08.08.: Blütetag 1 Heute habe ich nur noch die Triebe unter das Netz gebogen, damit alle ungefähr auf einer Höhe sind. Da der Platz nun sehr gut durch beide Pflanzen ausgefüllt ist, ist der Moment gekommen die Blüte einzuleiten. Die PBB hat schon so viele Stempel, sodass es so aussieht, als wäre sie schon in der Blüte. Daher denke ich, dass die PBB nicht lange für die Blüte brauchen wird. Wir werden es sehen. 12.08.: Blütetag 5 In den letzten Tagen seit Umstellen des Lichtzyklus und Einleiten der Blüte, sind beide Pflanzen ein gutes Stück über das Netz hinaus gewachsen. Aktuell gibt es nicht viel zutun. Leider sind einige Thripse auf den Pflanzen, aber ich habe bereits Raubmilben ausgebracht. Hoffentlich können sie die Thripse etwas in Schach halten. Außerdem habe ich die Bewässerungsdauer auf 20min, wenn das Licht angeht und nach 6h Beleuchtungsdauer, gestellt. Falls das nicht ausreichen sollte kann ich immer noch händisch nachgießen oder die Bewässerung anpassen. Den Beleuchtungsrhythmus habe ich so gewählt, dass abends um 10 Uhr das Licht angeht und morgens um 10 Uhr aus, damit die Lampe nicht während den heißen Sonnenstunden brennt. 13.08.: Blütetag 6 Die Stretchphase ist bei beiden Pflanzen noch voll im Gange. Aktuell wachsen sie durchschnittlich ca. 6cm am Tag. Ich bin gespannt, bei welcher Höhe sie ihren Stretch beenden. Das nächste Update gibts dann in Blütewoche 2.

Experimenting with extended light source after sun down…solar powered lights. The goal is to prolong the veg and so far it’s working no signs of pre flowering.

Calyxes are starting to fatten up. Trichomes are building nicely on all 3 plants this week. The aroma in the tent is getting stronger daily. Switching to a lighter nutrient feed this next week before flushing. Really pleased with how flowering is progressing in all 3 plants.

Update week 8 from seed

So last Friday I began germinating seed, tap water in a shot glass I dropped her in and let her stay in darkness for 12 hours.. threw her in a cotton round and placed in ziplock bag. A day later she was already growing a tail and it was time to throw her in a home. Planted the seed on Tuesday and here we are already alive and healthy. I just got my Mars Hydro tent (2.3x2.3x56) put it together last night and now the little babe is thriving with her sister Orange Sherbert . We’ve survived our first week !!!

03.08.: In Woche 7 läuft alles soweit gut. Beide Pflanzen trinken gut, die G41 hat das letzte Topping sehr gut vertragen und ich mache erstmal noch weiter damit die Pflanzen unter dem Netz zu halten. Im Eifer des Gefechts hab ich aus Versehen den Haupttrieb der PBB angebrochen. Da er nicht komplett durchgebrochen ist, hab ich ihn dran gelassen. Aktuell siehts so aus, als wäre die Bruchstelle ganz gut verheilt. 05.08.: Da nun die Blüte kurz bevor steht dachte ich mir, dass ich die Ladies untenrum etwas kahl mache. Ich habe also sowohl bei der PBB als auch der G41 von unten an die Blätter und unterentwickelte Seitentriebe abgenommen. Dabei war ich bei der G41 etwas radikaler als bei der PBB, da die PBB offener gewachsen ist als die G41. Am Ende wird sowieso nur der Teil, der über dem Netzt liegt gut ausgebildet und gereift sein, da an die untere Region der Pflanzen meistens kaum Licht kommt. Vorbereitend für die Blüte gibts heute noch für beide Pflanzen ein Blüte-Top-Dress aus Guano, Soft Rock Phosphat und dem Kick-Flip. Not so much to say about this week. The condition of the plants stayed the same. Buds are starting to fatten up and smell is very noticable. This I gave them this week: Day 1 → Dry Day 2 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48– ph 6.5) Day 3 → Dry Day 4 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 5 → Dry Day 6 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45– ph 6.5) Day 7 → Dry The cobs are now at 45 cm (17.7 inch) with 296 watt → DLI 41/PPFD 949 Temperatures stayed between 21.9 – 29.1 °C ( 71.4 – 84.3 °F) and humidity levels between 46 – 68 % Till next week! Day 17 (starting Aug. 2nd afternoon): Will water them with a lightly enhanced RO water that was imprinted with frequencies via a PEMF coli for about one day when their day starts. After being away over the extended weekend, on day 20 ladies have grown very nicely. I topped nr# 1 and #2 after I took the photos and will give them a bit of water with Root Complex to compensate for the shock later. Sadly my brilliant control equipment has crashed completely and will not even take a photo currently. Yikes. Hope I can get it back alive this week again. Also turned the left light up by another 20%, now running at 40 W, and lifted it a bit. Eye inspection told me lights were lower here and ladies can get a bit more. At the end of their day 20, they seem to have survived the topping well. I managed to cut right above the new nodes which are already growing. Ladies are at 20 cm height before going to sleep. Day 21 shows great growth again, with lady #1 being at 22 cm now and lady #2, while being a bit less tall, extremely good side branch development. I hope that the rearranged lighting on the left side of the tent will make #1 grow a bit bushier too. Besides from that, I am really happy I tested Hesi HPE. I had such enormous success with room plants that made me want to see how Cannabis plants react to it. It will not add much to salinity, so I dared to add it quite early. While the photos are processed to compensate the lighting, I did not add much to saturation, so leaves are indeed of a very vivid, luscious green and ladies looking extremely healthy. Speed of growth has increased too as the added video shows. It also tells me lighting is enough – they are turning their leaves away right at the end of their day. I am really uncertain if I will change to usual Hesi grow fertiliser at all … Did a bit of LST to the lowest branches of lady #2 which spread almost to the border of her pot. Both temporary girls will leave the tent soon, so that the competitors will have maximum space to develop. Day 22, end of week 3: Outside girl went to get fresh air from now on. Wishing her luck, good weather and not a single male in the vicinity. I rearranged the lights and positioned them a bit higher. First preflower signs appeared on the ladies, so I will change the lighting phase when I return next week. Currently, I have them at 18/6, 45 cm above heads, with 80% running to a total of 80 W. I wasn’t so lucky topping #2. She has only one "top side" branch now … But grows extremely well, so ok!
