Decided to fim because I was kinda sad with my Slime Machine yield, always had more success with topping and fimming. Gave her a bit of Flower Girl Fertilizer. So far it’s looking great! Looking forward to buying a greenhouse to control all the pests eating my poor plants 😭 I see a lot of mites.

Segunda semana de crecimiento de las red cookies gelato, hasta ahora va todo bien, humedad en 60/65 y temperatura de 22 a 27 de máximas. 9/9 una de ellas anda pocha de forma las hojas son algo raras , la voy a mantener pero podría hacer un reemplazo ya que germine 3 más por si hubiese problemas con alguna. Por lo demás todo perfecto , espero hacer un trasplante la próxima semana , e ir creciendo algo más en la maceta definitiva, seguramente caigan todas en 7l de maceta pero todavía no lo tengo del todo decidido. 4/13 11AM MONDAY RQS Gelatto 44 and Punch Pie Tyson 2.0 are Finished!!! I will let them go a couple weeks longer but they are good to go! 9/10 Srong, good in coco/ no problems at all! Bubbles, Julinan and Ricky are doing better than ever 4/14 4:09 AM I just had an idea flash for my next grow so I need to make some notes. I have a cutting I took from a gorilla gas F1 fast flower by seedsmen I did it last year. I took the cutting when she was in flower. I put her in an organic grow plug that I got from seats man as well and I tortured her and I forgot to water it and I left it in there and then I put her in 1 gallon and I haven’t tried to do anything but she survived everything so I’m gonna grow her out into a full-size plant. I’ll probably put it in a bigger pot and do a small smaller grow not so many plants next time I think she’ll really be something. 4/14 1;23pm I turned the light up to 114 W and I’m just under 120. I’m trying to feel the driver and keep it cool so it doesn’t heat the room up. I have some plants in there that I didn’t veg right so they’re kind of screwed up and I have too many of them. I’m gonna have to take some down. The extra plants are preventing the better plants from growing so my experiment making my own seeds, it actually worked, but it’s still not as good as getting it from the actual breeders. And I have a series of medical problems that disable me for several days at a time so plans not look good and then I get behind a little bit so that. 4/18 1:30 PM I used FloraKlean and did a heavy flush on the Tyson plants gelato 44 and punch pie. I also used a little bit of it on the Montell Williams plant, which is amazing. Montel‘s dream widow is just incredible and she’s growing in an unusually small container and doing very well corkscrew auto however, was not an auto flower from Royal Queen seeds, but she’s behaving like a normal photo and her color is going great so even though it’s not an auto at 12:12 she did develop photo traits and is going to grow very successfully. I think as a photo she’s doing really good and I have a bubbles blueberry in there. I grew her terribly so she’s not doing as good as she could, but that’s on me. 4/19 11:30PM. Thinking of flushing the Tyson Plants in the Tub....THEN I thought, why not do a Doors movie ending?? Film the plants dead in the bathtub...the Jim Morrison ending!!!!! BUT then I would have to make that stupid white and red bead necklace he wore on that album cover...and the bead work alone would take me 6 months....so maybe. ALSO I would have to learn to play "The END" on out of tune recorder or kazoo, something deep and dramatic

10-18 Water. Let her dry out a bit. Seems i got heavy handed. Ugg. Lifting pots from here out! Seems she a little mad at me, but still holds course. 10-19 This am, burn and yellowish. From over feed and water. Flushed, uggg 1213 ppm to 550ish Full dry backs. Uggggg. Hated to flush since I just watered. But just got it done, before more burn. Should be ok. 🤞

