🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. Plant is growing well. Transplanted them from a 1 gallon pot into a 3 gallon pot this week.

So the smallest of the 3 got harvested, Now the yellow plant goes another week While the final plant needs 2 more weeks maybe 3weeks

Week 3 of veg and transition week, she is under 13 hours of light now. Don't want her to get to big in the jar, just a headache to manage, normally I just run autos in the #Hydrojars. She gets a bit more fertilizer now, added some Mycco from Eden Green.

Just added Mephisto 3 sour crinkles and 2 double grapes to the equation. It was meant to be 4 sour crinkles but one seed still ent popped so I’m hoping it will! On to the grow where I haven’t trained any plants it’s a fight for space but I’m happy with most of the plants few fast buds wedding still ent properly flowered yet week 7 on but am happy with a couple glues and the 3 runtz the runtz is frosty! The grape Walkers are starting to swell and fill out big time I am happy so far with it all had a couple burns and defincys through the 7 weeks so far but got over them! 420FASTBUDS FBT2107 WEEK 5 The two of these are transitioning into bloom phenomenally. They've grown close to 5in in a week so it's safe to say they're reaching for the stars. Color on them both appears a vibrant green with a hint of lime for the newer growth just coming in or on some of the smaller leafs. I upped there feed by adding a little more of the Micro/Bloom nutes of the 3 part GH Flora series. Over all it doesn't seem to bother them one bit. All in all Happy Growing for these two.

The smell is really starting to come in. Bought 2 sets of 80 mm internal fans to increase the airflow through the plant and in the box. Many of the lower leaves are curling down and I think it was a mixture of the high morning humidity and the lack of air flow. Now there are 5 internal fans and a large external fan, and it should be more than enough air flow. Growth is starting to slow finally, the height is perfect right now but I have a feeling it’s going to keep getting taller. I keep tying her down as best as I can.

Keeping natural form. Blackberry gum is huge as I heard from others. Did some heavy defoliation.. first time ever so it's an experiment. Flooded my tent with no tray... Needed to redo connections on the tubing... Then flooded with a new tray, needed to secure the AQUAVALVES on one autopot base.... Looking good. Still running 24 hrs... Rock and roll 🤘

So I decided to do bi weekly foliar sprays with the Liquid seaweed on top of the weekly Silica foliar sprays. I can say that I am seeing amazing results the plants are growing from every which way and getting nice and lush. Just pray for some rain!

Week 8 started 5/22/2022 Ending week 7 strong. Last day was 5/21 -- I added some organic dry food *** from the local, PH'd water to 6.2 with some added Cal Mag Pro. Just going on instinct here, added some epsom salt on top and will water that in later. Water in the tray feeder thing (Auto Pot XL in manual mode) is 6.3 ish. Centered into the lights and measured with the LUX meter. As she starts vegging into the lights its gets stronger and stronger, from about 600 to about 1200+ (just a little less than full sun outside in my locale-- I measured). I am not sure exactly what this measurement means, I only use the sun as a reference. I have both lights on full blast. Still deciding if I can handle the heat of adding the 150W HPS, its HOT HOT HOT, but it makes the flowers huge. I am stopping the LST into week 8, nothing but clean water for a while into the veg, don't want to over feed. I am just doing regular maintenance, watching the grow, and I keep using Crop Control as a preventative measure, I don't care if I am wasting it-- not to be weird but it just smells like it will work LOL. Still tweaking air flow. Height at 9" is the table, there are some tips that are at 12".(I re-measured and changed this to more accurate #s) She has to grow to at least two feet up. I need to measure everything and may have to reposition my filter to accommodate the height. We'll see. I am cleaning up the grow area now, nothing left to do except clean and water. Auto Pot guys said my stuff is missing little rubber grommets from the factory, maybe I can fix the damn things and they will have auto water and we will see if that affects grow speed into flower. I am scared I am going to outgrow my tent this time. I wish I had an A/C Infinity 4x4, those look sick. Next day follow up: Measured: I have just enough room to pull this off. I will re-position filters and lights before switch to flower. I will have two charcoal filters and one A/C Infinity fan, with just the single Auto Pot XL, and it will be functioning since I found the parts to fix. I may get some custom aqua-ponics - bubble-ponics thing going in the tray I placed it in, I think with more oxygenated water and a higher level, more cooling and I may actually get more growth/flower -- we'll see, I am always scheming and I have parts! Still thinking it through as pre-flower time approaches soon. week 8 day 3 - minor surgery, f'd up a cola branch by super-cropping the shit out of it. Fixed, but lost time on that cola, added side light on that side to help fill in, just when I should be getting ready for pre-flower! oh well, that is part of the mainline manifold game. Gotta have grafting tape on hand and assess before it gets to be an unsolvable issue. check your plants and pay attention to what they say to you. ***Dry fert. stats: EB Stone vegetable fertilizer blended with humic acid and beneficial soil microbes including mycorrhizae.
