Had some recent troubles. Overwatered once, then it dried out a little much. Also found out I got nutrient burn, so defoliated what I had to. Used half recommended dose and still had burn. Won’t be feeding for another week.

Hi guys, as we are in isolation I thought it would be a good time to try and grow my own weed so got my self a 1.2 x1.2x2 tent 600w hps light and all the shogun nutrients I’ll need. Also running a 4” carbon filter system. I did some research on the best way to start autos and I went with just planting them straight into there final pots on 18/4/20 the medium I am using is already charged so using just 6.8 ph water with the light been on 24hrs. All 3 seeds Sprouted in 72hrs. Going to keep the light on 24hrs for another 4 days then will switch to 18/6 in week 2. Was struggling with low humidity a couple of days in, so purchased a humidifier which seems to have helped bring it up to between 60- 75%. Also adapted the clean air intake to my tent so it’s bringing in cool out side air. Can’t help but keep on checking on them like a kid in a sweet shop 😂.

Week 7 going great. Liz is stretching a lot. She is more on the on the sativa side with her fan leaves. Both stacking well. Cut nutrients in half on the Canna A and B.

Note: At time of writing the Runtz has had 2 weeks cure, will update the review and rate it after 2+ months cure. Hermied a bit, has very few seeds so not too bad. Growth review: - vigorous grower during veg - solid stretch - medium internode distance - small sized buds - lower buds not too airy - very easy/not fussy - medium amount of smell - 80+ days flower (12/12) in hydro DWC under full spectrum led - responded well to various lst techniques Ease of growth rating: 9/10 General note: --> For me personally this strain NEEDS a good cure and is not worth smoking yet... It has a bit of a citrus grassy (not hay) taste, with some 'special' fruity smells to it that remind a bit of grapes/cassis. When grinding/opening the curing pots there is a pretty dank heavy weed smell so I think the quality will come out after a few months of cure... In its current state not worth smoking for the taste or effect after 14 days cure. --> Currently the effect is not very strong, easy to handle and I need a lot to feel a bit. The effect lasts for short compared to the average strains I smoke. Should develop more character with a longer cure. Hash making notes: - water extraction of the trim yielded 16g of hash (45mc-220mc) - rosin has a bit too much of a weird spicy grassy taste which make it a bit unpleasant, waiting till the buds improve with cure to try again - rosin color at 80c is yellow/white/beige creamy waxy, with hard consistency - rosin color at 95c is golden with hard consistency

I had a really great time growing these girls. The question regarding smell went out the window when they were drying!!! I had move my carbon filter and fan out the tent and in the living room. The smell was leaking out the apartment!! I’ve only sampled one of the 5 sisters. Who look so different. But all have the same smell for the most part. Gonna cure them all for the minimum 2weeks and see what that does tobyhe smell and taste also potency. Back to sample test very smooth smoke it was a tiny bit greeny in flavor. Unfortunately, I had to correct the first week of flowering as the last week of the growth phase because I didn't reset my timer and the lamp therefore ran at 18/6 for another 5 days Some plants are a little lighter, some are a little darker, they all received about the same water I'm assuming it's phenos Otherwise they look really good and grow into the net. Hey folks and welcome to my 2021 outdoor grow diary! I hope you guys enjoy my upcoming posts and see how these ladies will end up by october! Just to break down this years grow, I will be trying new grow techniques, as last year my plants turned out like bonsais, as always, organic grow using Promix HP and Gaia Green Organic Amendments, and watering with a mixture of molasses to feed the soil microbes. So my pops got his hands on some "local growers" clones of Kings Kush cash crop, apparently it is an 80/20 Indica hybrid with a THC average of 14-23%, the smell is suppose to be like musky, peppery Kush and taste the same according to the guy that sold him the clones. Tho, I wouldn't rely on the sellers credibility, all I know is that the strain is mold resistant which is a must in the GTA and is a strong plant and has been doing well for my pops indoor grow so far. I will keep you guys updated on how his batch turns out. So I got 4 of these clones ready by May 16th and transplanted them from a 1 gal to its final 15 gal fabric pots. With that, I used Promix HP and amended the 15 gal with 2 cups of Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 with approximately 1 cup of Gaia green power bloom and mixed well into each 15 gal pot. (About 70/30 ratio @4tbs/gal of the mixture) After the transplant was completed, I started to water the plants with dechlorinated tap water pHed to 6.5 and gave each pot about 0.5gal each of water. My plans for the next watering is to introduce blackstrap molasses at 1tbs/gal of water to start supercharging the dormant microbes in the soil! I also have to add yellow sticky strips to keep an eye on pests such as fungus gnats and spray neem oil as a PM in the soil and plant.

Esta es la última semana de crecimiento. Espero llegar a unos 30cm de altura para esta semana. He hecho varios cortes de bajos, defoliacion y super cropping. Se ven saludables y sigo esperando el estiramiento de la pequeña que quedó atrás. Iré actualizando. Día 25. Hoy hice una corte de hojas grande. Esta noche voy a aplicar EMRO foliar. Algunas plantas se van muy arriba. Pero dentro de todo vienen parejas. En unos días paso a floración. Probablemente ya la próxima semana sea naranja. Día 28. Último día de crecimiento. Esta noche cambio el depósito. Voy a tener que comprar otro, o ir rellenando a los 3 días del cambio, dado que estan tomando mucha solución. Algunas se estiraron más de lo esperado y la pequeña no alcanzó el tamaño deseado, pero no importa. Voy a ir aplicando LST para mantener una altura pareja. Las raíces crecieron muchísimo, pero por ahora es manejable el tema. Ahora llega la hora de la verdad.

Was a little on the airy side, probablysomething I did though. Its in cure now gonna wait for 4-20 to smoke so cant give report on that just yet! All in all very happy with my first harvest!

Easy to grow, beautiful structure and plant. Big frosted, dense buds with very good odour 🤤. Would 100% recommend.

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.
