Today the youngest plant is 7 weeks old, the other two are 2-3 days older. According to the data sheet, Quick One needs 8-10 weeks. Was I too frugal with the fertilizer? Do I need to pay more attention to the pH value in future and possibly also bring the EC value into play? All in all, I'm happy with my first grow. I'm now looking forward to the final phase (how much longer until harvest? 1-2 weeks?) and I already have lots of ideas in my head for my next grow. Auto Maxi Gom is doing okay. She has started to grow. Ph in coco is between 5.8 to 6. So that is good. I have been keeping her wet. Plus adding feed about every 2 to 3 days. Nothing else to report at the moment. In der fünften Blütewoche zeigt sich der Erfolg des Scroggens deutlich. Die Pflanze hat das Netz vollständig durchwachsen, und die Blüten verteilen sich gleichmäßig über die gesamte Fläche. Um die Stabilität der immer schwerer werdenden Blüten sicherzustellen, habe ich zusätzliche Netze aufgehängt. Außerdem habe ich die Beleuchtung von 400 Watt auf 720 Watt erhöht, um den Blüten noch mehr Energie zuzuführen und das Wachstum weiter zu fördern. What a journey this has been. This girl weighs(dry) 263grams plus 23 grams(untrimmed lower nugs) could have pulled out 350g if let her veg a bit longer. The taste is like sweet candy and soda a hint of citrus. The effects are as follows, creative, giggles and energetic but once its nearly gone out. Letzte Woche verlief ohne Probleme hätte auch noch 2 bis 3Tage länger stehen können. Mögen aber lieber weniger amberfarbene Trichome daher jetzt kommt sie schon ab.

Day 15- 4/10/21: Welcome to the first day of the 3rd week.... Happiness.... big one. They look amazing.... really so some changes: Lamp is set to be on 150W approx 60% of the full power..... enough..... they love this ViparSpectra XS2000.... So Do I..... Himidity stays on approx 60% Ventilation is fine every 2 hours switched on for 5 min.... Watering like 0.06 l per day.... Started some fertilization also with Bat Guano, Biobizz family /before someone ask why I use BioBloom and Top Max in veg just beacuse lol/ And... Epsom salt.... Ratio can be found just scroll down.... And yes, I do it on Tuesday and Saturday except the Epsom just 1x a week the rest then 2x for now. All of them are beautiful and the first LST has been done basically just bent them to the right or left haha for now except Afghani Gold and Spliffs Strawberry because they are basically just 2 weeks old so too young to be trained. I assume Blue Berry has a little funny deficiency but I am sure she will be okay anyways I will colour her back lol with some magic nutrition 🤣🤣🤣 I am happy ;) As you can see 2 of them are smaller /Afghani Gold, Spliffs Strawberry/ because they are younger: planted 1 week later as the first germination failed. Pictures sYs everything so not much more to say... ;)

Day 35, start of week 2 in flower, everything is going great so far✌️🏼🌱 Day 37 - All the ladies are looking great✌️🏼🌱 Day 38 - ladies got watered today, looking good & starting to put off a nice smell😍 Day 40 - Still have a lot of yellowing leaves towards the bottom of almost all the plants can’t figure out exactly what’s wrong😅😅

Time for drying. Btw drying them like this was a bad idea buds are pressed from one side may be conceded to move them, well I still prefer hanging drying 🤪

