Flowering appears to have begun. Definitely getting pungent! She's started getting a little pale, so I'm working TPS One in to the watering, added a fresh layer of soil-ammendment, and trimmed a few leaves. Hopefully i nip any nutrient issues in the bud before next week!

Purple Kush CBD Auto - Seed 1 is growing very well now in the flowering stage. Seed 2 has recovered fully and now growing well but it will not be the same as seed 1 😀

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

(11/04-11/10) First Week Notes & Observations: One week old, not much to report to report other than the first plant is smaller than the second at the start of the week. Removed the domes as the humidity in the tent is set pretty high and think it should be fine. RH this week was monitored for 80% Temps were monitored for 78F daytime and 68-70F overnight. Lights were adjusted to provide 280ppfd on plant 1 and 270ppfd plant 2 - that is also the max for this week. It's an increase from 150 last week. Feed & Monitor: Day 11 - both plants were fed about .80 gallons of 5.8ph de-chlorinated tap water for runoff. Both plants produced .25 gallons of 6.7ph and 1980/1950ppm runoff measured with 2 ph pens that were tested&calibrated first. Plant 1 top soil test after feed was avg 6.62 and plant 2 avg 6.85 both plants were tested 3 times on top soil. Made a video of plants.... not sure what is expected here, but think it will just be for fan movements and free music. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes. I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. Day 99 Plant 2 has been harvested. She was plump! After trimming the fan leaves wet, she came in at a little over 900g wet. She has been drying for 3 days now. The smell is great, can't wait to try her. Plant 3 is still going strong. I will do a last light feed next watering to make sure the swell goes smoothly. Stunty is getting close to the finish line. Trichomes are about 1% amber, 10% clear and the rest cloudy. She has swollen a lot, and I needed to support her a bit. I think I will harvest her in 3-4 days from now. Looks like she is gonna a pretty big girl too.

It's been a busy week : 👉 I defoliated the plant by removing 8- 10 very big fan leaves, to allow more sunlight to reach the lower branches 👉 I took 2 cutting of my plant(s) 👉 I removed the six lowest branches and used the cuttings to make cuttings. 👉 I started the light deprivation technique by moving the plants to my darkroom to force flowering. 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 8:30 am I move the plants in the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 8:30 pm I move the plants inside the darkroom. 👉 Once a week I give the plants a liquid booster with OPF 4:2:8 ; Fulvic 25 ; Yuccah ; Biovin liquid ; Earthworm compost extract. 12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

Leaves starting to brown. First thought was over fertilizing but guessing calcium. Did add powdered oyster shells to dirt mix but needing alot more.

41 días desde el cambio de fotoperiodo. Al parecer en mi celo por evitar una sobre fertilización provoque carencia de nutrientes, o mejor dicho, las plantas estaban pasando hambre. Durante esta semana las hojas pequeñas y grandes empezaron a amarillear por lo que subí las dosis de fertilizante y la EC hasta 1.1 (me había mantenido en máximo de 0.8), las plantas reaccionaron bien y se noto el cambio en el tamaño de las flores. En las próximas semanas aumentare la EC hasta 1.5.

This week they both shot up and got stronger. Wendy's broken stem made no difference and the two of them are sucking up nutes. Next weeks feed will be adding cal mag and heavier nutes as i can see pre flower, generative looks. Small white hairs appearing. Started tucking leaves back - scrog is coming too. Hold on 2 your wigs!
