An in to soil she and her sister testers go, i know that for know everything looks the same , apart from the photos, but this will start changing with them growing. For now all of them are growing pretty much the same and now that they move in to soil and start feedings they will start showing the phenotype and genetic differences, but for now all looking great , healthy and strong af!!!
Haded a intro video from seed in to now, including how i transplant and what i use wen doing it so, and from here the moon is no limit for this babes i believe , so stay tuned as this testers they promise to be a interesting ride <3 <3 <3

Pics taken right before chop, currently hanging for the next 8-12 days and then a cure for a good few weeks.
Pictures speak for themselves, I had high temps, supercropped the help out of them and yet are still the nicest looking bud I have ever grown since I started in 2003.
Can’t wait to test how they smoke. I have two phenos but off to buy some more to do a more in depth pheno hunt.

Today marks 70 days, and it's finally time to bring this incredible journey to an end. 💫 Honestly, I can hardly bring myself to cut her down, I've grown so attached to her, and she's just so beautiful. But the trichomes have turned a deep amber, and there's no more time to wait.
For the last 6 days, we’ve been flushing her roots with ice-cold water, watching as she transformed, her colors changing and becoming even more stunning. It wasn’t just a grow – it was a true process of evolution.

Second week of flower and I defoliated again.
There are small bud sites starting to form at the end of week two flower.
The apple fritter has fascination which is making the stems grow interestingly with lots of bud sites.

FBT2304 Week 9
What up everyone. Weekly update on these beauties. Getting some fade in the leafs on the bigger one and having to feed her almost 2x what I normally do of 2000ml about every day in a half. Besides that they seem to be on cruise control through the flower stage. The main colas are definitely swelling up as one could hope and to think they probably both have another 2 weeks before harvest it'll be interesting and exciting to see how big they'll turn out. Nutes will be stopped this week and they'll be getting only ph'd water for the remainder of flower. All in all Happy Growing

So I’ve only just realised how little these girls have been fed, I’ve just done a 10% run off and they had a low EC of 0.8 so I’ve just given them a high feed, hopefully I should see some difference in the plants over the next few days. I did this simply because they haven’t put on any weight and I’ve done my dates and they’re all @8 weeks and 4 days and they look more like 5 weeks to me, I’ve been over cautious of over feeding that I actually underfed. My bad lesson learned

This week has been a good one! Not too much more stretch just simply filling up both the spaces with foliage and swollen buds!
I’m now watering 6L every 3 days and she’s soaking it all up! Will feed strong for one more week then 2 weeks of flush :)
Dehumidifier turned on and set at 40%, ambient air temp dropped to 23/24 day time and 18 with lights off, air flow changed up daily to really help her.
Getting keen to harvest/cure/smoke and then put in the next round! 😊

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ?
I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it...
The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

I dry trimmed everything I harvested. What I mean is I cut all fan leaves while the plant was still in the ground. I trimmed what I could and hung the whole plant for a few days then separated branches. The ice cream cake and the large seedling are both still hanging intact. Ice cream cake was easy as it grew more like a sativa them the indicas I usually grow. Plant reached a height of 9 to 10 feet. Yield was some what diminished due to septoria. This strain seemed particularly sensitive to plant diseases.

Day 38- 18/01/22 and we are now in flowering everything is looking good I’m still cutting down the plants from my last grow Afghan kush and once I’m done with that I’ll be moving everything that isn’t chemdawg into the HPS tent!!! Day 41-21/01/22 all critical are now In hps tent!!!!

I personally enjoy growing mephisto genetics. I was very happy with the toof decay grow and end result. I ended up letting this cure for 2 months. It is number 2 in my book so far for my adventure with Mephisto seeds. Walter white is #1.
I grew this in colder conditions through the winter of 2019.
Super dense buds loaded trichs, very loud smell, and great appeal! I have more of these seeds so I will do a start to finish eventually.

she is starting to smell really good now 😍
Even tho it's still spring here in Australia , my part of the country is already experiencing days over 40 degrees celcius 😐
With a forecast of up to 42 for this friday the 1st of November 😥
I continue to just give them water when they need it , Keep it simple is my way of growing .

a few days ago the soil probably had a pH value that was too low.. this was shown by the fact that the plants showed a Calcium-defiency.
I solved this problem by pouring hard tap water with a pH value of around 7 once.
Now everything looks very promising. although we are already through with the third week of flowering, my biggest one has grown from 41 to 48 cm
the photos were taken before watering.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil.
Day 1 we had clear skies sunshine. Temperatures were in the low 80's.
Day 2 we had partly cloudy skies, low humidity, and temps in the lower 80's. I watered about 1.25 gallons per pot.
Day 3 we had lite showers in the morning, partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80's the remainder of the day.
Day 4 we had showers in the early morning until afternoon. Then it was mostly sunny with high temperature around 79.
Day 5 we had lots of sunshine and temperatures in the low 80's. I watered about a gallon out of the water hose.
Day 6 it was mostly sunny with temperatures reaching 82°. The pots are drying out fast. Today I watered about 1.5-2 gallons of well water from the hose. I added 50mo ferrous sulfate top dressed to each pot.
Day 7 we had thunderstorms, rain, and drizzle early morning and intermittently throughout the day. Temperatures were upper 70's.
This week was a success. The plants on average grew 12" in height. The excessive rain hasn't been a problem and they are thriving. The only issue is the rain is washing the iron out. This caused some mild chlorosis in the new growth. I added a little iron to each pot and that'll fix it once they start picking it up. I've decided to let these grow naturally after the topping.

Since last week I've been doing the normal watering only when they ask and watering once a week with top crop top veg fertilizer and they've responded very well and both are already in 11L airpots that I transplanted during this week
