Surf Purp Week 6 Flower The last week before flush. All nutrients apart from PK and sugars have been stopped. This brought the ppm/EC down, plus Remo Bloom was reduced slightly now they're not so hungry. With that being said I'm still using a lot more with this line than I'm used to. Only because the remo nutrients feeding chart lists them so strong, which I'm already a lot lower than. In future I'll try reducing them and see how they cope and perform, but that's just part of dialing it in to your own specific set up. Now that they're close to flush they're starting to get slightly more pale, with #2 and #4 showing some purpling too. This is because they are slowly coming to the end of their cycle, so they no longer need heavy feedings and are now eating less and beginning to cannibilise. They're all very frosty and giving off an insane amount of smell. At this point I'm more or less certain that #4 is a keeper, with the most unique terpene profile out of the 4 females. It smells like rotting candy/fruit with a lot of gas ⛽ it's also a close call between #1&2, as they're very similar to each other yet so different to #4. These two have the sweetest, most pungent smell of blueberries but with very slight differences between them that could change more throughout flush (and even after drying and curing). The keeper from these two will more than likely be decided after drying and curing. One or two of the main cola's on #4 are way too close to the light, with one top bud showing clear signs of burning. When you look closely, parts of the burns are brown as you would expect, and others are bleached white. These are both from heat and light damage, and aren't ideal. But, it's only the one bud on one plant so I'm not going to stress over it. In fact, she's smelling that incredible that you wouldn't even know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

Week 26 Sweet Love is ready for harvest. Part of Spicy CBD plant 1 is also ready. Spicy CBD plant 2 is a few weeks away. Plants are developing differently on different parts. I think I may explain it a little better with a video. Temperature is back to normal hot with humid air. Humidity and VPD: Hottest part of the day during the week; 34 degree C, Humidity 64%, VPD 1.9 Coolest part of the night during the week; 24 degree C, Humidity 73%, VPD 0.8 62 days of flowering for Spicy CBD plant 1. One branch looks ready. And is dripping wet. However, trichome is still clear and just start to get cloudy. And I have started to trim off the bigger fan leaves. I think next week will be a good time to harvest for this branch. Another branch still looks like it has a few more weeks to go. 50 days of flowering for Sweet Love. Sweet Love is small. The buds looks fluffy and light. Does not look like she would yield much. The smell is very much green mango with a hint of pepper spice. Pulled off fan leaves. On some part, trichome is ready. On most of the plant, buds are ready. I'll throw away the part that is not ready. I don't think they'll do much any more. And Sweet Love is in the shadow of Spicy CBD. 50 days of flowering for Spicy CBD plant 2. One branch looks good. A few more weeks for buds to ripen. The other branch is still young with hardly any flower. Light Feeding with yoghurt and molasses to encourage potency. A dose of light compost tea and another dose of potassium salt to help ripen flower. Bugs and mold are in check. VPD is down a bit but I don’t see a need to spray anti-mold microbes with such fluffy buds. Feeding summary Monday evening – Compost tea ( 1.5 ml / liter compost tea + 1.5 ml/liter humic acid). Tuesday evening – Yoghurt ratio ( 1 liter yoghurt to 5 liter of water) Wednesday evening – Molasses ( 2.5 ml / liter). Thursday – none Friday evening. 1.5 ml/liter compost, 0.5 gram / liter potassium salt, 0.5 ml cal mag.

everything is going very well, the girls have developed, we have found a hermaphrodite, what a surprise my colleague got when he found one with eggs, what a scare! I saw a video of a Mexican whose technique consists of breaking the male balls and letting the flower clean and do it every day as soon as new shoots come out, there comes a time when they no longer grow and only the female hairs follow, I will see that That's how it goes, if I can, when I visit the indoor, a photo of the hermaphrodite will be taken, only one of the girls, I don't know if she got stressed or what happened, the others continue to flower normally, big beautiful females, I'm amazed, how many showed my first crop, I see it great what do you think friends

