Environment (Context) • Outside temperature: ~5 °C • Outside RH: 92–96% (very high humidity) • Strong seasonal pressure influencing internal stability ⸻ 🌡️ Internal Tent Conditions • Tent temperature: ~21.8 °C (noted drop due to cold external temps) • Tent RH: ~58% → Very good considering outside conditions ⸻ 💨 Airflow & Circulation • Primary airflow: Bottom → top → wall return • Pattern: Full-room vortex circulation • Additional fans: Central airflow to break blind spots and mix layers • Goal: No stagnant pockets, uniform VPD across canopy ⸻ 💧 Water Source & Rationale • Water: Dehumidifier water + rainwater • Base EC: force • Systems designed to support plant intelligence, not override it FOR DISCOUNT CODES AND MORE JUST FOLLOW THE LINK https://website.beacons.ai/dogdoctorofficial 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.

Wasn’t planning on updating this diary until after the cure, but why not. She was harvested on August 10, and placed into an empty grow tent at 60F & 55% RH. By August 17, the outer buds were dry enough, so I had used a wood moisture meter to measure the moisture content of the inner buds and they were ready to jar. I didn’t measure wet weight as I hung the entire plant whole and didn’t want to account for the weight of stems & fan leaves on the plant, but dry weight was 90.45 grams For my first grow, I don’t know if I did everything right… I will know by the end of cure, but so far I am more than content with the way she turned out. I have another Bourbon Berry Twenty20 outdoor grow I might post on here soon which is currently curing, & Chocolate Haze by RQS which is in week 2 of flower.

Esta cosecha fue muy buena con excelentes resultados de flores muy compactas y demasiado resinosas , la genética en sí es muy resinosa con olor muy característico , con sabores terrosos muy marcados .

GSCE is making crazy gains. The BB has also started to pack on great weight but much more bushy and has passed the GG4 in both size and appetite. As for the GG4 for not sure why she slowed down for a little while but as of today(Day30) she is starting to strech out more like the GSCE. The rando bag seed is starting to really take off as well noticed small pistils starting just a couple of days ago. Bumped the watts up to 290w(85%) probably wont go any higher. 4/11 Week 5 has ended and im more then pleased with the results so far being that this is my very first time growing. The GG4 has shown the most growth these past couple of days as far as the autos go. The bag seed on the other hand had streched at least 8" in less than 1 week. If anyone has any suggestions, tips, criticism whatever ill take any and all of it.

Very sticky the gorilla glue it ended up with oil leaking from the buds i believe that was due to genetics and a new terpene booster im using which helps with the plant producing more oils and terpenes, rosin all though it took almost ten weeks for this plant to flower it turned out great i will be growing this again as i have seeds on the way already

Been too busy to update the last few weeks, but they’re surviving longer then I expected. When I received my new light I did not take in consideration of the heat output and within the first night of use the tent reached a scorching 88 degrees

I just dont want to waste it. Plants are noticeably more vigorous. I am wondering if now is a good time for my defoliation. i was planning for Week 5. I feel like the buds are to developed for me to be pruning off lower buds and makes me feel like i should have pruned beginning of week4 __________

As you can see, our macro lens arrived, we were able to take several photos and see the trichomes, we had never seen them so close before. We also noticed that many pistils have turned brown in the last days of this week but the trichomes are clear yet. The smell is getting stronger, reminds us of fresh fruits, mango and a little citrus. We are excited, she is healthy and smells good, but a little concerned with the development of buds and if they are within the standards for this week. Despite having many trichomes and the pistils turning brown, we are not noticing a significant fattening of the flowers (correct us if we are wrong). hahaha, noob stuff =)

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. TrolMaster Hub & Data Monitoring Throughout the week, we have been closely monitoring our grow using the TrolMaster App TM+. We are displaying some of the collected data for everyone to see the details. Stay tuned as we explore this further in the next report! As always, we want to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors and the amazing community. Special thanks to Aptus, Groovebags, Cannakan, Promix, Ziggy Papers, TrolMaster, and Plagron, Zamnesia and Grow Diaries for making the Eternity Cup possible. I apprecilove the support from all sides—lovers, haters, competitors, and fellow growers. The competition continues to push us to improve, and i am thrilled to see the incredible reports from others. This is a challenging yet rewarding experience, and i couldn’t be happier to be part of it. For those following along, we invite you to check out our YouTube channel, where we upload full 4K episodes showcasing the entire journey. Some episodes are too large to be uploaded directly to Grow Diaries, so YouTube is the best place to catch everything in high definition. This marks the end of VEG, and we are officially ready to flip to FLOWER. Next week, we will dive into the TrolMaster System in action, check the data insights, and monitor how the garden adapts to the shift. Stay tuned!