10 September Harvest - see pictures. While some growers leave the plant whole when they cut, I do not. It is a personal preference and situational convenience if your a home grower. I chose to cut large, long branches, and remove any whole water leaves, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the bud formation. I don’t trim yet. This is done for a few of reasons: 1) It’s my last good close-up look at her until another 5 days or more, 2) I don’t want wet leaves drying on my buds if I can help it, and 3) I occasionally like being able to shine a small LED flashlight on the flowers while its drying. Mold is our greatest problem as growers, it can destroy a beautiful grow right up until the end process. Then I hang it in a dark closet, provide circulation and ventilation. Light and heat, anything above 80 degrees F, will start a break down in cannabinoids during the dry, it is ideal to stay away from both. I’m fortunate that a humidity level of 50- 55% and temperature of 65-70 degrees F is fairly consistent and easy to maintain. Anything below 60 degree F will prevent the adequate drying out of chlorophyll. Almost all my flower routinely take 5-7 days, some a little longer, to properly dry out. 15 September Trim - see pictures. First you’ll notice the buds have shrunk up to half their original size. This is just a fact that we growers have to deal with. Due to evaporation without uptake of water, it takes about 3 days for the chlorophyll to dry up, then slowly go through a chemical change. Along with the leaves, cannabinoids also begin a chemical change after 3 days called decarboxylation. A slow process where the THC level increases while curing. You want the leaf to be dry so they can be hand trimmed easily, but you do not want that bud so dry that it starts to fall apart in your hand. Try to handle carefully by the main stem to avoid touching the bud all together. A lot of these cut leaves will be covered with trichomes, good for making oils, or other products, it’s an option worth looking into keeping it. After trimming, I do separate a few premium flowers for my first smoq. Then loosely fill wide mouth quart mason jars with about 1 oz/28 gr of product per jar. I seal the lids for a few hours to determine what relative humidity they are at, see hygrometer pic, before making a decision to put in a 62% humidity control pack of my choice or to wait, then place in secure in a cool dark place with stable humidity and temperature. It is very important to then observe/burp or exchange the air as needed, up to several times a day, until 62% rh is achieved. Once your close to to your mark, put in your desired RH level control terpene shield. If you have a problem getting there: 1) it has dried out too much, no real solution, try to put several large cut stems left over from harvest into the jars with the buds to try and increase humidty, 2) it has not dried out enough, in this case no problem, just remove and dry out a little more. This is also a personal choice, some people like it drier in the 50% plus range. Whatever you do, research and preserve. At that time burping is no longer required. Cannabis will reach its peak potency potential at about 40 or so days into the cure. The finished product should be a perfect grind when cured correctly without clogging up your grinder, this could take a month. Now that I’ve said that, I’m sure someone has grown something that they have not been able to grind. It can remain in this state for an easy 6 months with little change, locking in all the terpenes and potencies. All you need to do is occasionally check the product to ensure there are no molds. If your grow/harvest/cure techniques are good this should not be an issue. It would not be uncommon to find many cannabis strains will last, with small degradable change, for up to one year after being stored this way. Using an airtight glass container, controlled relative humidity, maintained low temperature, and kept in darkness will equal maximum shelf life. Always avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 80 degrees F. The reasons I’ve ultimately chosen Deep Water Culture as a grow medium. Each has their own pros and cons indeed. I found the most efficient, less maintenance and ideal solution for my situation was DWC. Burdens to overcome depend on size up set-up; initial equipment cost, size of containers, ph monitors, air pumps, type of water to use-reverse osmosis, RO cost/set-up/maintenance, ways to transfer/change water and nutrients, what nutrients to use and schedules, takes several grows to learn and understand, a 1 year learning curv, easy to nutrient burn. The Benefits of growing in water; no dirt, no bugs, no diseases, rare nutrient deficiencies/toxicities, steady and rapid growth that enables the plant to reach its genetic potential. After harvest, there is about a 1 hour equipment cleanup, sterilization and turn around process before replanting. Cannabis will perform in so many different ways and mediums, no one way is the best and the best way is the one you are using, right. Chose what works for you in the long run. There will always be an initial cost in set-up. My advice if one were in need to cut corners, I would not recommend cheap lights. This single factor is the most critical, afford for the best. The notion that organic and water has a different taste, flavor and potency effect is absolutely debatable. The more we learn the better we grow and experience is always the best teacher. This is what works for me and my methods of growing in general from beginning to end. A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who stopped by to take a look. My next diary will start at the beginning of October 2023 with a Forbidden Runtz Auto. There will be minor differences during the grow. I enjoy Auto strains simply by what can be achieved in a short time. No matter the strain they will unveil one thing in common, the demand for attention. Many times over it is the anecdotal gardener that surmount plant scientist. Last should I mention, do not forget to stop and enjoy the fruits of your labour...

This week the time had come, the plants were chopped down. They were left to dry for almost exactly 7 days, a little too long as it turned out. One head bud had to be removed from S.A.D. #4 due to the risk of mold. The yield was almost identical with a difference of 0.2g.

6.4.25: FastBuds Mystery Seed #1: She has been topped twice and is looking pretty strong 💪 She has grown vertically, and leaves are always praying. Possibly too much light, so I have turned the dimmer down to about 90%. There are slight bleached tips on a couple of top leaves. I'm hoping to do the same LST with garden wire here very soon. Overall, the plant has nice big, fat leaves. Seemingly lush colour and vigorously growing since the double toppings. Very nice plant so far. 👌 13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 14.4.25: I have been super busy with all the other harvests in the past several days, so this is a little late. FastBuds Mystery seed #1 has been topped twice and the growth has been thick and lush. I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. I have been using wire, clips, and Bio stretch fabric plant ties to LST the plant. The plant has reached the 8 Gallon pot perimeter. The plant is in the first week of flower. I'm hoping to keep the canopy even with my RQS Northern Lights grow as I need to be able to compare the plants accurately for the experiments. I did snap off a branch, again the day after I said I'd be very careful 😖 The plant is very resilient though, and you wouldn't know anything happened at all, minus one of the first tops is missing. Thankfully I topped twice, so I still have 5 tops. Training Techniques used this week are LST and defoliation. I watered on 13th and 14th with the following solution; 4 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 8 ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 1/2 Teaspoon Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. PPM: 1000. 2 litres were given on two consecutive days. I watered in a top dress, which I will add what I used here, but it was another mess up, I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear 😅 Top dress: 4 gallons containing approximately: 50% Canna Terra Mix soil 25% Worm Castings 23% Perlite 2% Organic Dry Amendments, which were; ☆ Ecothrive Life Cycle ☆ Ecothrive Charge ☆ Diatomaceous Earth ☆ Ground Cinnamon ☆ RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules I used the top dress amount for established plants for a pot size of 30L / 8 Gallons. I'm not keen on the soil. I was supposed to get Canna Coco but I got sent Canna Terra in error. It was overdue for a top dress and I had nothing else to use. I don't like it in comparison. Coco is best for my needs. It's much fluffier, lighter, and easier to work with. Thanks for hanging out 🍃 ✌️ 💚 🙂

Veg44, defoliación grande, y ajuste de amarras. Siempre digo que será la última defoliación y termino defoliando más, ahora a qué crezcan un poco más antes del cambio 12/12 Veg46, las plantas están ya recuperadas y creciendo a buen ritmo. Veg48, riego con solo Sensizym y Sensi CalMag, con pH 6.3 y EC 0.8, drenaje de EC 1.9 y pH 6.1(ok). Debido al crecimiento de debe ajustar amarras y quitar una que otra hoja.

07/08/2020 Powdery mildew has cleared up got bird poop on leaves now will clean, and defoliate as needed🙏 Red Sky clones do not take light stress well be on top of that shit with a timer! The first clone I took I put under 24 hour light (on purpose)sent out male flower at several nodes (collecting for Feminized project) So no light stress, unless you need to!
