Not much going on yet. Added some 3d printed supports to make sure they don't start flopping over. Not sure if it's the strain, or my idiocy, but these bastards are soooo leggy. Grr. Watering daily to 15% runoff with MegaCrop 2 part in RO at 0.6EC and 5.6pH. Found Mega Crop gives very stable pH on the right range without any pH up or down needed. Took one day off (3/18) watering to water with Silica Boost at 6ml/gal concentration pHed to 5.4. PPFD 300 at canopy for DLI of 20. PPFD was about 20 for first week while I was prepping and sanitizing the grow room, which might explain the leggyness. If they don't look better after topping, I might pull them and try a different strain. 3/20 - this grow is inspired by the techniques of Bruce Bugbee (PPFD, nutrition, EC monitoring, substrate, environment, etc) and the concept of VPD control, both of which served me very well in the past. The grow room has dual PID controls in my PLC regulating the temperature and humidity to lock in the VPD based on plant age. In later veg and flower, I had CO2 injection on a PID, but that ultimately failed because I couldn't get the humidity down as it got huge. Had too many vent cycles. This year, hope to source or kludge an in-line dehumidifier so I can keep the sealed chamber where it needs to be without wasting CO2. 3/22 no more vertical growth, thank god, leaves and roots are slowly catching up. ¿Cómo se encuentran esta semana? Por aquí por mi zona no para de llover, y la verdad que me beneficia, ya que así reduzco la potencia del humidificador, y aprovecho la humedad del ambiente. Que la seguimos manteniendo en 70% HR. Bueno lo mas destacable: El primer día de la semana le apliqué una poda apical a la mayoría, y una poca FIM a dos de ellas (1 Zkit Kandy y 1 Super OG Kush) Lo que se hace cuando aplicas la poda apical, es corta el ápice principal de la planta, por lo que, los demás brotes, lucharán por el poder de ser el ápice principal, resultando unas cuentas cabezas principales, y ensanchamiento de la planta. Y en la poda FIM, se corta un 70% aproximadamente, del ápice principal, la planta, actuará de manera parecida a la poda apical, pero no pierdes el verdadero ápice principal. Les fue muy bien esta poda, en mitad de semana, ya se ven los brotes más estirados, comenzó la carrera! Y a finales de semana, no se si en ese momento era buena idea o no, pero lo hice, les corté todas las hojas de abanico de la planta😵 con el objetivo, de eliminar las sombras de éstas, dadas sus dimensiones, abarcaban mucho territorio. Resultó ser bueno, al siguiente día se puede apreciar en el video, la estructura que están formado mis pequeñas💪 Muchas gracias, si te has molestado en leer mi pequeño diario de cultivo! the canopy is balanced (see vid), a rather intense green colour, no sign of deficiency (I moved my lamps up 10cm to prevent the tips from bleaching further), the stems look strong, and no more flies or spiders in my tent :) onwards to the flowering stage! 12h/12, still under my MarsHydro, 2 lamps, 210w. can't wait to see the pistils emerge!

Day 22. Girls back from few days ago transplantation stress. Leaves are still dark, but after today's watering I expect huge grow and loads of fresh green. Girls would need more light,but it is what it is ... Doubt that I will chop all old sooner than 4 weeks, so it will be huge challenge to keep them happy ... Most packed growing schedule, so I just jazz with the flow ... Just water all week. No feed, new pots are full of goodies, could easy overfeed and stunt them ... Happy Growing
