2024-05-15 No big thing to report, The Planties doing well, established in the new Pot- I placed them in the youngsters room, so they will get stronger light, and gettting more solid structure. BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. Let's go for this session. Long time I wanted to grow Desfran seeds. First because it's almost 100% sativa, and it definitely gets my preference. Got back on Day 42. Two are definitely in the flower stage. I was out of the country for 10 days for work. 😐 The self-watering system with water and BioBizz nutrients made it into the the plant. The reservoirs were almost completely empty after 10 days with 3L of water/nutrient in each. When I opened the tent, it was starting to smell and all of the plants had grown quite a bit while I was gone. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WORKED!! I mean, I can. I was just nervous being gone for so long with no one checking on them. I'm going to keep the self-watering system in place. And I bought a better camera. I think this self-watering system will help me not over water so much. Also, since it's starting to smell, it's probably best not to open the tent too much. And yes, I have another work trip in two weeks. To another country. 😩 But I'll have a trusted friend coming by to check on things.

Plants looking good, stretching 2-3 cm a day now. As mentioned last week, did increase the EC slightly, same ratio, keeping this for the next ~8 days, until stretch slows done and buds start to grow in size. DLI now at 31 will raise it to ~35 in the next 8 days. Last day of this week, removed all leafs below the ScrOG net, set LED to 80% and DLI to 42. Changed fertilization frequency to 5 times per day.

Esta cosecha fue muy buena con excelentes resultados de flores muy compactas y demasiado resinosas , la genética en sí es muy resinosa con olor muy característico , con sabores terrosos muy marcados .

Day 29. Heavy work in progress, update will follow... Day 30. Job done, most lost almost all big fan leaves, all 3 Kushes where toped. In plans one more heavy training session in a week time, few days to recover and hopefully flower !!! Skunks overgrew Cheeses and start to smell, really to STINK ;)) And i love it !!! Next watering - full feed. Day 31. All Kushes have mini mag deficiency, but i get it with my lights often and know how to fight in early stages. All girls will get 3 feeds in a row. 1. CalMag only 2. Silica acid only 3. Full range of Biobizz feed. After installing new air fans, have to water girls almost every day. Try to feed them only once a week, but pot space taken in full by most of the girls and its time for first mini boost. Day 34. Girls got really heavy defoliation, HST , toping and LST session. First time in my life i trim toped plants so much, but they where reaching sky and stems too fragile for supercroping yet, i do it on branches, but not on mains. So i guess they will slow down a bit ;))) All girls got silica acid after. Happy Growing !

Week 8: Flowering Stage Rising Temperatures and Weather Challenges The temperatures are expected to rise slightly this week, but intermittent thunderstorms and heavy rain are also forecasted. This unpredictable weather presents a challenge, but I remain hopeful for continued growth. Snail Attack I had been leaving the plants outside overnight, but during a late-night check, I found three giant slugs feasting on my Gorilla Cookies buds. These damn snails just won't give up. I'm seriously considering installing some kind of automatic deterrent system. Feeding and Watering Consistency The amount of water and nutrients remains unchanged. Each plant continues to receive 3 liters of nutrient solution in their 11-liter pots to prevent salt buildup and ensure optimal growth. Growth Observations Banana Purple Punch and Blue Dream: Both strains seem to have halted their vertical growth. They are now fully focused on bud development. Tangie: This plant is still vigorously growing with new shoots appearing everywhere. Tangie seems perfect for low-stress training (LST) and could probably handle a well-timed topping without issues. I had to do some light defoliation to make sure everything receives enough light. Gorilla Cookies: While it’s not growing as aggressively as before, it is concentrating on flowering. Despite this, it continues to gain some height. Looking Ahead As the flowering stage progresses, I'm eager to see how the plants adapt to the changing weather conditions and how they continue to develop. Despite the challenges, the plants are showing resilience, and the buds are looking promising. Update 18.07: Pest Problems Bad news, growmies. During my daily inspection today, I discovered some unwelcome pests. Some leaves on all the plants had white or silver dots, which I suspect are caused by thrips. The Banana Purple Punch plant was particularly affected, with numerous black dots on the top buds, likely aphids. I had to remove two small buds 😞. To combat this, I brought all the plants inside for a thorough shower and removed any affected leaves. I then sprayed them with a light neem oil solution, taking care to avoid the buds to prevent affecting their taste. The Banana Purple Punch plant has been isolated to prevent further infestation. I'm open to any advice or suggestions on how to handle this situation more effectively. What else do you think I should do? Update 21.07 The heat has been intense lately, with temperatures soaring to around 31°C (88°F). Despite this, my garden is showing remarkable resilience. After battling thrips and aphids, my plants are bouncing back. The Tangie, Blue Dream, and Gorilla Cookies no longer display any signs of thrip damage on their leaves. It seems the light neem oil solution has done the trick. However, my Banana Purple Punch remains a bit of a mystery. This strain appears particularly sensitive to nutrients, even though all my plants receive the same care and feeding. While the other plants look lush and vibrant, the Banana Purple Punch shows some troubling symptoms. Some leaves exhibit early signs of nitrogen toxicity, while others curl upwards with no apparent nutrient burn at the tips. Additionally, the large fan leaves are yellowing. Despite these issues, the buds are frosty and thriving. I recently checked the trichomes and found that most are still clear, even on my Blue Dream, which already has a promising main bud. It's clear that patience will be rewarded with this beauty 😍

He tenido unos problemas esta semana. Una de las plantas no tiene orden jajaja. Al parecer sus ramas no están muy fuertes y se caen. Acá es donde me arrepiento de no haber usado scrog. Otras dos plantas están presentando un poco de amarillo en las puntas de las hojas y una que otra un poco quemado justo en la punta color amarilla. Por lo demás las veo bien, se hicieron un poco más gordas, pero no lo suficiente o lo que quisiera. Necesito incorporar co2 y scrog en el próximo cultivo. Espero resolver mis problemas y mejorarlas para la otra semana. Buenos humos

Defoliated week two of flower. King tut showed preflower within three days, alien tech has taken about a week longer. Because I had autos in the tent I let these two photos veg about a month longer plus I took clones from both plants so let them recover a few weeks from that as well. Three alien tech rooted and one king tut clone have now rooted. I've never cloned before so think I will do better next time. We installed a second mars hydro tent with two fc3000 lights so we have a 4 by 8 dedicated veg/auto tent. This five by five gorilla tent is now the flower tent for photos. I could probably fill the tent with a single king tut plant easy. The king Tut has gotten huge! Alien tech put a bit of stretch on but is staying more compact and bushy. These plants have been through multiple toppings at a time and lst mainly through my own ignorance but they have pulled through like champs with all the stress. In Cocodelphia which I highly recommend, auto water with hydrolock system 4 times a day for 4 minutes at 550 ppm 6.0 to 6.1 ph dtw. King tut is a little nutrient sensitive which i think is the auto genetics. I could push more ppms but she has a tiny tip of nutrient burn so not pushing it for another week then will up ppms according to general hydroponics schedule from cocoforcannabis. If your new at dtw coco follow their schedule it will get you to the end of your first grow easily.