Day 15 Flower (Day 57) The first day of week 3 of flower. I switched the light recipe in my main tent from the Flower Induction program to the Flower program now when the right girl is in flower. I also gave her 3 liters of pH 6.1 water. The left girl didn't need any water though. That was all today. Day 16 Flower (Day 58) All I did today was to give each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. Day 17 Flower (Day 59) I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 5.9 water today. It's a bit low maybe (added too much pH down and was too lazy to fix it) but should be alright. My pH is different each watering anyway, as I aim to optimize nutrient uptake by covering a broader pH range. The left girl didn't need any today as she drinks a lot less due to being smaller. That being said, she is now hitting the light :/ It was never my intention to grow her in such a confined space, but here we are. She should have been trained differently and vegged shorter to grow correctly in such a small space. I have ordered a new, taller tent which will arrive next week. Until then, she'll be snug, and I don't think I can take any canopy pics for a few days. I started brewing some compost tea following the same recipe as previously (worm castings, rock dust, biochar, lime, bentonite, neem meal, kelp meal, and molasses), but I upped the castings, the neem, and the kelp. Long overdue as it was over two weeks since last time. I will feed this tea (unfiltered) tomorrow after 24 hrs of brewing. Day 18 Flower (Day 60) Today I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.3 compost tea that brewed for 26 hours. I also added a few tablespoons worth of alfalfa seeds that I ran through a blender first to beat up into a powder. I didn't filter the tea, so all ingredients ended up as a top dressing that will get watered in as time goes. The small tent is packed, and the girl is pressing up against the light. It got to hold out until next week, so it is what it is. It is getting a bit cramped in the main tent as well, so I moved up the lights as far as I could without going full McGyver. It's the first time I grow this strain, but she sure is a stretcher. The weather has gotten warm here (finally!), but of course, now my tent is getting even hotter. I'm trying to combat it to some extent by running the extractor fan more. That will get the temp down a bit, but unfortunately, it will also cause the humidity to drop. I put in my small humidifier to help with that, so the VPD is still in a reasonable range. Day 19 Flower (Day 61) I defoliated the right girl today by removing some leaves and branches low down where the lights don't reach. The left girl must also be done, but I'll work on her when she is between tents next week. I also gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. That was it for today. Day 20 Flower (Day 62) All I did today was to water each girl with 3 liters of pH 6.7 water. I hope that my new tent arrives sooner rather than later since the left girl is pushing up so much against the light that the top flowers are starting to get burnt. Wonderful... :( I've turned down the light as low as it goes (15%), that's pretty much all I can do except turning off the light completely. Day 21 Flower (Day 63) The last day of the third week of flower and things are moving along nicely except for the crowded tent, but hopefully, the new tent will solve that in a day or two. The left girl is 85 cm tall (17 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 117 cm tall (also a 17 cm increase in a week). There wasn't much to do today. I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and snapped a few pics. That's all.

Hey now, so this week went very well, I started feeding her ripening nutes today....So I am going with silica, cal mag, maxi bloom, and then dry bloom, ph, then a little hydrogen peroxide. Was definitely a pleasure growing,amazing looking plant.Loved seeing the progress and seeing the purple really come through. had the true purple pheno so was very happy about that.In hindsight i shouldve cloned and made a mother etc with this pheno but yeah next time.Like i said earlier watch out for cannabis aphids and PM.Bud is currently in jars curing ,want to leave it for atleast a month before i start toking on it

As you can see, I don't do heavy defoliation on my plants as I think it's not natural to shock them like that. I don't give a flying f@ck about yield. My philosophy is turned towards good flavors before all and I like to follow plants development in more natural way when comes to defoliation. I believe that plant will always adapt and focus on where energy comes from, and in indoor grows we all know that bottoms will get bleachy as we enter late flowering. On the other side, nobody wants mids and small buds, so yes, of course I remove bottoms, but only first few nodes and not in a way of lollipopping or something like that. I'm just trying to be in balance with natural process of plant development at all times. I'm not saying defoliation is wrong, but since I never grow the same cultivar twice, it's way safer to observe their natural behaviour, instead of forcing techniquies other growers are claiming to be "the best". With that being said, my plants are exploding from happiness, as you can see. I got two of more indica leaning phenotypes and two taller - more sativa alike specimens. But all have a distinctive OG structure and smell is getting super intense. It smells diesel and chem like no run before. It's the reason why I'm growing it in the first place. And what better way to try out the true OG than from the original creators of White Fire OG. Yes. If you didn't know Terence and Philip, in collab with Rascal, the real OG's, also known as Payaso and Cannabis Gardener, are behind the legendary OG cross and all the rest are just white labeling this famous cross. Know your genetics, brothers and sisters. There are too many copycats out there, so try to show respect to the origins. Noone can make a patent on a certain cultivar, but we as consumers, need to know who are we going to support in the future. Breeding is art and I like to pay respect to those who actually do the work of breeding. Just look at the Blue Dream for instance.