I originally started this diary only for my own reference but I'm so pleased to have learned that others have found it helpful or interesting, for whatever reason. So, without further ado: Jan 19 Day 105 Harvest day! 🎉🎉 Not really knowing how to tackle the situation, I started by cutting all of the fan leaves I was able to reach. Then, I cut each branch working from the perimeter inward - which due to the way she grew, was essentially the same as working from the bottom branches of the meristem to the top. Each branch was cut, cleaned, and handled individually before moving on to the next. Decided to wet-trim most of the branches, leaving 4 fairly untouched (only fan leaves were removed). Will be interested to see the differences, if any. They're all drying/hanging near the grow tent ~45%RH, 72F (22C). It isn't completely dark though, as some light is escaping the tent into the closet where they are hanging. I'm hoping this isn't terrible but I'll be keeping my eye on them. The process took the better part of an evening but I was cautiously learning, taking breaks, and generally being fairly slow. I'm sure I'll be faster and more confident next time. Jan 27 Day 113 Drying is complete, I think. Branches were hung and dried for 8 days in a consistent 68F (20C) 40% RH. They were determined to be dried after hearing a snap when bending (not breaking) large stems and buds felt dry to touch. Sugar leaves bordering on crispy while buds still had some give / fluffiness. The flowers from previously manicured branches were relatively easily plucked. However, the dry trimming process for the unmanicured branches proved to be a bit of a pain. They have been placed in a pyrex container to cure. I'm hoping flavors and aromas that are currently lacking will develop in time. 🤞 --- Stats --- Veg time: ~45 days. Flowering time: ~60 days. Height ~18in., ~46cm. Main Bud Length: ~9in., 23cm. Harvested 16 Hangable branches and a few extra medium/small buds. Bud Wet Weight, with stems: 242g, ~8.5oz. Larf/Popcorn Sugar-leaf Wet Weight (not counted above): 18g, ~0.6oz. Leaf/Waste Wet Weight: 38g, ~1.3oz. Drying time: 8 days. Dried Weight with Stems: 70g, ~2oz. Trimmed and Dried Total Bud Weight: 50g, ~1.75oz. --- Thoughts in hindsight --- Firstly, I can't believe I haven't tried growing sooner. So rewarding in so many ways! My initial hope was to harvest an oz., so I am obviously quite happy we could surpass that mark by a good margin. This is a testament to the plant more than me of course, as I was completely inexperienced and was purposefully as hands-off as I could be comfortable with throughout her growth. I can only imagine things will improve with time. Paper-towel germination seems to be prone to more stress for myself and arguably the seedling as well. Floating in 1% H2O2 solution seems to be ideal for me. I made bad soil choices. This mixture seemed to be too dense, leading to some watering/strangulation issues mid-growth. My 2nd grow consisting of mostly coco coir seems healthier and seems easier to maintain proper hydration. Coco might also be reusable while this soil definitely seems spent now. I didn't respect pH at first and initial testing was eye-opening. That said, after simply testing water and fertilizer readings a few times, I gradually felt more comfortable with guestimating during most feedings, only testing sporadically later in her life cycle. This seemed to be fine and was a bit of a relief after early testing proved tedious every feed. I've been happy with Better-Gro orchid fertilizer. This is of course contrary to most advice, which I admit is probably for good reason. That said though, I didn't notice any major toxicities or deficiencies during her grow. So, these products seem to have worked for me and are so much more affordable than cannabis-specific fertilizers. I was quite weary about not having cal-mag, but this never seemed to be an issue in this particular case. However, I'll be keeping a similar eye on my 2nd grow in coco, which I understand may need it. Training and pruning is important. This plant was quite bushy and wild likely resulting in quite a bit of unnecessary larf/popcorn. Not to mention the additional time needed to trim when harvesting. Also regarding training, pipe cleaners can leave noticeable cuts in the stem they hold. Thickly coated flexible garden wire would likely be ideal. I need to get a loupe or magnifying attachment for the phone. Digital zoom with shaky hands is not great for checking trichomes and my 3x magnifying glass just doesn't cut it. I cannot speak toward potency or yield without more experience, but simply for the sake of a greener hue, I think I could've harvested her a week earlier. Because I left a few branches untended during dry, I was able to experience both the wet and dry trimming processes. Unless keeping leaves for extra humidity during drying, I seem to prefer wet trimming as the still supple leaves were easier to remove with less bud handling. THURSDAY 12/20: Charlene is still popping pistils, but I went ahead and flushed her again today with 2 gallons of ph'd water, some bembe, and some terpinator. Her trichromes are only about 50-60% cloudy still..might've started flushing a little too soon... Charlotte looks pathetic...so sad about her demise. She'll end up in the trim bag for making e-liquid I guess.. One of my 2 x C4 seedlings is already purple in the middle??...really??? FRIDAY: The new evaporative cooler is working pretty well in the tent. High temp was 84f with it running on medium and with ice in the reservoir. That's a win. I suspect that when I need to run the other two 85w bar lights it will be pushing 90f again unless I run it on high. RH is is staying between 38% and 45%, which is another win! SATURDAY: I flushed Charlene again today with 2 gallons of ph'd water + bembe. Next time will just be plain water..Charlotte is super fugly but I'm trying to kickstart her again..she's just making leaves it seems. SUNDAY: Photo session today..Charlene posed well for me, but it was hard to take photos of poor Charlotte... Charlene's got a few ambers now...last flush will be on Tuesday.👌

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT IM BACK FOR GOOD! WEEK: 2 of flower Let me start by saying this run has been so smooth after getting everything locked down and making sure I have no fluctuations in temperature, PH levels, and humidity. I am watering a half gallon of ph’d water with perfect amounts of Advanced Nutrients daily . The plants are healthier than I have ever seen bright green leaves and growing non stop with strong roots and stems, Two of the PHENOS are outgrowing all the other plants growing to be taller than 5 feet for example I am 5 foot 10 and the plant’s are to my forehead!!... each plant has at least 150 watts of full spectrum led with side light from the neighboring LEDs . Being 5 days in to week 2 the buds are Already starting to form ,I can see a HUUUUGEEE difference with the “BIG BUD” Advanced nutes almost 50% faster and bigger growth on this run ! I can’t wait to see the flower produced by these beauties; if they are anything close to my last run I know they’re going to be gorgeous. Mother & 3 clones: The plants on the far Left consist of my washing machine mother , a huge blueberry clone , a kosher Kush clone, and another itty bitty washing machine clone. I wanted to see out of the 3 strains which one would be the strongest and outgrow the other plants, clearly the blueberry from Seedsman outdid both of the others . THESE PLANTS STARTED THEIR FLOWERING FASE ALMOST 2 weeks prior to the Wet Betty’s. CATCH ME NEXT WEEK!!

Another good week, stretch is full on and probably another week or 2. They all got a topdress with compost and wormicompost, insectfrass, basalt, kelp, epsom, and seed meal to keep the worms happy. All in small doses... less is more :-)
