8/17 - Fed the ladies with liquid nutrients today. Also did some selective defoliation. The soil looks really healthy. You can see how happy my worms are. The two are coming along nicely and just starting to bud. 8/19 - Top fed all the ladies today with Uprising Grow, Uprising Bloom, and Elemental. 8/21 - They are in bloom! They are beginning to flower and looking lovely. In between feedings I water with RO water and molasses. They seem to love it. 8/24 - Blooming along nicely! Watering just about every day now. Added some mulch to the tops that I made from the dried leaves I take during defoliation. Hoping to keep the tops a little more moist.

Day 50 Friday 17/05/24 I attempted to try mainline her, failed 😅 But I think I'm learning the fundamentals of this method. She seems to have exploded since I did it. The tops seem to have a surge of energy. Seeing sex all over plant now😁 female first tell signs are awesome to see 😍 Feed today. Day 52 Day 9 Flower 19/05/24 - Sunday. Water today with calmag- Finally seeing her slap them female pistils out, and turn a nice vibrant green on her tops indicating the pre flower/flower stage. Since trying the mainlining and lollipopping, she really has thrown out awesome new growth development. Continually pulling tops back down via lst to encourage an even canopy. Day 56 Day 13 flower 23/05/24 Light water with calmag Wow, this one loves pre flower stress. Her stretch is starting, I've stopped plucking and snipping till required now. The tops are throwing so many bud sites out it's incredible.

It is getting more humid in the grow tent this week. I need to do another refresh on my DWC water right away. It's smelling slightly stale. I should have done it sooner and not waited for the smell to be noticeable. Anyways it's looking good and will enjoy a refresh today. So I touched a leaf today to remove it and after smelling my hand I had a urge to cut her down and smoke it. She's got an omg sweet aroma covering your hands that just makes me wanna pinch a top off and try it. I feel like a cat hit by the wiff of the nip. I'll been using sticks to handle from now on.

At the beginning of this week I switched over to blooming fertilizer and gave both plants about 1/4 gallon, beginning with 12ml/gal mix each type. Made a huge rookie error, and left the lights on for 24 hours beginning on day 58. I was out sick and didn't discover it for a few days. Poor girls, their soil dried a bit and they drooped for a couple days. I switched them back to 12 hours after discovering what had happened on day 62. I also bumped up their nutrient ratio to Heavy feeding (4 teaspoons per gallon) of Tiger Bloom and a little less than General Feeding (4 tablespoons per gallon) of Big Bloom, giving them 1 Qt of water/nutrient mix at lights out time. The next day they bounced right back to life! :-)

Flowering day 42 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone 😀. Both phenotypes continue to develop very nicely :-). The buds are getting bigger and bigger and the sweet smell starts to waft through the tent 😍. It's very much in the Skunk direction 👍. It was watered twice this week with 1.2 l per watering per plant. The tent was cleaned and everything checked for health 👍. Day 18 Transplanted today the plants into their 11L pots.😊 While instead i will let the Lemon Tree grow for another 4/5 days in the same pot because she only got 13 days, so I prefer to have it strengthened a little before the transplant. Day 24 Mimosa, Meringue, and Kmintz were Topped, Defoliated and also applied a light LST to the main stems of the plants. I will do the same for the Lemon Tree in the next 2/3 days.. I hope they have a quick recovery 🤞🏻 Day 27 LST also performed on the side branches of all plants except the Kmintz which is too small to bend its branches. Also Today we got 21 days for the Lemon Tree which has a great shape! Carried out topping, LST and a little defoliation.. 🙌🏻 In the next few days I will let them grow them without further stress. Just trying to maintain a balance now until they stop drinking so much. #1 looking to be a foxtail style plant where as #2 is looking much more leafy so definitely 2 different phenos here. Starting to get a distinct orange/citrus smell from them :)

Mintz Runtz automatic is doing good, I should of changed the solution last update, but I did today. She is starting to form her colas, hopefully she stretches more so I can turn on the Saturn under canopy light. Everything is looking good for the most part. Ok so I'm a couple of days later with posting, though the images are of last Friday. They went full into flowering. At the same time, 3 of the 4 have some weird growth going on. Deeply ridged leaves, a bit springy plants. I raised the lights cause I also saw white points and other leaf burn. I have to get used to the nitro-fueled energy of these thoroughbreds and the 'on the edge' style of growing that autos deliver, as a mostly photoperiod grower, this is both exiting as well as a bit out of control in the style of a rollercoaster, once you get on - you have to do the ride. All in all amazed with the vigor, though clearly, the XLs outperformed the Forbiddens in growth. I have so many conditions going on, however, that all will be too close to call for now and in the long run my results will have been tainted by my experimenting and finding all optimal with these rocket-style plants. I'm amazed at this growth as Jack must have been when popping his magic beans. Still, they keep developing and power through with bud formation. I have to watch these lights, the SP 3000 by Mars Hydro is so powerful, that also getting this light optimal is a whole learning curve, but it does deliver a punch. I think I overdid the amendments at the start with the blood meal and that's why I see ridging so I'm careful with the Nitrogen and give them lots of fresh water with just some topmax in between. They seem to hold out but its on the edge. As far as bending, after the initial bend, I saw many branches develop that are nicely outward, tucked some leaves but I'm happy with the shape of the plant and will let the center bud develop. Flipped to flowering on these girls as the screens are now almost full across the 4x8 tent and we will still need to train them along the screens for the next 2-3 weeks. So working for a packed tent this time hopefully. Plants have been exploding in growth daily. Water was changed out and new water added with 3/4 Remo Flowering lineup and UC Roots at full strength. Smell is starting to get noticeable when you open the tent and is very pleasant.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. 5 more weeks left on the schedule for the veg cycle, growth has been amazing with no signs of stress. I am also using recharge at every watering at (1/4) strength.
