Day 71. Huge lack of food, girls are eating themself and size of NL brings me tears, had huge hopes for that plant ..... Bob is way behind, on cola of SBG is 20% amber ... Stupid to grow two plants in one pot ... But ... GSC is becoming little princes! her colours, smell , frost - I love it ! Think it will be very solid and dense buds too ... Few weeks left max, only water till chop Video and few photos were taken before some yellow or dead leaf collection. Happy Growing !!!

Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

This week I harvested these two Quebec Black Bud, it was really a great experience. Its unique appearance and these colors charm us from start to finish. Calm in vegetation but surprises us in flowering. I can't wait to see the final product 😇 Harvest : Pheno #1 day 56 flowering 119 total Pheno #2 day 60 flowering 123 total Training : They have received my hand manipulation since day 8 and this every day to force them to grow bigger and stronger until the addition of the scrog. I started my base again on a manifold. For now I'm having fun like that, let's see later 😁 I'll leave you with these beautiful photos and come back to you later. After drying and curing I realize how the color is an intense purple almost black, The genetics are not called Quebec black bud for nothing. the buds are really compact, I know that with the auto pot system I give myself a chance that they will be denser but I believe that hard training leaves its mark.

June 9th - nutrient delivery on the 11th will also see a fence with 6” square holes, be wrapped around the 15 gallon pots for branch support. The 3 pots can then be anchored to the ground for Stability. - dressing the substrate surface (x 3) with a Mulch featuring Worm Castings. Then watering 14th - visited and fed, dinner posted above. 2nd feed in the feed-feed-water cycle. - plant continues to grow and continues to be beat-up by the high winds in that agricultural corridor. So these girls are now under their fc3000 and plodding along without issues allthough I have done absolutely no training at all with these girls they are doing just fine. Now entering week 8 I'll be putting them into a more spacious space over this coming week and take a good look at these girls see if anything needs a tidy up and post some better lower images 💚

Day 70 from seedling and we are all done and dusted with these girls. I have taken them out of the dark place to semi trim them up for a slow dry. Hopefully , I will complete the harvest report as soon as they are done. about 10 days if I can keep them cool enough for a slow and low dry to get the best from them and use up all their chlorophyll stores. catch you at harvest Growmies.

Flowering day 19 since the time change to 12/12. Hey all together 😀. This week she has developed beautifully ☺️. I poured it 3 times with 1.2 l this week. Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. In the next few days I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up being wasted in the small popcorn buds. I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Mar 30 - Apr 3 Crazy weather this week. Tent temp reached 90 and above. Decided to change light schedule from off 12am on 4am to off 10am on 3pm. Seems to help. Hope all is well. Anyway, I cut my first leaf off the bottom of the plant. Getting in the way for watering and starting to block the fan. Strange growth. Some branches have Left side 1 fan leaf 1 bud site, above that Right side 1 fan leaf 1 bud site. Looking ok. Lots of bud sites. Watered twice. One neutreants, one no neut.

5 day since switching to 12/12 did a bit of defoliation tonight .both plants are already feeling quite sticky and there is not a pistol insight yet. The cyco additives definitely make a huge difference to the nuggets at the end
